I just opened a pack of ungoro cards and got this legendary. had previously never heard of it, and upon looking at what it can be used for, it seems quest paladin is it.. although I'm thinking you could maybe fit it into a token druid deck with all the buffs they have going on.
I doubt I'll dust it just because I'm really trying to refrain from dusting stuff now, but is it really all that good of a card?
hopefully it will become useful at the next expansion or something if not.
It's good in Lynessa midrange pally as well. The deck is fringe, but a lot of fun. It also fits well in a djinni deck in wild.
that sounds good. I had wanted to make a lynessa deck anyway (I don't have the card yet, but going to craft if I don't open it soon) are there examples of these standard decks at all? I have seen a couple of lynessa decks on youtube where they buff her up for OTK's. I also seen a one that has the primalfin murloc that gives you spells back. I have one of those cards actually.
I've not played wild before, but interested in it. would a deck like that be very expensive to craft?
I guess I'll keep the card then anyway, as recently started to play paladin so might already have some of the cards.
Works with Lynessa quite nicely. Huge value from Spikeridged and the new Divine Shield + Draw spell. Also "okay" in Priest with a single Power Word Shield on Voraxx makes it worth it.
Voraxx falls into the "never craft yet don't disenchant either" category.

Yes, it is one of those legendaries that is most likely unplayable. But could become really strong in the future if a buff heavy deck becomes viable.
thanks. I reckon I'll hang onto it anyway just incase. really trying to not dust anything now. I dusted a hunch of legendaries from K&C and also onyxia and DK thrall recently to build decks, so holding off now. I have a feeling I'm going to regret dusting twig of the world tree and kingsbane, but I wasn't going to use them any time soon and needed the dust... so not loosing any sleep over it.
I did promise myself I'd stop dusting stuff unless I really needed to though (or if it was just utterly terrible) so it's a good time to start.

cool. I'll hold onto the guy then. I was hoping to get the priest legendary minion so I could builod the dragonsoul meme deck, but alas it was not to be.
I am yet to get anything good from ungoro packs, and opened around 70 of them now. I got mage quest, warlock quest and the voraax. I dusted the mage one a while back as it's not really needed for exodia now, and also I'm never going to play it anyway... some cards you just know you'll not play and if you need the dust then it has to be done.
I hope to be in a place soon where I can build my collection up and not dust anything again though. few more months of buying cards and I should be in a sweet spot again.
also I want to start branching into wild as well, so keeping old cards is must now. probably going to have to re-craft stuff like barnes and reno I reckon as well (I dusted all the legendaries from karazhan other than medivh as they were just never seeing play from me... barnes I do regret though as I know that card is awesome in the right deck)
I used mine for 400 Dust, which served me much better than the card would ever do. There is not much point in keeping it unless you want to play some gimmick deck heavily focused on minion buffs, which is not my kind of playstyle.
thanks. this is probably what I would have done a week ago, but now I think I'd like to hold into him. I have a few viable decks to play with, and it may come in useful. I do really like the idea of lynessa deck (which it could use along with the murloc that gives spells back) there might even be room for some kind of n'zoth thing, and if not in standard then surely in wild.
and speaking of wild, I want to start playing wild as well, so keeping stuff like this might pay off. You never know when the synergy will pop up for something and make it OP.
In hindsight I'd have rather dusted this than some of the stuff I've dusted in the past, buit those cards are gone now, so there's no point dwelling on that.... seriously though I've dusted some cards that I still seriously regret now. I should be shot! lol.
Quest paladin is pretty much the only deck that plays it
The only deck I use it in. I updated the list and added Lynessa Sunsorrow in here as well (I am just playing this deck if I want something totally different):

I still have 2 golden copies, tried with quest pala and it was fun. It's just a meme card, no more.
One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.
