Reno, Reno everywhere.
This deck combines Shadowform with a Reno Jackson Highlander Control Deck. Reno negates the downside of Shadowform.
I want to share this list with you and wait for some feedback. It's just a cool deck and i don't care about winrates, easy legend or something else. But i climbed easy form 17 to 6 in 4 days, without playing that much.
Mulligan: 3 or less mana cards, with coin maybe a 4 mana card. Always keep Reno and Shadowform!
Sideboard: Frost Giant, Molten Giant, Garrison Commander, Zombie Chow, Sylvanas Windrunner, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Power Word: Glory, Kezan Mystic, Thoughtsteal, Bolf Ramshield (if you face a lot of OTK decks like Freeze Mage, Malygos decks or the new Anyfin Can Happen decks)
Matchups:
- Mill-Juggernaut-Warrior isn't beatable!
- won against all other decks so far
- OTK decks are very hard to beat
- control matchups are favoured
Hints:
- You can use your hero power twice a turn if you play Shadowform after using it the first time.
- Doomsayer is great, but it need a little bit practice to finde the right point. The best situation is turn 2 into Shadowform turn 3. Chow is an option if you don't like Powerpord Glory.
- If you expect Jaraxxus, save Holy Fire to rush him down.
- Deathlord is best, when you have MCT, Shadow Madness or Lightbomb in hand.
I just got my golden Priest, ~400 wins with Shadowform decks! :)
update: I reworked the deck an added Brann Bronzebeard and some new cards, climbed to rank5 with 5-0 winstreak.
update 13.12.15: Welcome Elise Starseeker! The League of Explorers is nearly complete.
update 09.03.16: Kibler played Shadow Reno Priest yesterday on his stream. Noxious was playing Shadow Reno Priest as well:
A bit redundant maybe, but i like the increased chance of having it on hand when the opponent drops 2 quick threaths like Sylvanas into Dr. Boom and i can only answer one of those threaths without one. I think that makes up for the lowering of Reno's reliability.
What are some win conditions for this deck? It's kind of like a control priest, minus the ending big minions. Do you win by fatigue + shadowform damage?
I'm actually winning a lot without going into fatigue. However, I made some changes.
- acolyte of pain (hard to get value out of him), - MCT, - Harrison Jones (down own)
+ Dr Boom, + Frost Giant, + alextrasza (didn't need to do face damage until late turns anyway)
I felt that this deck was good at controlling. Figured it may be worth a try to add more control elements, like big ending minions
Awesome deck and idea in general. Even w/o some cards of this deck it's still pretty fun to play with some replacements. I even won vs fatigue mage :D
3-0 So far first win was a surrender from an aggro druid, on turn 4 he used all is cards with 2dmg 1health card and i was able to clear board wiht unstable ghoul :d best game was vs freeze mage, i did changed a card i dont remeber what one for an kezan mystic and with that change i won the game, i stole ice block from him he freezed till the secret popped and then reno jackson happened and i had free win :d
so far good deck!
Can you please fuck right off with that bullshit clickbait title?
This is the interwebs. People will still click on it cause it has 97 in the title. That's his point. It's still clickbait, even if it's supposed to be (but I don't think it really is) ironic.
Yeah I signed up just to say that I'm really enjoying this. There are a few decks that have wrecked me, and games take forever, but I don't care. This is just too enjoyable. Had a guy pump up a minion of his to 22/22 after he attacked and he "sorried" me non-stop. Lightbombed the whole thing and easily picked him apart for the next 20 mins, with an answer on almost every turn. This is too much fun.
How does Reno work If you have 2x Shadow Form?
oh nice. ty.
Cant tell if you are being facetious in your comments to nay sayers ,but the deck works. So there is definitely some thinking that has to go into this when you play it, but there are few times in this meta of aggro that they can keep up. Most often you exhaust their cards on turn 12, the ADD kicks in because the match isn't over yet, and they concede. Sure the deck will whiff here and there but navigation can mitigate some of that.
You really can toggle cards in and out with this and still get great value. Just remember Entomb [/card]shuffles the minion to your deck, and if it's a copy, like say of [card]Dr. Boom, it will keepReno Jackson from procc'ing.
Nick deck. But I have some problems facing Warlock when it turns into Lord Jaraxxus, and summons a 6/6 Infernal every turn. Could you give some suggestions? Thanks a lot.
Jaraxxus is the bane of priests. Not much u can do other than just try to rush him down.
Hey man, just tech in a Thoughtsteal to get a Sacrificial Pact they're obviously running and BOM, free win!
I think you can't do that anymore since last patch
I definitely did this the other day to a dreadsteed lock. it felt so good. still works :)
Lurked here since open beta - just signed up to say how much fun I'm having with this deck. 12-3 so far starting at rank 11.
I was honestly getting burnt out on Hearthstone until I started playing this.
I replaced Power Word:Glory with Zombie Chow, and Unstable Ghoul with a Jeweled Scarab. Good times!
same here.
made an account just to tell you that i love this deck. 9-2 with it so far. thanks for sharing!
This deck is a joke. Don't take it seriously.
92%? WR? Hah.
