If Mech Shaman or some other windfury-based decks gets a god-tier draw then they can beat pretty much anyone by turn 3. As others are saying, properly played and built Handlock has consistently been one of the top 5 decks pretty much since its inception.
twell that's just one game plus to be "good" at hearthstone it just means u win about every 2 out of 3 games and if u were actually expecting any more than that ull just be frustrated and disappointed most of the time. Besides these days for you to claim that a deck is bad in the current meta u need to post ur deck list , match result stats categorized by class for 40+ games OR video of you piloting that list at rank 5 or higher for 7+ games consecutively without making game blowing misplays. Yeah otherwise half the ppl will call u a stupid troll and the other half will either disagree with u or agree with u but not really taking u seriously cuz u have nothing relevant to back up ur claim
Handlock is very weak I'd say against Face Hunter (and aggro paladins if they run Equality). Every tap you make is like a free hero power for the hunter. So what you really need is Molten Giants into Healbots really early against those decks, once you manage to get your health stable and your taunts up, the hunter will never get you.
What a pointless thread. "Boohoo, handlock sucks because I lose every time!!!1! (I actually replaced half the cards and can't play it well, but that's totally irrelevant)" :|
This ^. Also, he has to improve his game skills, maybe he only played face huter before and only goes face when he can :P
P.D.: And probably, he is lying about his arena wins...
Well, i'm facing mech mages and aggro paladins, and win like 10% of these matches, when i win almost 70% against face hunters. Are there any tips to play against them? Is 2x shadowflame 1x hellfire better than 1x shadowflame and 2x hellfire?
2x Hellfire is a staple in Handlock. You swithc one Hellfire for Shadowflame only when you're very high on the ladder and the meta allows it.

I know aggro pally is a bad matchup, not too sure on Mech Mage as it was out of the meta when I mostly played Handlock, but I assume it is also not great. Anyways, if you are facing a lot of aggro, you have to tech you deck accordingly. Mulligan for your Zombie Chow, Hellfire, Darkbomb, Mortal Coil. Against Hunter, Healbot goes to the front of that list. Get a taunt up early and look to stabilize, but be careful to save a taunt giver for your Moltens, unless they have lethal on board otherwise or something obvious like that. Against Mages, don't give them value off of Mirror Entity, you have Ancient Watcher, Chow, and even Owl for that. You can even use Zombie Chow's heal effect to your favor in that situation. Against Aggro Pally, maybe don't overdo with the wall once you set it up, because a single Equality could tear it down. Hope this helps.
So this is my deck, could you guys tell me what cards should I replace? Have both adventures, but not rly useful legends, just Jaraxxus, and I have 1 ancient watcher, and am not gonna waste dust when I need so many must have legends like Sylvanas, Boom etc.
I know you dont want to craft another watcher, but it is a staple in the handlock deck, this will improve your aggro matchups considerably. Also great to drop into a mirror entity. Second owl is great synergy with watchers and also mvp in aggro matchups to silence a mad scientist or nerubian egg. Sunwalker seems slow and clunky, plus you already have a lot of taunts and taunt givers. Zombie chow is a consideration if you are losing to aggro. A lot of times in the aggro matchups you want to play more on curve in the early game as opposed to tapping like you would in the control game. Versus aggro pally you want to avoid tapping to much and keep a small hand for divine favour.
If you are lacking in the big legendary department you could also consider a faceless manipulator, to copy a taunt in the aggro matchup, or something like opponents Tirion/Ysera or giant in a control matchup.

Faceless is just too slow. And we have much better 5-mana drops.

Handlock is devastating. Extremely powerful, good anti-aggro capabilities, and the giants just obliterate everything. You think handlock sucks, you need more skill. Arena is made of RNG cards. Nothing to do with actual constructed play. Give a decklist and maybe handlock can be improved.
I just made a new handlock deck and have lost at least 8 games in a row to face decks. Is it just me or does handlock just suck dick now?
You first need to learn to play Handlock, one of the most skill-needed decks in HS.
Then, learn that Face hunter and Aggro Pala are your worst matchups, since they don't let you establish your board fast enough, and your best tool (Life Tap ) turns into your worst nightmare.
It's probably you that sucks, not Handlock. Sorry.
nah pretty sure its handlock. I switched to warrior and have a 100% winrate against handlocks atm. sorry brah.
I imagine that you refer to Warrior Control, which has one of the highest winrates against face decks (all that armor works wonders), and also is a difficult match for Handlock (games go too long).
So, this means that its not sucking, you're just salty.
Learn the difference: Handlock = bad vs face decks Warrior (patron and control) = good vs face decks
When you have a bad streak against aggro, just change your deck. This is the way to success.
I beat handlock with Combo Druid, Shaman, mid Paladin, CW double brawl.
i beat 7/10 handlock i usually have a good hand to,agress them,in the early
Mid pally, shaman and combo druid are considered some of handlocks worst matchups....and all are pretty mediocre against the majority of the rest of the meta currently. CW (even with double brawl) is considered a 50/50 depending on the other techs in the two decks.

Don't tap excessively against aggro. Mulligan for taunt-givers, Ancient Watchers, Shadowflames, and Hellfires.
No. Not Shadowflame.

Why not? It seems pretty good with Ancient Watcher, which most aggro decks tend to ignore.

Pretty useless comment without sharing your suggestions. He is missing key legendaries like dr.boom and sylvanas, so please share your thoughts.

On a quest to capture every zone in Azeroth into Hearthstone cards! Elwynn Forest, Redridge Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale and Northern Barrens!
