The deck has a lot of low cost spells which can combo with Lyra the Sunshard
If you previously played Raza the Chained and Shadowreaper Anduin with 10 mana you can play Prophet Velen Mind Blast Holy Smite and using every time your hero power you will do a total of 28 damage.

There are a lot of healing card, since you wouldn't be able to heal anymore after playing the hero card.
Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Bloodmage Thalnos and Kazakus will help you draw cards for the Velen combo.
Obsidian Statue is a very late game card that gives a massive help maintaining the control of the board and heals you when you can't use your hero power anymore.

 

Against aggro and midrange decks Potion of Madness, Shadow Word: Pain and Spirit Lash should help control the board on early game, and you could also use Spirit Lash with Bloodmage Thalnos for a bigger removal and for a better healing if you are in trouble.
Circle of Healing can help the board control during the first turns, but I'd recommend to use it with Northshire Cleric for a better draw value.
Tar Creeper, Holy Nova, Dragonfire Potion and Shadow Visions will allow you to control the board and reach the late game.

In control games you shouldn't have problems surviving the first turns, and once you've reached the late game Prophet Velen combo could often end the game, and you have many cards which gives you a lot of value like Lyra the Sunshard, Kazakus, and Elise the Trailblazer, who can be used in combo with Shadow Visions

 

 

 Replacements and changes

- 1 Holy Nova   + 1 Burgly Bully
The only cards that could be replace to add a Burgly Bully are the ones that cost 5, otherwise you'd have too many of them. Holy Nova is easily replaceable, since you have three other aoe plus many removals, and the healing Holy Nova gives is not that necessary.
Burgly Bully is a great addition, in fact he can combo not only with Prophet Velen, but also withLyra the Sunshard.

Another change that I'd like to make is
- 1 Primordial Drake + 1 The Lich King
The Lich King could give even more value to the deck, and he's also a taunt minion, with better stats than Primordial Drake. The only thing that you would lack is the aoe damage, so I think it would be a nice change if the meta slows down a bit.

Update
I changed the list in favor of The Lich King, yet the change with Primordial Drake is still an option.


- 1 Holy Nova   + 1 Burgly Bully
I think the meta is actually slow enough to make this change.


-1 Elise the Trailblazer +1 Eternal Servitude
Elise the Trailblazer is too slow for this deck, and also slows your draw. Eternal Servitude is really usefull if the game is taking too long and you can't find your combo.
