The quest mage nerf does nothing, while the "Darkest Hour nerf" kills Mechathun lock. Also:
"Fixed a bug where Zephrys the Great would not offer a lethal option if your hero had a large amount of Attack."
I guess this means he will always offer Doomhammer lethal if possible.
It doesn't kill Mech'thun lock. Instead of going Bloodbloom route you will execute the following play once your deck is empty and you have Kael and Mech'thun in hand:
I guess it works but you need to hold more combo pieces which makes the deck more inconsistent.
True which is why I go with Valdris Felforge not only to dick through my deck quicker but also to extend my hand limit so that I can hold on to all those combo pieces lol
Time to craft Res Priest then? Albatross still in game, DH a bit weaker, so it's easier to beat. Galakrond Warlock will probably be less popular with Sac Pact nerfed. Everything screams "Res Priest".
Open the Waygate nerf is a joke. 2 more spell is nothing
i had a game today where mage had its quest done on turn 3 !
they need to nerf it to like cast 6 spell that cost 3 or more. or nerf that bitch 2 mana minion
i love when they cast like 10-15 spells is a turn with thet pew pew dealing 20-30 damage and still they have a full hand of spells with that shit elemental AND a extra fucking turn or TOW!
also rip standard with this nerfs. they nerfed the main dack(or card) keeping DH in check and they did't hit DH hard enough.
I think this means Rogue rises which demolishes Res Priest. We will see.
I wonder how so? DH still the best deck in the meta, even stronger against Galakrond Warlock, because they lost Sac Pact. Only Priest is a bit better, because even though laughable, these are still nerfs so Priest has a bit better time (and Lock was a bit unfavorable match-up).
It will most likely be top deck DH, nothing, nothing, nothing, Priest, then rest.
Heh heh heh heh. Ohh warlocks, you are truly not prepared.
Vengeance Is Mine
Finally priestess can see the play she so deserves again.
RIGHT!? She's absolutely, without a doubt, the best card in DH and nobody could play her because they would get rekt by sac pact. I'm so stoked to re-tool my DH deck to once again include her.
As for the other nerfs...Altruis seems fine. It doesn't change what the card can do on a surface level, it just makes it harder for those turns to come out quite as early. Buffing his attack was basically pointless because I have played like 225 games with DH and I can remember only like 3 or 4 times that my Altruis actually attacked.
Battlefiend is now pretty much unplayable. Battlefiend pretty much never survives more than 2 turns anyway so they've basically made it worse than the neutral 2/2 1 drop like 90% of the time.
Glaivebound Adept nerf is fine. Honestly, the power of the card is in the 4 damage battlecry. The damage the card does when attacking is largely moot because nobody ever lets it hit their face and, when it does, 6 damage is basically just as chunky as 7. This is an almost negligible nerf.
Frenzied Felwing nerf is a tough one to balance because if the mana cost was increased the card would just be unplayable. Yet, making it die to board clears like immolation aura, holy nova, consecration, breath of the infinite, starfall and explosive trap might also make it unplayable. If you draw one or two of these guys early then you have no choice but to empty your hand and flood the board. Now, if you did that, you would get utterly rekt by any class that can do a 2 damage aoe (pretty much all of them).

Priest exists and this much is enough not to run Frenzied Felwing anymore. 4 cheap AoEs, all dealing 2 damage, in the deck.
And I honestly expect Priest to be 2nd in competition now, once Lock is a bit weaker.

I'm predicting DH will transition from tempo aggro to tempo midrange and will include priestess and raging felscreamer now. I actually think battlefield will still be fine as it still must be answered or it goes off. Neutral one drop and frenzied will be cut, and perhaps even the twin slice altruis package to make way for a slightly heavier deck. It's hard to say at this point, but I could see it.
Bottom line for me is I can't wait to face warlock now where they can't blow you out with a single card that should've been changed years ago. Now they will have to actually answer her fairly rather than playing a 600% cheaper siphon soul that heals for more.
Still amazes me that people actually defended sac pact in a world where a class other than warlock plays demons.

NICE DEMON HUNTER NERFS KEKW
Kael'thas to 7? Can now be fetched with Juicy Psychmelon? Neat buff!
Only way Open the Waygate nerfs would be even close to balanced is if they made it 10-12 spells. Absolutely pathetic nerf. 2 more spells is nothing.
Albatross gone from Meta + DH Nerfs = YAY for yet ANOTHER highly toxic Cheat Roque Meta, they are already starting to dominate again.
*Yawn*, wake me up for teh next expansion.
Priestess of Fury is going to be scary.
I'm still concerned about kael'thas.
Does Res Priest even play Albatross anymore?
Really glad that my boy Altruis still goes face and is now safe from Shadow Word Pain ^_^
I'm not gonna lie, I really have my doubts about these nerfs, but I guess the only thing we can do now is wait till they are implemented. :P

If you include something else that Psychmelon can pull out, like Malygos or Ysera Unleashed, it actually might be.

No more defeating Lord Jaraxxus with Sacrificial Pact :(
Don't worry, nobody plays him anyway...
XD oh yes they are not!
Some people: Galakrond Warlock will be weaker with Sac Pact nerfed.
Me: TRIFLING GNOME! YOUR ARROGANCE WILL BE YOUR UNDOING!!!!
