Yeah, this is an annoying part of having both the current standard set up + already having the data for the new set. It will be conflicting till we rotate the Classic set.
3 sets is a bit overkill though, it should be 2 sets. I'll get that looked at. I think our latest import falsely imported the Core set again instead of overwriting it.
It will be fixed.

Not to worry... Blizzard's official library actually has more or less the same problem XD
I think one of the duplicates is meant for the new classic format? maybe those cards should be hidden unless you make a classic format specific deck
Last I heard the idea was to implement things with a checkmark, much like we have for Standard that will limit to only Classic cards for the Classic game mode that's coming.
I assume that this will then hide the Classic set cards from view in other segments.
Not sure what the idea for Wild is though where we will have Core set and Legacy set. That's going to be trickier I assume.
Devs on the job though. :)

Polar bear is obviously the best in terms of size, Grizzly reigns supreme in terms of raw power, and the black bear is a craftiest little bugger of the bunch.
In conclusion, panda bears are hot garbage. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Whoa wtf, Pandas are literally the weirdest bears. They’re built like carnivores but eat almost exclusively bamboo. They’re like some sort of esoteric ascetic monk in bear form.

I'm glad that now the actual issue in OP's post is solved, we can just start talking about actual bears.
I also agree about pandas. They are perhaps the dumbest of the bears, but the strangest and most interesting to watch sometimes.
I do agree that Panda’s offer a degree of fascination due to their peculiarity, particularly with their adaptation to an environment that seems biologically contradictory.. that said, in response to “which bear is best”, pandas are again hot garbage. In comparison to the rest of my personally beloved Ursarine species, they bring very little to the table aside from novelty and niche admiration. Watch any of the countless videos of Asian zoo workers working with pandas, all of which demonstrate a loveable buffoon that paradoxically survives off nutrient deficient bamboo in insane quantities to survive.
I think to be fair, we need to define rules to categorize the bears and rank them by statistics.
I mean, are we just throwing two bears in a ring and letting them fight it out, calling the winner the best bear? Or are we going to look at their ability to survive in the wild, their overall numbers across the globe, how much they can eat or physically how big they are?
When I clicked on this thread, I was expecting to be talking about Hearthstone bears and the ranking thereof. Imagine my disappointment when y'all were limiting yourselves to polars and pandas!
So I went ahead and scoured the collection for bear-type cards so that we can get down to some REAL (fake) ursine business:
There may be some tokens I missed, so if there's one you know of, just let me know and I can edit! Also, I only went with Minion cards, because trying to get all the spells that feature bears on them didn't seem right.
For my money, the Best Bear is the Anodized Robo Cub. So cute! So versatile! So artificial!

I totally forgot about FurBOLGs until seeing this one here... I definitely think this one is cool, because it's a magic bear. Also, have they been completely underrepresented in HS or is this list missing more of these guys?
Also, their name is fun to say.
Fur-BOLG.

Spoke to the devs. It is actually an accurate picture with 3 sets.
1 is Classic, in use in Standard right now
1 is the new Core set
1 is the Legacy set
No ETA on when we might be able to straighten this out a little more.

Well, that’s debatable.
Gummi Bear Is The Best. In vast amounts, of course.
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664
Polar bear IMO
My custom expansion: Game of Thrones
Well, that's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought.
Polar bear is obviously the best in terms of size, Grizzly reigns supreme in terms of raw power, and the black bear is a craftiest little bugger of the bunch.
In conclusion, panda bears are hot garbage. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I beg you, please read this short funny story and tell me if you feel the same after: https://fivedials.com/reportage/radical-bears-forest-delicious
I personally like sun bears the most to be honest, they look uglily cute...

OP here saying that I fully endorse the transition of this thread to a discussion of bear viability and tier placement in the hearthstone universe.
