I don't know what issue have some people, just tell me why this happens.
Every single time the opponent has no chance to win, instead of conceding they play till the end, making us both waste time.
It's not roping, it's more like they think they can comeback (which is matematically impossible).
Example:
Odd aggro mage vs Odd Warrior: Warrior has 50 armor and aggro mage has 2 cards left. Instead of conceding, they keep spamming that 2 dmg till the end.
Odd paladin vs Odd warrior: Warrior has 50 armor and paladin has 2 cards left. They keep spamming those 1\1 and attacking even if they have no chance since 2 turns to fatigue.
Why these guys plays like bots? are they just random clicking without even looking at the monitor? I just want to know i can't figure out. Im not upset, just a sincere curiosity. Thank you.
Notes: There's no need to attack people's mental health because they choose to continue playing a match.
I play until I have no health left. Every once in a while it nets me a disconnect, a concede or a misplay. Just because I can't see the possibility of a comeback, doesn't mean it's not there. It aint over 'till it's over.
LOL, people complaining about players who don't rope and try to play till the end, hahaha, nice. Why don't you just concede yourself if you feel like you're wasting time? Because you are okay to waste time if that gives you the win. Well guess what, your opponent thinks the same.
Maybe they can't mathematically come back, but you can disconnect. Maybe they just enjoyed the game and wanted to give you a fair win instead of a concede win. Maybe... Reasons, you know.
I am the opposite side of the coin here, I do concede when I know there is no way back for me, I know my deck and if anything can save me and if not why bother?
Most of the time this only happens when I get particularly bad draws or am trying some ridiculous combo and don't make it work. If I am taking it seriously I am happy to have a 40 minute control game.
There Is Always the slimmest chance you disconnect,Also if they don't concede you are wasting time as well and since losing makes people salty they are more than Happy to try and make your experience worse, even Just a little
Or maybe they are trolling you, knowing your deck is a really slow one, so that way you can get less wins per hour and eventually stop playing a deck that's counter to their decks. Just maybe :)
But ye, as people already pointed out - maybe they are doing quests.

I don't get it guys. I can accept if they are doing quest, but for those of you saying "they wanna play till the end because they enjoy the game" i think it's a poor excuse. If you have fun spamming that hero power for 2 more turns when it's 100% lost, i think you should do some captcha brainless clicking, at least you can earn some money while having fun.

Dude, don't put that much thought in to it. They are so many different types of people and trolls playing that game. Just move on, be happy with the W and if you are feeling like your time is getting wasted, maybe close the game and do something else, or try something fast to change the pace. No point of getting frustrated over something so silly (that's the point of the trolls tbh).

I rarely concede, even when I know I have lost. Personally I just find it more honorable to not concede. Conceding feels wrong, even when I know I have lost. And also there is the very small possibilty that my opponent's internet disconnects and I win.
All I see is a very arrogant player who wants something that isn’t his yet. Remember that you win when your opponent’s life hits zero, and not when he doesn’t have resources anymore.
Moreover, if you’re playing Ladder, why would someone concede? Wins matter a lot (especially at high ranks), so you want to be sure that you lose when you don’t have life anymore. Just kill him. You can’t? Well, that’s just a problem of yours.
If you’re talking about casual, well, you’re playing Odd fucking Warrior in a non competitive format, and you should be roped every single turn, and I don’t even need to explain why.
You accuse players to be brainless but you don’t seem to be that wise...

1. They are salty and dont want to give fast win to opponent.
2. They doing quests

Wow. People really will complain about anything won't they? Dude, you've won whatever happens. Just take the win however it comes and move on.
Seriously. WTF is wrong with people? 😂
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
Some people, and this is weird, but true... some people like playing Hearthstone, and enjoy a well played game, even if they don't win.
If you feel your time is wasted, close the game and move on.

1. Doing a quest.
2. You never know, maybe the opponent "mess up" or disconnect (happens quite often).
3. Maybe BM.
If you're playing a deck that can't close out a game and relies in amassing armor or forcing fatigue, that's YOUR problem.
Don't like long games? Don't play boring decks.
Ps. Thanks for the tip. Armor Warriors DO value their time, so I'll be happy to waste it.

You chose to play slow in the first place, so it's not that unfair that you get slow wins.

I am going to plead the 5th and not answer this cause if I do I might say something that will hurt someone little feelings and report me.
I don't get the point of complaining about players that do not bm or rope on pourpose but play the game. I think it's just a baby rage.

You probably do know though. It's called human nature. People have ego, pride, can get salty. People like you and me, my friend.
