Well I never intend to play it again, and I loved that card. Won many a game with my Handlock against people who didn't realize that they weren't actually winning when they rapidly reduced me to 10 health.
Because it was just to op in late game with two free moltens and argus. It's good that they nerfed this card, but the problem is that they nerfed it too much. Card should cost like 22-23 mana.
Anyways, we still have 3 different giants playable :)

It was also the only way to survive aggro, where control decks had tools against this (TBK, equality+consec,etc...) so now, if you add the fact that Healbot isn't anymore in Standard, Handlock is a free win for aggro
I would disagree there. At the moment I'm playing Reno C'thun handlock and win % is pretty high (even against face hunters and aggro shamans). Of course it's really hard if they are playing with perfect mana curve, but even then it is not impossible.

Yeah, extremely op... that's why that hasn't been a competitive staple since mid 2015.
And no, we don't really have playable giants except sea giant. Molten might find a place in some reno handlock and reno-freeze lists because of few other options, but that's about it.
It's still decent in reno decks and holy wrath decks (lol), but otherwise its dead because of the nerf, going down to 5 health to play them early is much more of a requirement than just going down to 10.
I just swapped it for 4 mana silencer in my renolock. It's just not good enough, where there are still good cards in wild. Might still be worth keeping in standard.
Um handlock has been one of the strongest decks since the beginning of the game. Always in the meta. Yeah and the 2 molten giant+Argus for 4 mana, has been played forever. Can still play an 8/8 for 5 mana if you have 10 health...still pretty broken. Also mountain giants, nuff said.
Yeah and warlock's hero power ensures you are going to much more often end up with the cards you need in your hand than any other class.

"reno cthun handlock"
that will great against my mech murloc aggro shaman.
Feels that way. I tried it post-nerf in my Handlock, but it's just too expensive. I swapped both Moltens out for Faceless Shamblers, they're working much better for me.

So is this card so bad that it wont see play in renolock or what?
It's only ever existed in the form of digital data, so, it can't really be dead, because it was never alive. Kappa
It is, it barely seen play when it costed 20, now its dead at 25. Thank Blizzard, they really know how to nerf the cards.

No, obviously not. Sees play in the Holy Wrath OTK Paladin deck.

"you can't escape me"*
*or my mech mage.
You can still play it in Reno Mage :P
You Molten Giant + Reno Jackson on your popped Ice Block. But you only need 1 Molten to do this, so you could disenchant the other.
