I think 16 may be a bit excessive, or (more likely) it was misinterpreted and minions such as Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and Ancient Shieldbearer are counted towards that 16
Personally, I think there will be a class specific C'Thun card for all 9 classes, and then 7 neutral minions 1-7 mana that will buff him.
I am curious on what you guys think the remaining C'Thun card may be like, or what you would like to see from them, and even what you think of the ones released so far. Really this is just for us to discuss what we think of C'Thun and his cult. ALL HAIL C'THUN!!!
And so far C'Thun is the only one, whose effect feels like an old god's.
I mean N'Zoth is pretty cool and potentially game-winning but his effect is pretty straightforward for an Old God (eg no imagination). Y'Shaarj looks like a worse Varyan Wrynn (and again no imagination in the effect).

I dunno, resurrecting a bunch of dead minions seems fairly Old-Goddish to me.
But I agree that Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound is a little on the bland side, even though I feel you're underestimating his power.
Well, regarding the cultists, I can say that they unless they are more inspired than vanilla stats with the same old battlecry as Beckoner of Evil and Skeram Cultist it'll likely be labeled a noob deck. Twilight Elder and C'Thun's Chosen are great though, fun and a little different.
For the remaining Neutrals I'm hoping for something like "At the start of you turn, Give your C'thun +2/+2", making it bait for removal. The Class cards will hopefully play with class themes a little more, like Ancient Shieldbearer does, but Klaxxi Amber-Weaver does not. In fact Klaxxi Amber-Weaver actually lends itself to Priest more than Druid.
I don't care about Ya Sha Raaj effect I am just disappointed that there are no sha involved with him. This is the only thing that makes me angry and sad at the same time. Like hell I won't ever play this card just because blizz is truly raping the original world of warcraft lore...

We haven't even seen a third of the set yet, don't give up hope!

I agree, I think the current cards are pretty vanilla. I want to see some cool cards to mix it up... 2 things I am thinking is a priest minion that would actually decrease an opponents C'Thun. I think that would be a neat mechanic for a control priest. The other was a 1-mana deathrattle that would buff C'Thun by +1/+1. It would just be a bit different from the battlecries we have gotten so far. I even think this minion could be corrupted... A corrupted Lightwarden called Warden of Darkness or something like that

First of all, lol.
Second of all, don't be so quick to be disappointed. Its not difficult to be upset at something. It's quite possible the Sha will also involve minions you'd want to bring out (or debuffs somehow related to Y'shaarj). Y'shaarj's final breath was to lay a curse on the land, and hear at the end of each turn he presents a massive threat. That's relatively in line. Big end, power. They also didn't make him a deathrattle minion, so you couldn't bring him back with N'Zoth.
This is the first time we really get to toy with and play with the Old Gods, clearly unhindered. If anything, this is the kind of exploration of lore that is incredible welcome!
Everybody wants big, flashy, complicated effects for old gods, but that's not what we need. What we need is solid, intimidating, and dangerous. Can you imagine the kind of prepwork you need to do to prepare for a large minion-based deck bringing out Y'shaarj? How big of a looming threat N'zoth is? Hell, C'thun is the least impactful of the old gods, his cards are there to make him impactful.
All in all, so far they're hitting the nail on the head. Look at this from an in game perspective, and from a stretch rather than a direct recital of lore we've already seen, and things start to look way better.

Lol overreaction much?
We haven't seen the full set yet, there might be sha cards that interact with Y'shaarj in some way.
Also, the game is non cannonical, none of the lore is being "raped". The world isn't coming to an end, and Ben Brode isn't some evil force destroying your favorite lore. Go back to reading warcraft chronicles, it'll make you feel better.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
It is very clearly meant to be a noob deck. Everyone gets C'Thun and Beckoner of Evil for free. They want noobs to have an accessible way to participate.
We don't go skiing and complain that the green slopes are too easy and boring. Same applies here.

That was already clear to me, but I'll rephrase what I said. "If the cultist minions are all this vanilla and boring then it'll be considered exclusively a noob archetype." Noob decks don't have to be completely boring and without flavour... after all, the Hearthstone tagline is "deceptively simple, insanely fun."

Point taken, but think of this this way: A big chunk of the Control Warrior deck is some combination of "gain armor," "draw a card," and "here's a weapon." He couldn't live without those things, but they aren't terribly interesting or difficult to play. It's the other stuff you include that makes it not a noob deck.

I don't really understand why people say the C'thun cards so far revealed are even good except C'Thun's Chosen all the other cards have vanilla stats the class cards are good if you can activate the effect but the neutral ones are River Crocolisk,Spider Tank and a reversed worse Boulderfist Ogre, There are yet 10 cultists to be reveled but if every class gets a cultist that's only other 3 neutral ones and if the rest can't benefit enough from C'thun buffing you will get outvalued easily by every other deck.
I have no doubt that if you get to turn 10 with a 20/20 C'thun you probably win the game on spot.. the point is.. getting there.
I hope C'thun deck will be a thing after all, but if blizzard only release vanilla minions + 1 card per class with "if C'thun has 10 attack do something useful" then it will be inspire v2

Are you referring to 'core cards' versus tech choices, addressing the meta and whatnot?
If so then that's 100% going to happen in any C'thun deck I build. C'thun is just more restrictive regarding the 'core cards' that you have to put in the deck. The fact that there are so many cultists (likely 7 neutrals) means that there's some room to maneuver though. Just how restrictive C'thun is depends heavily on the remaining cultists, which is why I'm so eager to see flavourful designs.

I think a good deal of C'thun decks and how they play out will be based heavily on what class plays them. At this point I feel like C'thun Rogue will be very dangerous, and difficult to play, not really basic at all.

When WOG was leaked, it was said there would be 16 minions that would buff C'Thun's Attack and Health.
So far there have only been 4 (Beckoner of Evil, Twilight Elder, C'Thun's Chosen, and Skeram Cultist) These minions are a 2, 3, 4, and 6 drop.
I think 16 may be a bit excessive, or (more likely) it was misinterpreted and minions such as Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and Ancient Shieldbearer are counted towards that 16

All hail mighty C'thun, the herald of the end and the awakener of our master C'thulu, dead but dreaming in his mighty palace beneath the sea...
Yeah, Y'Shaarj is kind of bland, but I think that he's gonna end up being pretty powerful, despite his bland-ness.
