BLIZZARD NERF THIS CARD!!!!!!!!!
So if a CubeLock player played this on his Doomguard, does N'Zoth bring back regular cubes or cubes that summon Doomguards?
Regular cubes
[card]
I decided to answer a question I had and could not find an answer for:
If you have a GOLDEN Carnivorous Cube and you activate it on a normal card the creatures that come out ARE, indeed, GOLDEN.
So, if you play a golden Carnivorous Cube on a regular Voidlord then when the Carnivorous Cube has the Deathrattle activate you get 2 golden Voidlords.
Also, if you somehow bring one of the golden Voidlords back, they stay golden. This is handy if you want to know if a Voidlord came from the cube or not.
No real purpose other than kind of fun to track.
Pretty sure this is the guy who frequently appears on the bottom of my kitchen sink.
not sure if this has been asked.
what happens when a cube eats another cube that ate doom guard, and died?
potentially 6 doomguards onboard?
no, cubes born from cubes will be empty, becouse he will summon a minion called Carnivorous Cube, not the exact minion he ate. It works like Reincarnate, not Faceless Manipulator.
Should just be deathrattle summon two Doomguard
I love this card and would probably put it in my top 3 favorite cards of the expansion. Aside from the obvious, it opens the doors to many fun new combos with Spiritsinger Umbra and new options for cards like Blood of the Ancient One!
The most hated card from this expansion. Some retard from blizzard made this and didn't come to conclusion that with Dark Pact this card will be OP.
It's not just Cubelock, now Taunt Druid abuse of this card too and this will never change.
Why can't cube's ability stack. Surely, if I nuke a sludge belcher with a cube and then nuke that cube with another cube, should the copies summoned also spawn belchers?
Cards like this store a "clean" copy of the minion without any buffs or debuffs while cards like Mirage Caller store a full copy. You can, in fact, create an army of sludge belchers by having a cube eat it, then casting mirage caller or faceless manipulator on the cube to create a copy that WILL have two new belchers inside.
With priest, you can pull off a horrifying combo with Carnivorous Cube Obsidian Statue Mirage Caller and spirit lash. Eat the statue with the cube and cast mirage caller to create a 1/1 copy of the cube, then cast spirit lash to immediately kill the copy which releases two full health obsidian statues. You also have the statues stored in the first cube, killed a random enemy when you played the cube, and have five obsidian statues to revive with N'Zoth.
Sure that works if you wanna be purely defensive. A combo that's cooler is using a cube, emperor, and play dead to OTK someone with Leeroy
People used to use Moat Lurker on friendlies.....This is better.
This is much better
How does this card work with Hunter's new card Seeping Oozeling? If Seeping Oozeling happens to copy the deathrattle of Carnivorous Cube, will it be completely useless?
But they were asking if it copied the deathrattle effect... as in summon 2 of what the cube ate. And to answer their question: Yes, yes it should. There ain't not be a deathrattle.
Yes it will. It will have copied "deathrattle: summon ???", because there was no original target minion to fill the question marks. No minion was specified, so no minion will be summoned.
