Well, my recent cases:
1. Used [card]Perdition's Blade[/card] and pointed the battlecry on my face. (Oh, isn't it ME who equip it?)
That lost me an arena run.
2. I had 4 health, full board with one Armorsmith, lethal next turn. The opponent drops Grommash Hellscream and casts Whirlwind with his remaining mana.
I hit concede button, then saw Dad Grommash finish hitting my face, with 1 hp left!
The trouble with Acidmaw is that it does nothing by itself. Compare it on cost value: Flamestrike also costs 7 and is a mid-range clear of the enemy's board. With Acidmaw, it has to combo with something else. If you simply combo it with minion trades, it kills all your own stuff, effectively making all trades a wash, even if you would win some of them (for example, if you were playing a Control deck). Then, if you've got Acidmaw on the board and some other stuff, say a Pit Fighter, and you play something like Unleash the Hounds to clear the board, Acidmaw actually really weakens your board, because now the opponent can simply ping Pit Fighter to kill it. Top all of this off by the fact that Acidmaw has horrible stats (6 combined stats for 7, instead of the 15, we would consider baseline considerable, or the 18 of Dr. Boom.) Then you really have to ask yourself, when does a Hunter need to clear a board so badly? Why can't you simply maintain some tempo and combine Hunter's Mark and Deadly Shot to do your dirty work? I think the card is entirely unplayable.
Acidmaw has its potential to clear board, however,

Everytime I use "mass disenchant", cards disenchanted are marked as unvisited. (i.e. a tag "new" appears on that card)
This is rather annoying since I have to scroll pages to click those cards. :(
Anyone facing the same problem?
update: I just found that since new patch, you can type in "new" in the search bar to look for & clean up "new" cards, hope this helps :)

Two recent Pal 12 wins.
The first deck is featured for its weapons: Muster for Battle/Argent Lance/Truesilver Champion + Spiteful Smith shut up lots of minions, and those minions help restoring health (e.g. Earthen Ring Farseer/Tuskarr Jouster) are important for surviving.
The second deck, well, is strong because of excellent low mana cost minions, and those op Murloc Knights. And it is interesting to see [card]Master Swordsmith[/card] works well when the board is controlled.
One deck wins me 255 golds, and another 250 golds LOL. Still I was very happy about the Lightforge Key!

Acidmaw + Dreadscale is an intuitive/dusty/mehh combo.
7-mana is really too expensive... Two new legendary cards for hunter in TGT? No, I saw one only.
