Yep, another rant vs Demon Hunter. A class that is making me loosing interest in this game because of how stupidly broken is.
What pisses me the most is that the nerfs accomplished absolutely nothing. Infact, they made the class stronger. I was Legend 2125 in EU this month using Higlander rogue, and vs them I was 19-10. Insane right? After 'nerfs' 20-23. And i didn't change a single card in my list. The difference? Since the nerf of Sacrificial Pact Zephris doesn't offer it anymore (and we all know how crucial was that 5hp extra), but also since SP is now a joke of card, the DH lists started to including again Priestess of Fury (a straight up better Ragnaros the Firelord, runnable 2x and that can be played as early as turn 5... I dare you to say it's not better than Ragnaros).
Then Glaivebound Adept, I already wrote somewhere else why I don't even count it as a nerf but I'm gonna repeat my self: ATK reduction doesnt change a shit. Doesn't make it' easier to trade with minions (shockingly 7health minions at turn 4/5 are not so common) and it's not like 7atk was too much to leave it on the field but 6 it's fine: you have to kill it. Make it 6 mana, lower it's health, deal only to minions, deal only 3, but not f**king atk reduction Blizzard. F**K YOU, whoever came up with this 'nerf'.
Altruis the Outcast, pretty much same as above, but at least the extra mana change something in terms of power level since it can now cost a wopping 1 mana after Skull of Gul'dan and can't be played for free. But it's still an obscene card.
But now they said they don't have any plans to do others nerfs in the near future, meaning they believe somehow that the class it's fine as it is. Breaking news Blizzard: IT'S F**KING NOT! And it's not like i'm an exclusive Rogue player that feels frustrad that it's class can't beat DH. I climbed from diamond 5 to legend with Higlander Priest and my score was 20-21 (before the very first nerfs). I'm now using a slightly different version of Kibler's quest warrior and I'm 9-12 (weird, cause he crushes them and sucks vs rogue, I almost even DH but I crush rogue).
And with any of these 3 classes DH represent between 32 and 36% of my encounters. I hate it, most of all because I think that the others 9 classes are somehow balanced and every game vs anything but DH feels fun and interesting. Gosh, even resurrect priest as shitty as it is feels more fun. So, as the title says: WHY BLIZZARD CAN'T JUST ADMIT THEY SCREWED UP (and change something, for real this time) ?
Yep, this is just pretty sad. I did a quick legend climb with token druid (because for some game sit just felt a bit fresh) and haven't touched ladder since then. They force us towards BG it feels. Also the wild ladders is not exactly interesting at the moment. I don't really understand what they are trying to accomplish...
I have zero problems consistently defeating Demon Hunter with my Pure Paladin deck and I’m currently at Rank 1 Platinum and rising. You just have to adapt, man.
Altruis is definitely not fine. He stills does way too much damage through repeated play of low cost cards discounted to 0 mana (Skull of Gul'dan). I lost to one yesterday while having full health, a Dragonqueen Alexstrasza and Nozari on the board. He placed this card and started chaining multiple cards while refilling his hand with Skull and managed to destroy both minions (two of the largest ones) and did more than 20 damage putting me in critical health. All in one turn because of Altruis. That nerf was a complete joke.
After 60 games with it I can safely say that Quest Warrior is everything but a meme deck (Kibler made it all golden because 'This deck deserves it'). So the deck I'm using is not the problem. And if by top tier you mean DH, yeah, no thanks.
Its really sad that someone who could climb to top 10 legend cant adapt to the meta.
Is it so hard to admit that their brand new class is not fine as it is and make more adjustments? I'm adapting, trying tech cards vs DH and everything. But it's evident that the class is wrong. And the whole game health is at risk because of that.
No i don't mean DH. In fact I don't even like DH, pick rogue like everyone else and go to town. Rogue is obviously S tier and climbs back out of any dump in the meta and just wins. Not only that, it's fun as hell.

I did play Rogue quite a lot (78-57 at legend) . Highlander tho, no full galakrond. But I stopped because DH felt unbeatable with it, with no health gain (or very little) and no taunts. But yes, it's definitely the most fun class.

Could you post a decklist? I like Paladin but haven't seen many Paladins lately (in fact I've just seen murloc paladins, duh). I just want an effective deck against DHs as resu priest doesn't seem effective enough, it's too slow :/

I've probably gone about 10-2 vs DH D8-D5 with this build:

Telling people to adapt is the same as telling someone who is experiencing life troubles "Life is unfair, get over it." Offer something meaningful. Anyone can say that. I don't personally have a problem with Demon Hunter because I hardly see it in Wild, but I will say one thing. These observations are both valid and relevant. Priestess of Furyis more strong than Rag. That Glaivebound Adept nerf did tackle the wrong problem. I would like to compare Glaivebound Adept to two Basic cards. Fire Elemental and Stormpike Commando. As for Stormpike Commando, 1 mana, or 0 with Twin Slice or a weapon already equipped, should not be able to justify +2/+2 and +2 damage in a Basic card. Fire Elemental is 1 mana more, one less damage, and one more health.
To this day, I think they waited way too long to add a new Class to the game. I think it was a fun idea, but maybe not a good one. There is definitely a power level difference with Demon Hunter on a basic level than any other class in my opinion.
My daily level of recommended sodium intake has been completely blown out of the water thanks to just this thread alone. Such bold and colorful emotions seeping through the keyboard for the entire world to witness and experience. Eventually draining into the same spillway created by those so many others that have already contributed to it.

It's not like that at all... It's a constant barrage of the same salt over, and over, and over and people are tired of posting the same counters over and over just so the poster can call you names. These people just want everyone to assure them that it's the game, not their playing, and the moment you suggest otherwise by offering advice, they take it as an insult. "How dare you tell me these OP decks are beatable!!! I should be able to beat them with my meme deck!!! NERF DH UNTIL MY FIST OF RA'DEN SHAMAN CAN BEAT IT!!!"... It's exhausting... HS is a competitive game... Sometimes you have to play decks that aren't your favorite if you want to win... Sorry... Play your meme deck, and try to enjoy it even though you may not win much, play a competitive deck, or move on to another game... Those are the options... Blizzard knows the issues... Crying on this message board will do absolutely nothing... They will fix it according to statistics, or they won't. End of story.
This is too funny OP playing rogue complaining about the Sac nerf. I've been playing strictly Gala lock in legend post nerf and have a record of 32-3 against DH atm, and haven't changed my list either.

You are welcome, you can print and frame this thread in case your future sodium level should get dangerously low again.
I'll be happy knowing that at least someone (which happens to be me) has given a meaningful contribute.

LMAO, OP fails.
Uhm, I hate to tell you this, but Highlander Rogue and Galakrond Warrior are two differents deck mate.
I don't doubt you are doing fine with Warlock with all the healings and removals the deck has. But my point is that Sac is not a viable option with Zephrys anymore, and that is a huge deal, specially in a class that has zero healing tools (except the armor of Galakrond and Kronx)
