You might laugh at me but turn 4 Ticking Abomination into this is a very strong stat play (assuming the meta really slows down a bit)

Horkinger posted a message on Best Overall Card in Hearthstone?Posted in: Card DiscussionIn my opinion there are only two cards that fit in nearly every deck. Piloted Shredder and Dr. Boom. And since shredder is the cheaper one, I'd go with him.

Horkinger posted a message on New Hunter Card Reveal - Corpse WidowPosted in: Card DiscussionDoes this work with Explorer's Hat?
The hat is a spell, not a deathrattle card. So I don't think so. -

Inconspicuosaurus posted a message on So BGH is "unhealthy"Posted in: Card DiscussionQuote from Kanekinumb >>So bgh is unhealthy but dr.boom or MC aren't?
Dr. Boom is moving to Wild and also doesn't directly limit the design space of other cards. MC is going to be a lot less viable when Paladin loses the rest of its perfect curve (ie: Muster, Minibot, Coghammer). Even if it wasn't, it is, if anything, "healthy" in the way that Blizzard usually use it because it promotes the inclusion of cards that were previously not played. -

RavenSunHP posted a message on Ok, so what ISN'T cancer?Posted in: General DiscussionPersonally, I consider cancer a relatively cheap and easy deck that can easily spread across the community, making games against them repetitive and boring, on the verge of hopelessness.
C'thun archetype is possibly cancer, only difference being that even if it becomes widespread, it is not truly brainless. So it should not become boring, hopefully.
Facehunter was definitely cancer, cheap, effective, widespread and almost brainless = boring.
C'thun is cheap (in its basic but yet good version at least), effective, widespread but not brainless =/= boring.
Evo-Shaman is also potentially cancerous, but the quantity of RNG involved might make it fun enough and not brainless/boring to play with or against.

It could be strong, but dull. No dk theme, no nothing. Just powerful rng.
I expected a frost witch or something mechanics...

Kovachut posted a message on New Rogue Minion - Elven MinstrelPosted in: Card DiscussionI like it a lot
Don't know how popular will he be in this meta, but it's a good card in general.
The combo requirement isn't that hard to do. This is like an Arcane Intellect (with the combo conditional, fine) for 2 mana + a 2 mana 3/2 body. Like the streamer said - it's nor your every day tempo card, but I would use this in my jade rogue the least.

Inconspicuosaurus posted a message on Herald VolazjPosted in: Herald VolazjI mentioned Velen, but if it copies Velen and Maly, and then you play two Mindblasts... that is 120 damage my friend. Control Warrior or not, the other guy's dead.
(5 base dmg, +10 from two Malys, *4 from two Velens = 60, and you have two Mindblasts)

A midrange elemental mage with Frost Lich Jaina as a late game value card. It might be decent but burn mage is probably always going to be better. That said, with all these DKs providing armor maybe burn is a little less effective overall.
Midrange Demonlock with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. There just aren't enough good demons, specifically good taunt demons.
Self damaging tempo warrior with Scourgelord Garrosh. There aren't enough tools in standard to give it the sustained power that it needs. I'm likely going to look to Wild for things like Grim Patron and Death's Bite.
Edit: Spelling on new cards.

This is inherently good in Paladin and Shaman due to their token generating hero powers, but that's not all...
1) Paladin can also abuse the buff with Divine Shield minions (this + Righteous Protector is disgusting), not to mention the potential for massive healing on Wickerflame Burnbristle and Corpsetaker.
2) It can make previously easy to trade into totems (Primalfin Totem, Mana Tide Totem, Flametongue Totem) a threat in their own right. It's especially great on persistent effect minions like Mana Tide because it will often force your opponent to decide which target they want to take down, giving the other minion continued value from it's effect.
3) Great on 'high health, low attack' minions as it take advantage of their potential for multiple trades. This perfectly lines up with Taunt minions because they typically have that stat distribution and also protect the Scalebane from minion attacks. If you can hide this behind taunts for even a couple of turns it can be game winning. This might even see play in Taunt Warrior for that reason.
4) As a fringe case, it's one of the only decent ways to buff the attack of minions in Mage which has interesting implications given the introduction of Frost Lich Jaina.
This card is SOLID.

Some decent synergies there, but I'm confused by your inclusion of Dead Man's Hand - it's an anti-fatigue card, not at all tempo. I might also suggest Cruel Taskmaster or Inner Rage.

Hmm, they look like two sides of the same coin, one good and the other evil. I'm officially intrigued.

The theme of the original 9 heroes being turned into DKs is at the core of the set identity, I don't think they'll break with that. The Arthas skin is a reward for completing the final boss battle with all classes, so most players won't actually get it - it's a special side option for more committed players.
Edit: that said, they could make him a Hero card. Then the Arthas into Lich King transition would still fit within the way they've built the set, more or less.

It'll more likely be Coldarra Drake + Raza the Chained + Void Form from Shadowreaper Anduin I think, given the power of the new Priest DK Hero.
