Both Confess and Dark Iron Miner have less votes than my submission on first page: Backrow Spectator, why is mine not on the poll though? My card has 15 upvotes.
Also Moira Bronzebeard is not on the poll either.
EDIT: Dark Iron Enforcer also only have 7 upvotes only, Dark Iron Justice only have 10 upvotes,
Cause you were on the first page. Not calculated by votes, but a score you get from total nummer of posts on that page.
I dont get how total number of posts have to do with the votes? The total number of posts are 20 on each page.

Hearthstone fanbase obsession with tilting tech cards issomething I never really understand? Shipwrecked Buccaneer?Seriously? All other cards in the top 10 are way better flavour wise than that card.
Thanks
Trying to be sarcastic get you no where my friend. Almost eveyrone would run a 3 mana 3/2 and give a flare in your hand :just to draw an extra card and hopefully cash in on breaking the secrets.
I was actually just trying to state I'd read your comment without going into further detail, but now I will.
You might be right that it could be a card a lot of decks would use, I'm not arguing with that. I made this card, I'd estimate 2 years ago(?), and thought it would fit great for this competition. It has nothing to do with hunters being strong right, so actually not ment as a tech card, but merely created for flavour. You've clearly just seen yourself mad at the card (or the person?) for some reason, if you can't see the flavour. I'd argue there are better cards than mine, but flavourwise, there's definitely not 10 cards better than this. Not sorry if that sounded arrogant.

It's basically useless against the Priest or Warlock, but stealing an Aluneth or Woecleaver could be fun.
Aluneth is granted and depending on who you're playing as i.e Druid or Rogue you can use Piest's Dragonstone pretty effectively, you wont get a for sure wocleaver tohugh since Warrior has access to many other weapons and even Molten Blade as an all time low roll.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, as I decided to submit something completely different :)
Where is the difference between a simple design and a bland one. I'm one of the people, that liked your "Spirit Cleanser", since it wasn't complicated and very flavourful. I remember how in a past WCDC (dedicated to poisonous minions) Shadow made a 0 mana 0/2 Poison Ivy and it also attracted many people's attention thx to its simple design. I'm asking because I would like to know what to consider, when I design similar cards.
I'm not sure I can correctly explain it myself, it's mostly intuitive, from a bit of introspection I'd say the difference between bland and simple-but-effective (SBE) is:
SBE has awesome flavor to complement the effect
SBE has a strategical utility and can bring new archetypes to the game, or reinforce existing but bad ones
SBE features a mechanic that is generally appreciated by players, or that they would like to see more
SBE has good art.
I think this is pretty much on point. Especially the first two seem to be the case. Just Imagine a card like Nesting Roc (not the best example, but it's what I can think of now). If it said "Battlecry: If you hold at least two spells, gain Taunt." - It's easier to accomplish (maybe?), but lacks every bit of flavour. I really think falvour gets you far.
Oh and Kovachut, I couldn't help but give you a vote, mainly because of the "flavour text" :D
I got this one so far. A little rework of one of my earlier cards.
Nice flavour, though the power level might be a problem. It's really powerful being able to play a minion (a pirate, mind you) with a separate spell that can destroy all enemy secrets and draw you a card. If this were to exist it would cost more.
On the other hand, it's just a way more powerful Chief Inspector. Aside fromt he flavour, I don't really find it that different. Though, that's just me.
Thanks for the advice man! It's essentially a 3/2 remove all secrets + draw a card, while Chief Inspector is a 4/6 that doesn't draw a card. The 1/4 statline is compareable ti a card draw, if not somewhat better. The thing that makes this card extra good is that you can drop something on the board, and then decide when you want to play the Flare, but also telling your opponent, that you have it in hand.
This theme is hard, man. The best I can think of is stuff like this. And it's not very good.
Cheers for the feedback!
As for your card: I like the flavour, but I think a card very close to this won some time ago? Except it was a librarian and not an owl. That doesn't meen, that you can't post this one ;)
The class is inspired by the idea of a general and a strategist using force and cunning to win his battles. Warchief might be better, but I felt like it would be to similar to Warrior (I know Thrall is a Shaman), and I felt like Hearthstone needed a Tauren hero.
So how does the Hero Power work? I think the picture below will tell it, but to explain it a bit further: Obviously, the minion targeted gains +1 Attack. The Officer tag is showcased where the tribe is shown. So does a minion with a tribe lose its original tag? Yes. This, in addition to the +1 Attack, make it more playable by other classes (Sir Finley Mrrgglton), as they can use it to obstruct tribe-synergy.

The cards below are just pretty random, showing a little synergy, and are from different sets with different rarities. I'm not certain if some of these cards are broken, especially thinkin of Operation Icecrown, but I can't come to think of why they should be.
And of course the Death Knight because... they're pretty cool (and annoying).

Based of the WoW proffession Enchant. You also gained the ability to Disenchant items, destroying them granting you dust to make you more powerful.
EDIT: Reduced its cost from 4 to 3. Thanks to Kovachut for helping with the balance.

I actually wanted to make an overkill effect, but Blizzard stated that they'd always have binary outcome, so unfortunately that wont fit in the game.
