Hey, this can help warlock kill themselves even faster when playing with a friend.
mech warlock meta!
lol no, jk
Baku Hunter otk in wild:
Clockwork automaton -> carnivorous cube -> play dead x2 -> hero power = 48 damage with one emperor tick. This is a 5 card combo so it's a bit of a long shot but it's really cool! If I am being serious about this deck though, you could run fetch cards like tracking, and stitched tracker to find combo pieces. Yes, you will discard parts of it at times, but I don't think you care too much because your hero power still does a lot of damage per turn, and you could potentially pressure the opponent down anyway.
Slight issue with your combo, Emperor is 6 mana and 6 is a even number last time i checked :P
Replace Baku with Justicar then I guess. Makes the deck way less consistent but hey, it's something.
You don't even need that much of a combo. If you got an upgraded HP and play some of this guys you'll start doing a bunch of dmg a turn only with your hero power. Is control hunter a thing? If you can end the game quickly enough it might be a new thing.
rip, I'm dumb xD
there's a bunch of decks that will really enjoy this. Obviously there's no way to tell yet, but we might end up really hating this one
Baku Hunter is no longer a meme, it's a threat now
(it's probably still just a meme)
What would happen if you have two or three of these on the board?
madness
Will warlock's DK hero power heal for 12???????
It should, yes. It would deal 6, then the lifesteal aspect would heal 6x2 for 12.
Really?
I understand your thoughts, but I would bet on 6.
Lifesteal heals you, but is not healing, right?
It would be weird if lifesteal heals more than it damages.
It not the guessing section, just try Valen + life leash. We know how this machanik work since 2017 august, and then you come and use your incredible logic.
Yea, but there are google and youtube, and even if he ask this question on aforum istend of research by himselfe, ist not a problem. But he was answering to some1 else with his own madeup information, and thas a problem.
The effect is for an epic card but the body 4/4 on turn 5 is not competitive. probably sees game but i don't know
Raza and Shadow Reaper
you can cube it with Priest, then copy (the new card), hit it with HP, copy the other, hit that too, circle of healing twice and hit face twice. 2x2x2x2x2x2 = 64 per shot. Sure, it takes 2 turns, but no one will want to kill the first Cube considering you can get the two clockworks and deal 8 per shot, and if they silence it, you can try it again since it's not legendary. AND you may play actual Velen later to boost it even further if one or two survive for 16dmg per shot.
Wild Druid
Aviana + Kun => Mayordomo + clockwork + cube + faceless + deathwing and hero power for 128!
Hunter with Baku
clockwork and cube, next turn, double "Play death" and hero power for 48dmg.
So you're saying Baku the Mooneater Odds Priest can more reliably heal something for 8 (or damage something damaging-heals effects) with their Hero Power? Interesting, maybe there could be a Baku Priest after all.
Lots of people are pointing out the synergy with Bloodreaver Gul'dan, but the real synergy is with the normal life tap hero power, 2 mana, deal 4 damage and draw a card. This way Warlock players can kill themselves faster to activate Molten Giant and Hooked Reaver!
In all seriousness, this card is okay. Sure it synergizes well with Bloodreaver, but Warlock as of now does not need more removal nor healing and typically once you play the DK you can stabilize rather easily. In mage, this cad is just meh, as it's only an increase of 1 damage. With hunter this could be a cute finisher I guess with Prince Taldaram so you can deck people for 8 (12 if you use it in an odd deck) but at the cost of dropping Kill Command (which does the same thing but for a total of 8 mana and a beast), Eaglehorn Bow and Animal Companion, most of which see play in every hunter deck as they are fairly consistent. In priest, 2 mana heal 4 can help a more midrange-y deck to fight for board well, but then it becomes an issue in how this card is a 5 mana 4/4.
In many ways this card suffers from the issues most of the inspire cards also suffered from. This being it was just low impact and that there were better cards available.
One final note, this card can easily make for some fun OTKs, but I don't think (nor do I hope) this becomes a viable archetype (unless Dirty Rat 2.0 is printed).
