posted a message on [Dalaran Heist] Doppelgangster bugged?

That's really frustrating. There's been a couple things like that in the adventure that haven't made much sense. For example, the guy who gives you a coin and takes a copy of your minion (I think it was Gallywix) for some reason gets all the handbuffs or persistent buffs from the run on his copy despite that not being the case for any other copy effect in the game. That managed to cost me a run as I expected to be giving him a meh minion.

My first experience was actually really crappy. It increased the cost of a minion by 2. Other than that, it made a 1 cost minion free. It's mostly been terrible but it seems like others have gotten better results.

Here you go! I haven't found myself needing Devolve or Maelstrom Portal yet as I have yet to face a Paladin and haven't had issues with Big Priest but I would have to see how things go with more plays. I've only played around rank 10 so I don't yet have the experience with Murloc Shammy that you do.

Nice deck and guide! I've mostly been playing a more midrange refill version with the quest in it which I'm finding to be pretty unstoppable but generally goes into later game than this one would. May have to try out your variant.

He essentially gives you two extra heals provided you use the cards in combination with him. It's also dependent on Lucentbark being down for actually getting value. In my experience, I rarely drew the cards together and I often had Lucentbark later in my deck. Maybe I got really unlucky but I never even got to benefit from Stalladris at all despite trying to hold him for combos.

posted a message on Do you guys also find the meta insanely boring?

This is the most difficulty I've had with homebrewing in standard in the past few years. I'm finding it really hard to make viable decks as many of my favourite archetypes for each class got majorly crippled in the rotation. Despite new cards to help them out, Big Warrior, Prelate Paladin, and Pogo Rogue are in a pretty weak place.

OMG, never did I imagine that my Secret Hunter deck that I made a few weeks ago would blow up like this! <3  Very cool to see how the Secret Hunter archetype has evolved since my original list.  I 100% agree with everything Kripp said about the deck as well and performs very well against every class in the meta right now.  I hope everyone gets a chance to play this very fun deck!

If anyone is interested in the original list that kicked off the whole archetype: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1270593-61-wr-5-legend-secret-spell-hunter

Kicked off the archetype? Sorry but maybe you were the first to make it big this expansion but I played a list to wild legend as soon as boomsday started and secret hunter has been a regular addition to standard ever since boomsday.

Stalladris only works off of spells which IMO has makes it not that necessary in this deck. There's four cards total that synergize with it and you often don't draw them at the same time. Keeper of the Grove isn't all that great either, and two Predatory Instincts is a bad idea. I have yet to win with the deck and while I think it's a cool concept, there's a ton of cards that shouldn't really be making the cut.

IMO, the Dead Ringer would probably be the first to go. I just don't see much of a purpose in it, particularly since it can run out of targets whereas Loot Hoarder doesn't and you don't need a specific combo piece from your draw. IBM can be used for draw as well with Northshire and Circle or Regenerate. The purpose of Velen was less for the hero power and more for the Mind Blast or Regenerates for bigger hits. That being said, it is fairly slow so I get that it might not be a priority inclusion. I also feel like Divine Hymn is a bit too situational, particularly since it can't hit enemies.

I would suggest messing around with Clockwork Automaton. That sucker can really snowball if you can copy it. Also Injured Blademaster or Damaged Stegotron are interesting options for maintaining board presence while you're trying to get a combo together.

EDIT: Some other cool options are Shadowy Figure to copy the Shadequill deathrattle and then kill it off with Circle or Prophet Velen as he combos well with Mind Blast or an Auchenai + Regenerate. If you manage to stick an Auchenai to the board, you can do something like Velen + Vivid Nightmare + Double Regenerate for 24 damage. I may have to mess around with the idea myself as well.

Lol so Raiding Party costs 5 mana for a draw 2 with conditional third card? Yeah right. Try 4 mana and it would be balanced. Your prep nerf already hurts the synergy enough. Some of those other nerfs I would be okay with though.

Out of the 9 games I feel like nomi came into play about 3 or 4 of them. if they’re able to deal with the mechs and Kangors they’re usually unable handle the nomi right after so you can draw aggressively and start rolling out nomi with lots of cards still in hand.

Fair enough! If it happens that often then it's worth a shot.

It is generated From the spark drill it is a 1 mana rush that is easy to trade. Play it first and Use it to hold space on the board when you play nomi, then trade it off so you can play banker to keep chef. You can do this twice and get 3 full boards from nomi

That's actually a pretty smart interaction. That being said, I'm not sold on being able to get to fatigue with paladin. I would almost argue that your deck would be better off cutting some of the draw and the combo and putting more midrange cards in. I'd love to know how often you make it to fatigue though as it would help gauge the usefulness of the combo.

I'm confused. You're using two Bankers and Nomi just for the combo at the end of your deck? I very rarely make it to fatigue in games. Are you actually making it enough that it's worth committing three cards to that combo?
