Awesome post dude, really useful!
You forgot about C'Thun really bad at 10
Yes. C'Thun Rogue is potentially amazing because the buffs are tied to yourself, so Preparation Gang Up on C'Thun every day!
But yes, playing Forbidden Shaping in C'Thun Priest for 10 mana has the chance to summon your exact buffed C'Thun without any Battlecry.
Versatility. There's a chance you'll get screwed on it. In fact more often than not it won't be great. but being able to cast it at any point and get something, even something below average, is often better than having to play an early game card on turn 8 just so you don't lose tempo, or better than holding a Ragnaros for 3 more turns when you need something urgently on turn 5.
Single coolest card I've seen since I for the first time saw Birds of Paradise. Not two cards that match, but it's the same feeling i got. It just works with and in everything.
This card sucks, really how can u think its good.....insted of puting it in the game why not just put the minion you want?
u lose battlecry.....
for 9 mana get nefarion with his battlecry, or get a random 9 drop
just my question is: why random when u can pick specific?
the only good thing about it is that it fit the curve no matter what
As you said yourself, it'll always fit the curve
It can (potentially) be good on any turn
A top-deck 1 or 2 mana drop on turn 10+ sucks, this card won't suck as a top-deck.
It'll serve it's purpose in both early, mid and late-game
You give away some synergy, but get a lot of flexibility
I do see this card becoming a viable option, no doubt.
at first look it looks great, but i prefer the correct minion that fits the deck/curve
this card wont see play
You said it yourself. The reason why this card is good, and I think could actually be playable, is because no matter what you will play on curve. You could draw this on turn two, or on turn ten, and it fits your curve perfectly. Also, you have to realize that a lot of cards do not have battlecry, also some battlecry are not always good (e.g. Deathwing when you have a board). Of course there are some scenarios where this card could be weak due to poor RNG, but overall this card is so flexible that it is good.
I'm reconsidering
I can change my mind, I'm Canadian
The way the priest plays is a reactive style where you just react to what the opponent plays and maintain board through killing spells and healing your minions sometimes just flat out stealing their minions as yours. Sometimes priest can have awkward hands depending on what's on board. Cabal and shadow: pain need 2 atk, cleric is for drawing cards, wild Pyromancer they all have jobs beside being a body. Forbidden shapping is perfect to ease those moments where you don't want to waste a tech card early, but if not used early just cooks into a threat, almost anything 6 and up has a solid chance to be something that needs to be dealt with. This card is for sure a good 1 of in control priest
this is better than the mage card, IMO.
It's kinda Unstable Portal. Loved it!
Seems much better than its mage instant damage counterpart, and a prefect replacement for a legendary you might not have
My first reaction when I read this card was, "WTF??"
We won't be able to use the hero power after it if we got an inspired card from it
I am the dancing master
I would love to see someone play this on turn 9 and get majordomo
it will happen one day my friend hahaha
