The idea of these cards are, that the League of E.V.I.L. send in their spies in different part of Dalaran. In this case, Dr. Boom sends his spy to The Violet Hold, where as King Togwaggle sends his to The Underbelly. The idea is sort of similar to the Tar Creeper, Tar Lurker and Tar Lord theme. Even though these have the same card text, they serve a different purpose given their different mana cost.
Famous weapon wielded på Arthas Menethil... Until he gave it up for
Frostmourne
that is. The card is/has:
1. Has +2 Attack on your opponent's turn (Journey to Un'Goro).
2. Lifesteal (Knight's of the Frozen Throne).
3. Is a legendary weapon (Kobolds and Catacombs).
The card has no effect on your turn (without buffs), but on your opponent's turn, any character attacking your hero will recieve 2 damage and heal your hero for 2. Usually weapons aren't "active" on your opponent's turn, in case you're wondering what I mean by "... and is active..."
I like your first idea more, but isn't it OP since you can just give your opponent weak minion, "Can't attack" minion or Howlfiend? Maybe it should take control of only one enemy?
@Thezzy
Your cards are good, but maths flavor is kinda weak, also, maybe calculated strike needs to cost 3? It doesn't have too OP effect.
@OttawaCloset
Your flavor is same as @Demonxz95's? If not, i can't see how it fits the theme, only because of his name? Maybe you should relate it to infinity somehow.
@Inconspicuosaurus
Your card is pretty interesting and flavorful, i think you are ready!
My ideas reposted:
The first version is so neat. The sort of an "I-can't-be-arsed-to-do-this-myself"-card. Will see play in zoo without the battlecry. I'd vote for it.
EDIT: Second version is also great, and I'd also vote for that. Fun to see people trying to figure out the lethal.
Those who've played WoW have definitely tried being ganked og being the ganker. Stranglethorn Vale was one of the zones in which ganking was most popular, the very zone where Rastakhan's Rumble takes place. The idea is, that you're being ganked by this guy you never see coming, making sure you can't complete your quests. Ugh, so annoying. Thanks to all who've helped me tweak the card.
Playing both of this cards on turn 9 and turn 10 will shuffle a total of 6 spells to enemy's deck. Dilutes their deck but also delays fatigue for them.
Cheers! As for your card, I think there's something off. The idea is fine, but the art and name just doesn't do it for me. Is there any flavor that I'm missing?
I like new Jade Eater a lot and i'd probably go with him, but many people hate jades, so its risky. Magnetite Shard is interesting, but he is kinda weak compared to Annoy-o-Module. Haunted Dinobot is underpowered because in standart format there aren't many strong mechs you would like to give adaptations to, i'd lower cost to 2.
@Lathy
I really like your card, it is interesting and balanced. I think you are ready to go!
@CheeseEtc
I like Prince Tenris more, but he is OP, i think that it will be ok if you make him 5/5 for 5 and trigger his Battlecry with absence of 5-cost cards.
@MurderyUnicorn
Your card looks cool and balanced. But i'm worried about it being a slight powercreep of Pterrordax Hatchling.
Thanks! I see you posted your card already. I think it's incredibly strong being a start of turn effect. Other than that, it's good. Is it a self-made character, or is there any lore behind it?
Lathy, yesterday I forgot to give you the following advise - Why don't you give it stealth and remove 1 health from it?
The gankers in Stranglethorn were rogues, so by making this change, you will make your card more flavourful. Some people might compare it to the 5/5 tiger, but that minion has a beast tag and it's more beneficial in some classes (druid, hunter, menagerie zoo).
@ Teknician - I agree with you, that the third version is less flexible than the first one, but this doesn't change things. You are still buffing C'thun by a good amount while you are developing a board. And if I'm playing a control deck, I wouldn't mind summoning a minion weaker than its vanilla version for the paid price, cuz' as a control deck tempo doesn't matter. My win-condition is C'thun and I have to buff him as much as possible. This is why I prefer your middle card, it feels like the fairest one.
[edit] Come to think of it, people might not include this spell if they think it's too weak for their decks. So can you try to make something in the middle?
Brilliant idea. I've changed the wording slightly to make the card look better.
Lathy Love the flavour, though I'm not really convinced that this should have vanilla stats. I know that the effect is a niche one, but this looks like a power-creeped Pit Fighter and I'm not ok with it. Anyway, I think this minion shouldn't be a legendary as another user suggested. Maybe an epic, but definitely not a Legendary, because it seems too weak as a such and will only make people mad, if they open it from their packs. Also, there are many gankers in Stranglethorn, not just one.
Cheers Mate. I might up the rarity to rare/epic as suggested. I can understand your thought of it being a Power Creep of Pit Fighter, but it's a card that would never see play in constructed, making it only useable in arena. Stranglethorn Ganker should be just the same in arena. I know they're class cards, but Ethereal Peddler and Drakonid Operative (and Usher of Souls for that matter) have a way more powerful effect than this card.
I think the most pronounced example are found in the 3-mana 3/4 category. The "initial" one being Spider Tank. Yes, it has the Mech-tag, but if we count that as a solely beneficial tag, Nightmare Amalgam is a strict power creep of that. I'd argue that Blackwald Pixie, Augmented Elekk, Untamed Beastmaster etc, are power creeps of Spider Tank, even though I know they're not, as they serve a different purpose. That might be a slight counter-argument to my point, but it really comes to show that Pit Fighter honestly didn't serve no purpose whatsoever, and would never see play in a constructed game ever, which is why I think the 5/6 vanilla stats on Stranglethorn Ganker is justified.
Those who've played WoW probably get the reference. We've all tried being ganked by someone, especially in Stranglethorn Vale (where Rastakhan's Rumble takes place), slowing down our questing and leveling. Ugh, that was so annoying. Found it quite fitting with Overkill. In addition, the effect is very niche, so I think it deserves vanilla stats.
Amazing card. Minor nitpick is that a unique effect such as that should belong to a Legendary
Cheers Mate. I see your point with the unique effect. The reason I've made it common is simply because I don't find the effect game-changing, and I don't really think it deserves Legendary status.
As for your card, self-upgrading bot is very flavorful and a neat effect. Don't think you need to change anything.

I'm not sure if these are too strong?

I find it extremely difficult to match the name of the card with a prober card text to make the card become flavorful :P
Puns I have so far, admitted, some are quite bad:
1. A Cute Angel
2. Count Dracula
3. Algaebro(s)
4. I Can't Even... (Destroy an odd-cost minion?).

Self-Upgrading Bot and Fertile Bunny for me :)

Congratulations on your future win, it's well deserved!
Not the biggest fan of Jade Eater, mainly because I think jades are a bit bland.
Haunted Dinobot has potential, but I do prefer Magnetit Shard. It has great flavour, and seems to be playable unlike that Silvermoon guy.
