You should replace flame juggler with huge toad. It has beast synergy, basically the same effect, and more attack
Heaps to replace with but your deck will suck
I'm currently running 2 Wolfriders instead of Argent Horsemen cos, 3 mana for 2 damage is stupid
(Seriously theres been more then a few times wolfriders extra damage won me games)
Can people tell me why horserider is perfered over wolfriders?
Horserider got a Divine Shield so it can survive AoE, Mage ping etc...
I Need help mulliganing, I get wrecked every game
im kinda new to face hunt cos i used to hate em so i figured if u cant beat em join em,,,,anyway kinda strange for me when im thinking most the game im gonna lose but i just keep hitting face and win lol :D
*disclaimer* i said used to hate well i actually still do hate em i just like the one i play hehe
Just put this in my main rotation among my Midrange Hunter and Egg Druid. This deck does no disappoint so far. I misplayed my first game against a Control Warrior as I was not used to this type of aggro deck. Once I did get the hang of it however, I wound up winning against a Fatigue Rogue in the 20th turn somehow. The top deck ability is obviously incredible as long as you play smart and don't give up.
Hope to make it far on the ladder this month :)
what about Snake Trap??
The secrets are based on personal preference and the meta. Just run Snake Trap if you want, but don't run over 2 secrets. Running more than 2 secrets is too slow imo for this type of deck.
Thanks man =)
I hit legend on 1/31/2016 with this deck, with 61% overall winrate. I ran an "older" version of Face Hunter and put 2x Haunted Creeper instead of Flame Juggler. Don't have Leeroy so I ran 2x Arcane Golem and 2x Glaivezooka. I like having the 2nd Glaivezooka over the Bear Trap because if anything, its 4 more damage and not totally a dead card.
Just always go face; the only time you ever trade is if obviously your opponent has lethal the next turn on board, or you use a weapon charge to kill a very important early game minion that provides your enemy board control (Knife Juggler, Darnassus Aspirant; etc).
Worst match ups are definitely Renolock/Handlock and Control/Patron Warrior. Just yolo face, ignore his minions, and push as much damage you can per turn. Don't play around board clears either. If he has answers in his hand (Reno Jackson, Armorsmith/Whirlwind) you lose most games anyways. Don't get caught up in overthinking about the opponent's hand and just brush it off if you lose. These games go by quickly anyways :)
ok thanks for the tips ill try to just full yolo face =]
P.S what should i be looking for in my starting hand? should i be looking for 1 drops? can i drop turn 1 abusive sergeant? Thanks
Yeah no problem!
No coin: Always mulligan for 1 and 2 drops. Never keep spells/weapons.
-Leper Gnome, Worgen, Mad Scientist, Haunted Creeper/Flame Juggler, Owl (against Priest/Warrior) *Don't keep 3 drops.
***Don't keep Knife Juggler. Its very slow and vulnerable if you play it on turn 2. Try to combo Knife Juggler in the midgame with UTH, or spam minions for free damage.
Coin: Again, go for the 1 and 2 drops. Keeping Animal Companion is okay if you already have curve for turn 1 and 2. Glaivezooka is also okay if you have a very aggressive opening (double 1 drops). If you have Mad Scientist, then it would be good to keep Eaglehorn Bow.
As for turn 1 Abusive Sergeant, I highly advise not playing it as a 2/1 body, especially against classes that can easily do 1 damage. 9/10 you're better off keeping it and using it to push damage through a taunt or for lethal. The only example I can think of is if you know you're playing against an aggro deck (Hunter, Shaman) and don't have any other 1 drops in hand. Hope this helped and let me know if you got more questions!
Thank you very much for explains all of it in detailed?
Can we have an update on this deck? @neilyo_hs
Well, I want to finish my answer from earlier anyway. Not debating that either is better. But it more or less depend on the meta. The author chose this probably faced the deck listed below.
Flame Juggler Vs Face Shaman/Face Hunter/Midrange hunters/Mech Mage/Tempo Mage/Secret Paladin/Midrange Druid/Zoo Lock/Reno Lock (If these are the type of deck you face this would be better)
Flame Juggler 2/3 can survive Paladin Secret, Trade with Shielded Minibot really well, destroy turn 1 Leper Gnome. Also trade well with 2/3, 2/4 and 2/5 minions and apply more pressure by staying alive.
However, if you face more Freeze Mage/Warrior/Priest I would recommend using Huge Toad to kill them before the tempo swing.
The 3/2 and bonus 1 random damage can trade well with priest early drops. Apply more early pressure, and deal damage when wiped. Also great for top-decking midgame to combo with Houndmaster and punish control deck more for skipping a turn early. And having more deathrattle is always a bonus vs Freeze Mages. Come out as a better body from priest/warrior who play deathlord.
