Hot take: I like this card and he’s actually been quite useful. Since apparently no one wants to run him it means I get a 7 mana 8/8 Dragon for my Control decks, and since he’s 7 mana he corrupts my Tickatus
Can't wait to craft this in gold to play alongside my golden Baku the Mooneater and Prince Malchezaar.
Hopefully the 15 second turns won't count the 30 seconds of animations that play at the start of each game.
Why would anyone want to put a 7 mana 8/8 into their deck?
True... Played with it like 20 games and no mate. Why not 6 mana?
Should have been 5 or 6 mana. 4 mana and it would have been in every deck, 5 or 6 gives some incentive to try it. It does have a dragon tag, which is useful for Priest/Warrior right now.
Si I can run it in Rogue, play 20 cards per turn just to time them out with my animations.
Love this change. I think the stats should actually be even better, making it a favorable inclusion if you're the only one who did.
Wow, they actually managed to make Nozdormu worse than it already was.
It's a 7 mana 8/8, those are solid stats.
What? Old Nozdormu had literally no upside. At least this one has the slight upside of being a 7 mana 8/8
Lol this would be important if this was 2015.
This is a good answer to the players complaining that turns are too long. However, it's not gonna fit every deck unless you know you're facing someone running the same card.
The main problem with making it 5 or 6 mana is that it would be a 'must include' in every deck. I think 7 mana 8/8 is the most balanced they could make it without creating a 'blitz' game mode. There might be an issue with dragon based decks being too strong in the new meta because they benefit from its type, but I think this is a very cool concept. I'm super excited to see how it works out!
Honestly, think it should be a 5 or 6 mana 8/8 to...encourage...people to play it; then running the risk of facing someone else with it.
And reward the player who only has it? Not a good idea. Especially since this is a legendary which means $$$
Finally, grind to legend can be quicker. I hope it's actually 15 seconds this time.
Most awesome design of this set! I will play this in every deck for the first week. I hope some are with me ;)
Blitz tournament mode incoming.
The draw dragon card will not disable its effect since it is Start of the game:.
Looking forward to this!
