April 2016 Card Nerf
It was announced on April 20th, 2016 that Blade Flurry would receive a nerf.
- Mana cost increase to 4, up from 2.
- Now only deals damage to enemy minions - does not include the Hero.

This is basically a consecration that requires you to use the hero power and another card beforehand for the same effect minus the damage to the player.
I actually agree that they nerfed this card too hard since that really limits the board clear potential, but there's always Vanish...
Those Druid cards should have been given the bat years ago, so no Druid has no reason to whine. Not to mention most of their cards are still crazy good. Lore still gives you a card or a heal and a 5/5 body, Keeper still silences or deals 2 damage, but isn't a pain in the ass to kill now, and no more ridiculous combos for lethal at 22+ hp. I don't see any reason for Druid to be complaining, overall they still have very strong class cards and will still be one of the better classes.

You know, surprisingly if control rogue becomes a thing i think that combo will probably see play. With C'thun and all the removal rogue has I think it could definitely be a strong combo/control deck.

It may help to push more Minion based or Control Rouge. It's a hard and suprising nerf, but reasonable. 4 Mana Deal 3+ dmg is still a good deal.

By far the worst nerf in a pool of actually pretty good nerfs. I like all the nerfs I'll admit, but upping th mana cost on this card is unescceasry. All they needed to do was take always the face damage, that's it. Btw who's decision was it to make it 4 mana and not 3 mana? Blizz has their reasons for it though so we'll see in the future.
4 mana pulls it out of a free cost from Preparation for Maly, Posion & Flurry -- only reason I can think of
Will almost never see play now. it needed to be a cheap board clear or else rogues struggle to get ahead on board early in the game

This card is so bad now! I mean four mana only minions? I don't want to rage but the card probably is destroyed forever. I really liked the card.

I'll give Blizzard credit where it's due as a few of the nerfs are actually pretty reasonable (Knife Juggler is definitely worse at 2 attack instead of 3 but it's still not terrible), but this one is very eh...
I mean, I think they could've just made it hit enemy minions and kept the mana cost the same and then it would be balanced, but adding 2 more mana on top of it. Just damn.

RIP Rogue. We will NEVER be able to do anything against board swarms anymore.
This put the nail in the coffin for oil rogue and raptor rogue that were already losing significant part of their rosters, and control rogue won't be able to do jack against the likes of zoo, so unless Blizzard got some massive plans for rogue ( And, looking at the cards we already got, this isn't likely ), the class has been deleted from the game.
You can still clear boards just fine, what you cant do is hit face with it.
Wait, so you are actually telling me that 4 mana for 1 damage, 5 for 3 damage to board (needing 2 cards), no more oil to only deal damage to minions is just "fine" ? Now its only matter of time to add mana cost to Prep and then we are finished...
