He's used in combo decks, primarily Mecha'Thun Priest. Any Mecha'thun deck can make use of him after drawing your combo pieces, might be able to also find a home in Holy Wrath Paladin.
Standard rotations happen with the first expansion of each year. It will not be with the next expansion happening in the fall of this year, but with the first expansion which would arrive likely in March or April of 2019.
Optimally you want to pull a large taunt first, such as Ironbark Protector, followed by other large taunts and Kel'Thuzad to revive them. The large taunts will prevent Chromaggus from attacking your Alarm-o-Bot.
The strategy that worked for me was a Druid deck consisting of big minions, Alarm-o-Bot, and Innervate. It requires a lot of resetting until you get the perfect mulligan that lets you Innervate Alarm-o-bot on turn 1. From there, draw big minions and keep playing Alarm-o-bot every time it bounces back into your hand. Works wonders using lots of other adventure cards like Chromaggus and Kel'Thuzad, as well as some big taunts.
If you play significantly more Paladin than anything else, Tirion is the go-to legendary. On a mid-Paladin he might end up fighting with Uther for a spot, but I've fit them both in control decks or slower midrange decks very well. True, they both occupy a high mana slot and your weapon, but having both gives you more flexibility. Tirion for while you're ahead or the opponent has little on the board, Uther when you're behind or really need to remove something.
Greetings. New forum user here, just got enough dust for my next legendary and I haven't been able to decide who to craft.
Mostly a paladin player, also plenty of warrior, warlock, and since mid Un'Goro, shaman. I like playing midrange/control decks with a lot of focus on dropping big minons. I'm not concerned with crafting a tier-1 deck so much as making something entertaining to play. Cards I've considered crafting:
Frost Lich Jaina - I like elementals flavor-wise, and already have Sindragosa, Pyros and N'Zoth, the Corruptor for theorycrafting a deathrattle elemental deck. I have most of the other Mage cards except for Archmage Antonidas, so if she's useful even in non-elemental decks, I'm still willing to use her.
Prince Keleseth - I loved the Grimy Goons mechanic but it's never been too viable. I like Goons, Elemental, and Zoolock decks, and with him, I'd be able to try the Kelemental Rogue decks I keep hearing about.

I forgot this card existed. Maybe this could see play in Wild with a Baku Mage? It works perfectly as removal with the upgraded hero power.

It's a Baku deck, so we can't use Rotface/Grom/Lich King.
Bull Dozer can be played with rush from Dr. Boom or The Boomship, and trade with another minion, leaving a large body on the board. If you need a taunt, try Sleepy Dragon or Giant Mastodon.
You'll be gaining a lot of armor with this deck, so Gorehowl or Supercollider are also worth a try.

My first golden craft. I'd love to start playing Wild again so I can combo mi-light-lord alongside Crystalsmith Kangor.

Warrior can use 2x Galvanizer to reduce Mecha'thun's cost by two, then Inner Rage + Execute.EDIT: Thanks for correcting me, execute only targets enemy minions.
There could be a possible combo using The Boomship with Mecha'thun, Spiritsinger Umbra, and Ticking Abomination. If Umbra's effect triggers the Abomination, then you only need to deal 1 damage to the Abomination, with hitting an enemy minion, or using Whirlwind or Inner Rage.

Scourgelord Garrosh - I like Control Warrior.
Bloodreaver Gul'dan - I like Warlock.
Those are the main four I'm considering, but I'm open to suggestions. I will not craft Patches the Pirate, and am hesitant to craft Malfurion the Pestilent or The Lich King.
