Handlock's widely considered the second best deck in the game, and has stood the test of time thoroughly. It is, however, one of the hardest, and requires really good teching and really keen meta analysis. Chows, weapon removal, and earlier cards will help a lot against face decks, but even without that you should be comfortably 50/50 against a face deck, maybe 60/40 in their favor with a standard list.
siphon soul is kinda meh...the best thing about handlock is that you make patron and priest players cry. its instant win against priest you just have to play jaraxxus and against patron just play around frothing and youre good.
You guys are full of crap and the OP is correct - Handlock is not very good right now. Aggressive decks are just too fast, and the matchups aren't good.
It's just you and me man. Some players need a lot of practice to make it work well. Rush decks are particularly difficult to play against, so you need to know mulligans and percentages really well against these kinds of decks.
You're probably just bad. I'm so sorry friend. Definitely go watch some streamers to learn how to play it though. Notable ones are LifeCoach, TidesofTime, and StrifeCro

what is the best deck in the game?
Right now, Grim Patron warrior. Some people say Control Warrior since it has no true counter.
I just made a new handlock deck and have lost at least 8 games in a row to face decks. Is it just me or does handlock just suck dick now?
Handlock requires skilled play to beat aggressive decks.
Have a great deck that's really, really cheap? Help the new players out
Aggro isn't the greatest match-up for Handlock, but it's definitely winnable if you mulligan and tech it right.

well i constantly fight mages who K.O. me at turn 10 with double fireball+frostbolt.
I have jaraxxus, 2x ancient healbot and siphon soul in my deck.
Believe it or not, I never ever draw them by turn 10 despite tapping like crazy.
Like, I do not draw a single one of them. 4 heal cards, 0 draws. constantly. I guess if you have my RNG handlock is dogshit.
Handlock has bad matchups vs face decks

when play face hunter, most of the times get owned by handlock...
they always seems to draw twlight drake and put it down as 4-9/10. then it will be followed by taunt.
n if you bring their life down to less than 0, double taunt wall molten giant come up and healbot come up, then its just gg...
so i guess, u need to know how to mulligan according to opponent...
I generally get 10-12 wins playing arena, but yes, I must be bad.
Handlock is great.
Being good at arena does not mean you are good at a particular deck, especially one as difficult as handlock
Your deck might just suck?
maybe.. I haven't bought naxx or brm, so I'm pretty much using crafted/basic cards.
It uses the Sludge Belcher, who is almost universal. I couldn't live without it.
Lol, wtf? Let us see this deck you call handlock... (at least you run sen'jin shieldmasta instead of sludge belcher, don't you?)
