Wispering Woods, Mark of the Lotus x 2, Power of the Wild x 2 = 10 mana for 7 5/5s
With Dragonfire and Felfire leaving standard, how are you gonna counter that without Twisting Nether, Psychic Scream (which severely counters this), etc.
Really, other than a Psychic Scream counterplay, this is a pretty impressive turn.
or you can just play quest rogue for the same effect but with chargeYou're right.. I guess this loses to Flamestrike cause it'll only be 3/3s ;P
The only hope for this is that they are actually planning to make some synergies with that style of druid in next 2 expansions.
4 mana 7/7 :v
nao! just naoooo!
7 1/1s for your board IF you have no other units in play. Would be kinda interesting if they have Wisp buffs, but i doubt they will make them into a class.
So which Hearthstone team member's fursona is that
All of them.
Maybe I sound nuts but could this be used in a deck that runs a more controlling style to just be used as a threat? If unanswered up to 7 1/1s can be useful for trading or pressure, and you can still run Branching Paths in a control deck to gain value in other ways when they DO answer this, or to punish them when they don't.
Nope.
why not just run Living Mana?
You dont lose mana so you can play loads more aoe buffs next turn instead of just one. plusMark of the Lotus rotates out, so in standard, Living Mana is weaker without 1 mana aoe buff backing it up.
you could also use both, if you want to have more token creators.
Because you are not playing aggro? This card is definitely bad in aggro...
So your incentive to not play cards is to get more wisps?
Doesn't even Overload you for 2... Literally unplayable.
topkek
Like this design, doesn't fit into aggro and promotes a more midrange token deck. Too bad Pilfered Power is rotating, seems like the first good synergy card with it of this hand holding token deck. Branching Paths and Sea Giant seem natural fits with this card, nice.
They're really pushing token druid for this expansion, but they're getting rid of Mark of the Lotus so I can deal with it.
Can't wait to play Wisp Druid in Wild!
2x Wisp
2xWisps of the Old Gods
2xDark Wispers
2xWispering Woods
In all seriousness, Even (hand?) Druid seems like it could be a thing
Idk about the card. I think wild definitely has more backup for it than standard, but warlock is still bs in wild, and warlock excels at clearing tokens. So there you have it. I'm a big fan of midrange token decks and climbed to rank 5 and higher with my own midrange token decks so I hope I can make it work; given there are more options to back up this card.
This card is absolutely terrifying in a well-built token deck. It might as well read "play with Power of the Wild to summon 7 2/2 minions for 6 mana and then nuke them to death next turn with a Savage Roar and Evolving Spores.
