Only shaving off a single attack is not nearly enough of a nerf. Faceless is so overpowered atm that you could nerf the mana cost and the stat line and it would still be considered a very powerful card.
Something like this is would be balanced, while still being playable and strong.

Blizzard usually changes the stats of a minion or the mana cost, but not both.
To everyone thinking that Galakrond is the problem, I would beg to differ on that part. For me, it's the eerily consistent way in which they can Invoke, and thus upgrade him. And it's Shudderwock. All of the other classes struggle really hard to upgrade Galakrond, and we're not even discussing the Quest now, which allows Shaman to fully upgrade him when playing Elementalist.
However, the deck has some solid counters on ladder now, as it's very weak when it loses board control. Decks like Control Warrior, Quest Hunter and even Dragon Handlock have had some good success. But if Shaman draws the nuts (Invocation of Frost into Devoted Maniac into Corrupt Elementalist into Dragon Pack into Galakrond), you're done. That goes for many other decks however, Deathrattle Rogue being a real culprit in that sense.
So, keeping in mind that the deck has already dwindled down in winrate, I would like to see these changes, not limited to Shaman. Most notably, I'm not only looking for changes in stats:
Corrupt Elementalist: 4-mana, 3/3, Invoke Galakrond. (The double Invoke is just mental, and Shaman should not have this ability, out of all classes, particularly due to the Quest.
Shudderwock will read "Battlecry: Repeat all your minions' Battlecries you've played this game."
Heart of Vir'naal: Your first Battlecry this turn will trigger twice.
Faceless Corruptor: 7-mana, 5/4. (As clarification, I don't think they'll make it 6-mana purely because of Even Shaman in Wild.)
Necrium Apothecary: 5-mana, 2/6. (If they don't tackle this now, it's going to run rampant when Shaman drops).

I am shocked how OP Galakrond shaman is, I underestimated it's power. That said, I expect 3 or 4 of it's cards to be hit. I also expect 2 or 3 neutral cards to be hit, faceless corruptor being the obvious choice. I think Blizz will nerf a pirate as well because PW is broken in both formats.
I also expect one of the new pirates to get a hit as well as some other neutral or class card. In total, around 6 cards should get nerfed and we may find out as early as tomorrow!
Faceless Corrupter is powerful for EVERYONE, so I'm okay with it staying the same.
Except it's not. Some classes (like shaman and rogue) generate tokens more easily, to take full advantage of Faceless Corruptor. Also, many spell heavy decks, control decks, combo decks etc. don't want this, even if it is OP.
If many decks don't want this then it is not OP, even if it's OP :)

My bad. I guess Patches the Pirate was fine then, since only aggressive decks played him? And someone should tell Blizzard to bring back Genn and Baku, since a lot of decks didn't want them either and so they weren't "really" OP... lol.
It is not a shaman card. It is used in other decks too and it is fine as it is. Just target the stupid Galakrond related cards
It's not fine. And if you think it is, I don't understand where you've been for the last week. According to HSReplay, it's currently being played with at least one copy in more than half the decks on ladder. It's like Zilliax, only murder-y and not a legendary.

I was waiting for this joke lol
Dragon's Pack to gain +2+2 OR up to 6 mana.
Faceless Corruptor to 3/3
Corrupt Elementalist to 6 mana.
Mogu Fleshshaper 3/3 and something changed on the mana cheating (whether a higher cost, or only consider friendly/enemy minions on the discount).
I don't think Galakrond and the quest will be touched. At most Galakrond at max level summons 6/6s and the quest gets bumped to 8 battlecries.
Blizzard usually changes the stats of a minion or the mana cost, but not both.
all this nerf i see here will make galakrond shaman under 45% win rates lol
I'm perfectly fine with that. Kill it. Kill it with fire.

Corrupt Elementalist goes from 5 mana 3/3 Invoke twice to 4 mana 3/4 Invoke once
Mogu Fleshshaper goes from 7 to 8 mana
The Dragon Pack wolves get +2/+2 instead of +3/+3
I think this will keep the deck tier 1 instead of tier 0 like it is now

Corrupt Elementalist to become 6 mana
Faceless Corruptor also gets bumped to 6 mana
Dragon's Pack either gains 2 overload or buff reduced to 2/2
Corrupt the Waters play 8 battlecry cards
I also expect one of the new pirates to get a hit as well as some other neutral or class card. In total, around 6 cards should get nerfed and we may find out as early as tomorrow!
Corrupted Elementalist will be dropped to 4 mana but only invoke once.
mogu flash shaper will only be discounted by enemy minions
galakrond will only summon 6/6 elementals
quest will only effect minions maybe increased to 8 battlecries.
faceless corruptor down to a 4/4 and copies won’t have rush

I am starting to look a bigger picture... I am start to thing one of big mistakes of blizzard that drove us here is the introduction of Lakeys.
i fell like they repeated the Jade golem mess but with wider way interactions and ways to fuck around.
I wonder how would be the game if they never introduce them. Not sure if worse or better.
I think the changes will go as fellow:
Galakrond max Battlecry: 8/8 rush -> 6/6 no rush
Galakrond Hero Power: "Summon a 1/1 with rush.
Shudderwock: Added text: "This minions cost can't be lowered".
Quest (Corrupt the waters): 6 Battlecries -> 10 Battlecries.
Mogu Fleshshaper: 3/4 -> 3/3. (Increasing mana cost only BUFFS the combo with mutate/evolve, it's best to nerf this by changing the stats.)
Faceless Corruptor: 5 Mana 5/4 -> 6 Mana 4/3
Corrupt Elementalist: + Overload 2.
Dragon's Pack: +2/+2 instead of +3/+3
:( Dragonqueen Alexstrasza:"Add 2 random dragons to your hand, they cost (1)".
Ancharrr: 3 mana 2/3 weapon -> 3 mana 2/2 weapon.
Why are you targeting Faceless Corruptor?
It is not a shaman card. It is used in other decks too and it is fine as it is. Just target the stupid Galakrond related cards

Add overload to Dragons Pack (2 Overload) and Corrupt Elementalist (1 Overload) .. will fix it
I have a feeling they might get Edwin this time also, with rogue being one of the classes waiting in the wings after shaman gets destroyed.
