On the other hand, some theorycraft here (not a suggestion of nerf!): what about such a nerf on Preparation?
Cost (1): "Your next Spell this turn costs (4) less".
OR
Cost (2): "Your next Spell this turn costs (5) less".
The idea is to make the card not available in the earliest turns, while keeping its power intact with bigger spells. Do you see dangerous side-effects with that?
I wish when people post "evidence" for a claim, they would actually bother to read it first. 53% WinRate? So OP, y'alll! (Look up Zoolock. I think you're going to spit your milk if 53% WR concerns you that much...) < 35% against Control Warrior?! There's your answer right there. Tell me again how good Rogue is? (Hint: It's not...)
Sigh... Rogue is fine. Nothing to see here. Moving on...
Learn to read numbers , people are forced to play sleep warrior because of how oppressive rogue is against everything.
Thing is everyone suddenly becomes an expert in balance and it get proven over and over that they're not.
If you nerf rogue something else will come to the forefront. Maybe, just maybe a slight adjustment to the Waggle Pick curve combo but other than that I doubt Blizzard will mess about too much. Certainly not to the degree of the OP suggestions.
It's time for Prep to get nerfed. Long time coming. And/or Raiding Party to 4. Backstab/Coin-Raiding Party is the main enabler for Rogue. It reliably starts Rogue steamrolling. It also increases the odds that Rogue will have an ideal turn 3 play.
Rogue is completely busted right now; anyone defending it is too liberal in their stance; you cant outvalue them at this moment in meta, and Vendetta is biggest problem, having 4 damage for 0 mana + playing 2 x 3/3 taunt in one turn. And its NOT rare
The only reason why tempo/aggro rogue is not a tier 1 deck with over 58% winrate is because of control warrior existing
There you have the answer why rogue should not have to be nerfed. As long as there are counterdecks there´s no reason to nerf imo.
BTW: I like playing rogue and I´m glad that rogue has finally a good deck again. There were times were rogue was just nothing. This time will come again, but hopefully not because of a silly not needed nerf.
hahahahahah thats so true....OP debunked his own reason why they shouldnt nerf anything,bwhahahahahahahhahaha.............wow
Raiding Party might get bumped to 4 mana. Conditional draw 3.
Prep needs addressing, but a knee jerk HOF is going to ruin the class. I play a lot of Maly rogue and other rogue archetypes I think are fun, and they rely on prep quite a lot. The class has been designed around the existence of prep for a long time, so untangling it needs some thought.
they are so bad at this game, im sure that not even playing control warrior they can beat rogue... not because its OP because they are bad at this game
If they will implement nerfs, they will probably be completely different (both targets and changes) from the ones everyone would like to see. Just wait and see instead of raging between each other on nothing certain.
I think both rogue and warrior could do witha very minor tweak, but a lot of the nerfs being suggested would leave both classes in a horrible state. Waggle Pick to 5 mana to slow rogue down slightly and the mech tag removed from Omega Devastator so that you don't have to face 4+ of them in each match and they don't have rush on top of the ten damage battlecry should be enough.
It's a TEMPO CLASS it's supposed to OUT-TEMPOthe opponents, it's part of the class identity, it's like complain about hunter being aggressive, or priest heal too much. ATM Rogue is fine, it's not absurd and (at least in my ladder) it isn't dominant. I agree that Raiding Party is OP, but if you see the statistics, the cards with more winrate after played are: 1º Leeroy Jenkins, with 71,7% 2º Edwin VanCleef with 57,6% 3º Captain Greenskin with 57,1% Source: https://hsreplay.net/decks/S3k3CuMPG4YSPVa5xbwhNg/

Yeah it’s super hard with all those 1 mana lackeys lmao.

Tempo Rogue has an unwinnable MU (Control Warrior) and a barely winnable MU (Control Shaman). I see no reason to nerf the class at all.
I've no clue what I'm doing...
rouge classic cards are insane
in my opinion maye they should HoF Preparation

I think the main offender is Waggle Pick, especially with Leeroy due to the insane amount of burst damage. Every other card is manageable.
It's not rng if you call - Amaz

Please nerf tokken druid, please nerf warrior, please nerf Rogue ,please nerf Mage .....wtf whit this Kids today.

prep now costs 2 mana
Also, in order to """counter""" rogue face (so called tempo xD) deck you need warrior for 12k dust vs rogue for like 2
Before nerfs : Here are 100 ways to completely kill the class.
After nerfs : "WTF Blizzard, y did nerf my fav deck, it was only tier 2."
i hate this nerfers
they are so bad at this game, im sure that not even playing control warrior they can beat rogue... not because its OP because they are bad at this game
Once again the classic cards are too strong in another class, these nerfs you suggest would put this class in a abysmal state.
prep and leeroy have always been solid. Easy craft for anyone that wants to play rogue of the tempo variety.
We know blizz is slowly axing charge minions..only a matter of time before theyre all exiled into the Wild.
Personally i like playing against rogue than sleeper warrior.
If they do nerf rogue and warrior, something else will take their mantles, ITS THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!!!!
Do or do not. There is no try.

Source: https://hsreplay.net/decks/S3k3CuMPG4YSPVa5xbwhNg/
And if you take for example Bomb Warrior, and see the cards winrates there are 9 (EXACTLY, NINE) card with a winrate above 60%. Source: https://hsreplay.net/decks/q4VgGMaiQHUYmE89kE8kQb/
That said, statisticaly speaking, you shoul ask for a nerf in Leeroy Jenkins, not the rogue cards, cause they're fine.
PS: Asking for a nerf to SI:7 Agent making it FOUR MANA is making it a much worse Fire Plume Phoenix.
