Player since Naxx, I never seen as many Leeroy as in this meta... Put him everywhere fellas!! Even control deck can include this as a finisher; it's better than many others legendaries...
His mustache deserve a special place in the Hall of Fame am I right?!
when a deck is a strong as tempo rogue is, you start to feel like every card is broken. Stuff like Leeroy and Sap aren't broken but they "feel" like it when rogue is already so far ahead after slapping your shit.
It's the raiding party package that tips rogue over the edge. raiding party draws you great tempo cards with great synergy that curves out perfectly. Think about how good master's call made midrange hunter, now consider if you could play every one of the cards you draw over the next two turns and have them all be hugely impactful.
Leeroy is an old man, an old taste, a disused strategy. He smacked so many faces in rogue, warlock; I've seen him in token druid, aggro hunt, pirate warrior,...

Never seen him in any control deck. What are you on?
His mustache deserve a special place in the Hall of Fame am I right?!
No. Enough already with the “HoF this card I just lost against” whining.
All the people saying Jenkins isn't a control card obviously never played it as a 10-28 damage finisher in Handlock with Power Overwhelming, Faceless Manipulator and Emporer. That stole games.
I don't think that Leeroy is the current problem, but he's always on the fringe if it.
Please somebody whine of Captain Greenskin too, so we can call it a day.
On a more serious note: there is a problem with Rogue in Standard. It's pretty obvious (as it should have been to the devs when they were designing Waggle Pick for a class/deck that was already pretty strong, but that is another story...).
But do you really think opening a new thread each other day about a new card to cry about can serve any REAL purpose?
"This card is the problem". "That card is the problem". Without any systemic argument ofc, about what is the reason. It's all just crying at impactful cards...
PS: Leeroy Jenkins undergoes periodical outcries for nerf, whenever Aggro becomes popular, to fall forgotten for the time being whenever the meta shifts in a different direction: isn't that enough to show Leeroy is NOT a problem, just the cherry on top?
I have to agree. Leeroy is the problem. It Just provides too much extra reach for aggro decks. He is very easy to combo and impossible to play around. Many streamers like kripp and toast already said that Leeroy needs to be dealt with.
Shadow step costing 0 mana is also problematic, but it at least compensates by the fact that it's completely dead card if u have nothing to bounce.
The real problem is indeed raiding party and probably a waggle pick. Mana cost increase could help, making those cards purely mid-late game options where ur opponent can better deal with them.
Regardless if he is a problem or not, I think it would be good idea to just... rotate out whole basic / classic pack and create new one. Some cards are played since beta and they are always relevant and viable (like Sap, Shield Slam, Brawl, Swpie, FIreball, Frostbolt, Hellfire, Hex, Polymorph, Animal Companion, Kill Command, Leeroy), so maybe it's time to get rid of them? Like wipe everything and start pretty much from scratch. That would be good opportunity for Blizzard to use all their experience from all those years and redesign the game (maybe in more healthy way), give classes new identities (maybe even along with new hero powers), direction etc.
I'm not saying, that those cards are OP or problematic (though they sometimes are...) but I think that would be healthy for the game, to give it some freshness and new excitement. Also some classic cards are just bad nowadays (due to power creep and other things) and since Blizzard is unwilling to buff or replace them, maybe it's the best move to dump them as unnecessary burden? Not to mention, those cards are limiting Blizzard's design capabilities (that's why they are HoFing them one by one, which is by the way unfair, when some classes are losing key cards while some remain untouched).
None of you is actually right. Literally every card in rogue is broken, therefore rogue is the apsolute best class. Nerf Raiding Party and suddenly all the rogue cards become very good, although not broken. That card alone makes all the other cards significantly more powerful. 3 mana draw three. Enough said.
Isn't he?!

I'd worry more about Waggle Pick. Just like with Shudderwock, the problem is not the card itself but the "companion" your opponent play them with.
There's literally two good decks that use Leeroy right now.
But yes, -he- is definitely the problem and the main reason the entire meta is warped around rogue. Yup.
he has already been nerfed. the problem is only one: the devs
NINE Packs opened with 2 legendaries inside insofar
No control deck uses or could use Leroy.
nah.

Press F for thoses (too) many stolen wins

Leeroy is not a problem dude.. it is legendary finisher you just wrote it.
Leeroy is NOT the problem here. As iWatchUSleep so succinctly put it, The Meta is warped around Rogue because that Class is disgusting at the moment.
I have seen Zero Leeroy Jenkins outside of Tempo/Aggro Rogue.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

Disagree the problem with Rogue currently:
Raiding Party, Pick and possibly prep.

Since they removed or nerfed almost all the charge minions I see how many are wondering why Leeroy is untouched
personally I don’t think the card itself it’s a huge problem but then again combine it with shadowstep and waggle pick and becomes just too good

another card to the list of nerfs lol
we will end up playing with vanilla cards, thanks to this crybabies.
This would seem like a joke, but you salt miners took it and ran
