I have had the same troubles too =/

but I have figured out that the Resurrect way to win is not the way, since you just said why the match up is really hard (because of Hex) . I think the best way to beat shaman in the early game is to just hard mulligan for Wild Pyromancer and cheap spells like Holy Smite to really get the board cleared up and sort of just scale into the mid to late game. I have tried that strategy and it is the best odds to beating Shaman. They will end up hexing the Injured Blademaster but you kinda want that so that your Priest of the Feast can get a lot of value. Then you basically just control the board by resurrecting the Wild Pyromancer and clearing again to win. You will basically exhaust them from resources and their "big" threats. Also use Entomb on Azure Drake to get some more card draw; also that spell power goes a long way. Good luck!

UPDATE: Here is a match up that I had with a Shaman, and should typically go like this. It's a grind I will admit, but the game is very interesting and very fun.

@fur0 Great stuff man! Love your material and keep up the great work!

Also thanks for showing this match up, I have trouble playing against the N'Zoth Control Warrior build because they are more proactive than the pure Control Warrior counterpart. I think it is because with this match up, I feel the pressure when they start being more proactive on the board and I think I need to still approach this as reactive as possible. I tried to play this match up as a tempo-style but I always try to run faster than I can and start to tumble. Your video clearly shows exactly how to play it (even though your opponent clearly made huge mistakes playing the deck). So I want to say thanks again for your insights!

    P.S.

I am sure someone has already answered your question, but when silencing a minion with deathrattle; if it dies, it still comes back with N'Zoth because N'Zoth's battlecry condition is met, so thats why Cairne Bloodhoof came back. Only hard removal like the Polymorph Boar play you did on Sylvanas Windrunner would prevent it from resurrecting with N'Zoth.

If you scroll down, just use Kodorider. I think that's a good sub for Nexus-Champion Saraad

    I love this deck!

I played 24 games with it, and I can honestly say that @BikeCrash's analysis is spot on. The deck does seem to lack a little bit of draw, which would help out with some match ups to cycle properly for answers. For the most part, this deck does exactly what it is supposed to do. It pressures the early game with the Ressurect mechanic and has plenty of mid to late game pressure to close out the game. I am currently at 50% (24 total games) win rate at rank 11.I streaked from rank 18 to rank 12, then I would oscillate between 12-10 playing this deck, and the only reason why that is because of the lack of card draw to find answers that are needed. For the most part, the deck is extremely fun to play and is a fresh-new experience that everyone should give a try before some of these cards our out of the Standard.

    • Game Play Tips and Experience:
      • One of my favorite things about the deck is to Shadowform a little early when I have Priest of the Feast and cheap spells because most people would see that and they over-extend on their resources to try to kill you as fast as possible. You get more value out of your Holy Nova and Excavated Evil when they over-extend. You can easily punish those types of plays and leave them starving for resources, but that time, you are already chipping away damage with your hero power and other minions on the board. You will get a lot of value from every cards in your deck. The game pretty much snow balls in your favor.
      • Against really aggressive match ups that do not have had removal (i.e. Hex or Polymorph) I personally like to mulligan for Priest of the Feast. You can snowball with it using Resurrect or Onyx Bishop and just easily win the game that way by just healing your way up and slowly chipping away life total. This is really good against Tempo Mages (that don't have Polymorph), Zoo, Aggro Pally, etc.
      • My favorite part of the deck is that this deck can switch out to a more of a midrange/control style of play. @end3r_hs makes a good point to recognize the best Entomb targets, such as Golden Monkey (not Elise Starseeker) or Azure Drakes for more card draw. The most memorable match ups are against Control Warrior where once I Shadowform early, I can chip away his armor, and eventually deal serious damage with Prophet Valen once the warrior has used their Execute and Shield Slam
      • The most important thing about this deck is to understand the meta. Utilize websites that give you this information to better understand key cards in those match-ups to use single-target removal accordingly. Use competitiveHS or tempo storm to know this information ahead of time and make sure not to waste your single-target removal, unless it is an emergency.
      • Which brings me to my next point, this deck has a sort of high-learning curve and difficult to play. There are a lot of little decisions to that will make or break the match-up but those same high-risk/high-reward plays are super satisfying, so prepare to be challenged as a player.
        • I recall playing against a Tempo Mage wanted to try out being greedy and waiting until turn four to play Priest of the Feast. I am really glad I did because all the Onyx Bishop's and Resurrect just snowballed out of control and my opponent basically used all the removal to kill my Priest of the Feast. Even though I had plenty of cheap spells to remove things from the board, I gambled on the Priest of the Feast snowball to guarantee because as you know, Tempo Mage has way too much burn.

Overall the deck is really fun and I hope people can give it a try. I will post some replays from the deck tracker or I suggest you watch end3r_hs stream to learn how to play the deck. It is a refreshing experience and will I am excited to see how the deck transcends in upcoming expansions.

    Cheers!

Chakki made a great suggestion in value Town; for the people who do not have an account, they chat should be off and (my twist on it) even if they have an account, leave it turned off until the user decides to leave it on permanently or on their own basis. This definitely prevents people from seeing things said in chat. Moreover, it doesn't compromise the freedom of speech of people. I am for freedom of speech, but I also get really annoyed with the things that people say (at least the over the top stuff that is explicitly said to do harm). I know twitch chat is just twitch chat, but people should be more conscious and considerate about what they say.

The real question is: Do you regret not pre-ordering 50 packs? Unless hearthstone is your entire life and play all day to stay competitive then good for you, but most of us who buy and play are professionals in their respective field who enjoy playing a game they do not mind spending money on.

Not many cards will be able to take advantage of this (in the context of standard); can definitely see a mid-range hunter flourish with card

    Polluted Hoarder

    Bloodmage Thalnos

    Sylvanas Windrunner

    Leper Gnome

    Huge Toad

well see what the rest of the set looks like...

Hearthstone is my first card game, and this is exactly why. So awesome that community is out there demonstrating that a card game is not just a game. A proud day for all of us statisticians, mathematicians, and/or anyone in a quantitative field.

I never thought android users would get salty over $4.99. If you want the new hero so bad then go to an Apple store, and ask the staff to download the game for you and buy it there.
