I have enough dust to craft a couple of cards and i have a couple in mind. Now the question is, should i craft the cards i want and risk them being bad or "unplayable" after the meta has settled in, or should i wait for the meta to settle in and then i can go from there?
I'm not one to netdeck so it's not like i'm waiting to craft "Tier 1 87% win rate beats all decks", but it can be at least helpful to know which cards are Troggzor and which are Dr. Boom.
But on the other hand, i'm stuck waiting with only a percentage of the cards i need to finish my half baked idea decks.
How are you guys going and how has your experience been? I would really like to hear you're opinion if you're a F2P player.
Depends. What cards are they? Also, Spell Hunter is looking REALLY STRONG in the meta right now. I can't even beat that cancer with how insanely OP Greater Emerald Spellstone is. Over 50% of players will hate you for playing it, but if you're looking to win and not to be liked, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.

Well right now i only have ~2,200 dust and i'm debating whether to craft more "all spell hunter" or Blood Reaver Gul'Dan and other smaller cards. I've gone full circle from wanting to meme with all spell hunter to actually wanting to make it work, but i'm currently missing the weapon and another To My Side. And while it may be strong now, once everyone goes back to playing Priest, maybe it's Hunter goes back to being unplayable.
Well, i am playing f2p (regularly since launch though, so i have a bit of a collection).
And honestly, it depends on what you want to do.
For example, while Master Oakheart is a really strong powercard, he needs good targets in order to be worth it (Voidlord comes to mind for example).
On the other hand, you have cards like Void Ripper, which can be used in almost anything, but are far more niche to use.
Overall, there is no correct general advice here, other than if you craft something, it should be something you can live with playing for the near future.
Also part of my problem, i managed to pull Master Oakheart but i pulled zero Voidlord and while Voidlord looks like a fun card, they are epic and it's a big chunk of dust for cards that may not be as strong as they initially appear. Why couldn't i get better pulls! lol

I played one earlier and beat it with my cntrl-lock. it was a close call, but they ran out of steam in the end.
Warlock all the way. Up to rank 4 now with my Controlock. Thinkin bout crafting Master Oakheart, but gonna hold off just a bit longer. My deck sh*ts on Spell Hunter. Dont think i've lost a single game to them. Not to mention its soooooo much fun. Auto-concede for my oponents when I bring back 4 Voidlords with DK and N'zoth. Sooooo gratifying. =D

if you plan on playing cntrl-lock, bloodreaver is essential pretty much. if you already have oakheart, you're already on your way. the one i run is extremely expensive, but I had most of the stuff for it and just had to craft a few cards. there are much cheaper versions out there.
Oh the troubles we face, I will say wait and see. keep notes of you idea and maybe see if some on you friend list have the cards and are willing to try them out and spectate. not the same as playing it itself but you will wee how it performes. but as everything is setteling at the moment we can still expect some drastical changes.

I'll have to check it out for sure. Gul'Dan DK was always so devastating whenever it was played against me that it actually made me want to get it. I'm looking at your list and i'm trying not to cry with how expensive it looks lol but it looks fun enough to try some version with whatever cards i can afford to throw in.
If you're looking at goofing around with meme cards, I've had a tough time with King Togwaggle. I've tried him in mill rogue and druid (with burning the ransom) and only managed to pull off the win one out of six games. In the warrior version where you use JTU and Geist, I got one win out of four but feel like I could have maybe done better if my draws worked out better. Perhaps you had no plans to craft him, but I've been fairly disappointed so far.
Sorry if this a frequently question, but!
