    I would like to introduce my idea: Gelbin Mekkatorque, The Engineer. I initially planned on doing the Tinkerer, but I saw someone created a thread on here back in 2016 with that same idea, so I switched it up a bit. Note: I am going a completely separate route than what I saw this person do. These are all my ideas. Before I submit my entry to the Submission Thread, I am asking you, the community, to tell me whether or not these cards are balanced. I am confident in all of my other cards. These are tricky though. First off, here is my Hero and his Hero Power:

    Without further ado, here are my problem cards:

    My personal conflicts are as follows:


    I really could not decide whether or not Upgrade was too expensive or not expensive enough. I really just based it off of Divine SpiritBlessed Champion = 7 mana.

    Cobalt Defender all around seems weird to me. I am essentially trying to mix Hunter and Paladin with this class in a way. This class has a Mech package like Hunter has Beasts, but it's very Divine Shield and Buff oriented. I tried comparing this to Tundra Rhino, but I can't figure out what else I could do to fix it.

    Finally, Poultry Automaton. I justified this by comparing it to VoidwalkerNorthshire Cleric, and even Goldshire Footman. I feel like this is slightly too powerful, but even if I reduced its health by 1, it would just be an Argent Squire.

    What do you guys think?

Having said that, I really like the theme you chose, and your cards are pretty good for what they are. Gallywix is a great character, and I love the detail you put into your text. I would even have to say Grim Extortionest is a card I would really like to see in the game.

    With the nerf to the mage quest, quest mage gets rolled by aggro and reno mage has serious issues completing the quest, so those decks have been balanced. 

    Secret mage is an evergreen wild deck that has enough tempo to beat out many of the other aggro decks, but I consistently destroy it with Cubelock, and I feel like a lot of its power comes from rolling the meme/unoptimized decks that wild is full of. Secret mage is strong, but not exactly a huge offender. If it got nerfed I wouldn't be sad, but it really doesn't need it. 

    For priest, I assume you're referring to Raza priest. Raza priest is T1 and is very strong. However, it isn't particularly oppressive, and it's also a unique deck in the wild meta. Raza priest is the only removal based control deck (excepting Odd Warrior) in the meta. Its healthy for the meta for there to be a removal based control deck. 

    Cubelock is another strong control deck (depending on how it is teched) but Cubelock is a minion based control deck, which plays fundamentally differently from removal based control. Most of the other decks in the meta are variations of aggro, and Raza priest provides some variety. 

    Rez priest is trash since the barnes nerf, so no problems there. 

    Anyway, wild is wild. Part of the fun comes from playing the powerful stuff we remember from past expansions. The meta is well balanced at this moment, no nerfs are needed. 

     I agree with this. I thought the Quest Mage nerfs weren't enough, but I have been seeing them considerably less, so it must've done something. This has to be my favorite Wild meta in ages

    I'm about 98% sure you'll be getting a Darkmoon Faire expansion this year. Come back to this comment when the final expansion this year is announced.

    Having said that, I've always wanted an Outland expansion, and I got it. Now all that's left for me is an expansion based around the Titans. Have new cards of the Old Gods in the spirit of their original expansion, maybe give Sargeras a nice card, maybe even some Elemental Lord attention for the lore. Troggs, Dwarves, you name it.

    There was a Tavern Brawl a while back that let you make a deck using cards from 4 different expansions. I don't remember what expansions they were, but that was really fun. I would like a 3rd ranked latter that just had rotating sets.

    posted a message on How Different Would the Year of the Dragon Have Been With Genn/Baku?

    As the title suggests, how different do you think Standard would have been had they not HoF'd those two cards? What decks do you think would have been meta?

    Off the top of my head, I think Even Warlock and Odd Rogue are two decks that could've seen some play. Even Warlock would have had a dragon package, using cards such as Nether BreathFiretree WitchdoctorEvasive WyrmZzeraku the Warped, and a few others. For Odd Rogue, I'm mainly just taking the Wild version and seeing what cards it would've had access to in standard.

    Also, do you think it was a good thing they HoF'd those cards? How impactful would it have been if they hadn't?
