Deal 4 damage. Costs (1) less for each minion that died this turn.

Dragons breathe fire, sure, but did you know they can also breathe Cotton Candy? It's harder to give them a reason to do that, though.

So much BM with Flamestrike
I think the primary issue with this card is based on the mana cost and how to make it efficient. once you trade creatures on turn 5 the make it cost less what are you going to hit face? then drop a smaller creature then turn 5 requires? not a good card.
This card should read : Deal 4 damage. Costs (1) less and does (1) more damage for each minion that died this turn.
Then I would consider it a good card.
Why more spells for already OP mages!!!!
I don't think mage really need more burn..why would you play this card over fireball?..people are going to play around with this card then never use it again unless someone wants to make a pure burn deck.
Anybody know where to get the concept art/full art?
Almost 2 years later, and buried on the second page; very few people will ever even see this comment, but maybe someone will find it helpful.
Full art is usually found on the wiki page for each card. A link to the wiki page can be found in the top "Quick Info" section. In this case, it leads to the following page, which does have the full art:

This card looks really bad. To make it 3 mana is already situational and even then it's still bad.
This card is going to be a situational card like Flamecannon. Some decks play only one Flamecannon, and I think this card may be kind of like that. It has its usage as more of a tech card or an extra finisher. It not the worse card that I can imagine, but I can see how it isn't the best. But with all that I think its going to be a tech card at best for constructed.
Well, if everyone starts playing Millhouse Manastorm....
I'd still rather have Frostbolt. But I agree that it's pretty much what mages need, they are getting a bit silly - and their other card is quite OP
This card will be very good. I think it will almost be an auto-include in decks. Any spell that damages any enemy you want is good. Right now, mage has frostbolt and fireball, both are in every deck. You dont have to get maximum value off this card to make it good. Even casting at max mana cost when you need that last little bit of damage is helpful. You may not see more than one copy in a deck though.
I think this card will frequently get played for 3-4 mana and still be useful. You may even see decks running more spell power.
Flamestrike + 5 minions who die except a large minion ( Dr. Boom ) = Now large minion dies for cheap
I think it could be pretty good in a situation where the enemy has a few weak and one strong minion, you wouldn't have to worry about having your face ragnarosed after removing opponents board, Flamestrike for 7 mana, kill let's say 4 minions and finish the last one for 1 mana. Not a bad deal, but I think this card is too situational to see much play.
Honestly one might consider this a nerf to the strength of mage in arena. the rarity would directly effect your chances of getting more consistent spell cards like Frostbolt and Flamecannon.
the problem is that 4 damage for 3 mana is still bad.
I think it has some potential, not too bad and not too good, may have some good value with the right deck, this is the type of card that I like, not a "must include" and not "never include".
The worst spell of mage. Well done.
Uh, it's a mage card bud.
I'm assuming he means it would be more interesting for hunters? which wouldn't happen lol
Thia card is pretty bad. Cant use it in burn/mech mage cause you want to go mostly face with those deck types and not trade unless you have superb trades. It's a control mage card I guess but even then it's a non rng flamecannon at best.
