I just wondering that cuz im starting to see the same decks in almost all the ranks ( for rank 10-5 and for 5-legend) . Cmon guys i know is a new expansion and you can "play whatever you want" but give it a try to other classes and maybe you can find something interesting.
PD : I almost forgot mage/paladin exist in rank 5 lmao
No, it is not settled. There are undiscovered decks that are good too. For example, I've got a silence zoo that's doing well. Lots of decks still exist to be discovered.
There is also this control warriors popping up... There are 3 variations 2: with dragons, with rush and with bombs... Pick your poison... Hopefully it won't be Elysianna meta...
there's a version of bomb hunter that seems to be making a mess as well, but there are a lot of versions bringing the winrate down a bit.
I think it's the same for most archetypes. there are a lot of variants right now, each archetype will start to be streamlined and then we will get an idea of where these decks really lie.
Like someone mentioned as well, after this stage you will then see counter decks and then a sort of face off "roshambo" type of a situation.
I think you can get some ideas about what decks will be best though, at least until nerfs come down.
controlshaman is kind of a sleeper deck right now. out values warrior, heals for insane amounts and has better options do deal with unfavorable board states that make warrior lose
How many days or weeks after the release of Knights of the Frozen Throne did it take for people to realize Keleseth was good? Never count the meta out for a few weeks or so, you never know what you may miss!
It's semi-settled, but only until someone finds the new cool thing that's strong.
I say it's semi-settled because of this line of reasoning:
1. The top 6 decks on hsreplay are from 6 different classes (Mech hunter, Mech paladin, Bomb Warrior, Token Druid, Tempo Rogue, Murloc Shaman).
2. ALL SIX of them have a current winrate of 57% in their most popular decklist (not average winrate, but current winrate as of the time I'm posting this), if you round off decimals.
3. That means there are at least six different classes and decks that have very strong deck options. The motivation to innovate in that kind of environment is minimal; most people will have a deck that they like and they can win with it.
So that's my analysis of the situation. It's semi-settled, but someone, somewhere will find something amazing that no one else noticed yet. EDIT: hsreplay has Zoo Warlock near the bottom of tier 2, but its most popular deck has about a 65% winrate currently, and it would add a 7th class and 7th deck to the list.

It's pointless to discuss it, assuming equal greed with Elysiana and bankers, then it's all up to RNG, what mechs and how often are discovered by the warrior and what spells Hagatha will create. Also the ultimate RNG in Elysiana.

There is some skill to Elysiana too... Because out of 3 random options picking one that matters in the match up is not easy sometimes... It is about as hard as arena draft...
Dragon yes. But I'd have to disagree with Big Paladin sucking. I'm enjoying it at the moment and the majority of my games are with that or Dragon/Summoner Mage.

PD2 : this is a soft salt thread.
No one else is playing my killer control Shaman
Mmmmmmm.... Shadowy thoughts.

Trying to find that sweet spot with Recurring Villain.
this is the initial meta that showed the most consistent win rates out of the theorycrafting portion
Next comes counter-meta builds, then we hit the Rock Paper Scissors area before a new set is added
it happens every time
It went like this =
90% Bomb Warrior
then
90% Waggle Rogue
then
90% Token Druid
now the slow trickle of Mage and Shaman with huge late game tempo swings.

No it doesn't. Warrior still wins late game
I am having a blast with anti aggro handlock.
I think the expansion is still young.

I'm sad because Dragon and Big Paladin suck.

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
Mech Paladin is really good. I am so happy there is a viable Paladin deck.
Do you self practice what you preach?
