Relax, they're at all ranks and playstyles. I had a bunch of matches this morning at rank 10 in wild and everyone was spamming well played as their opener, like it's a foregone conclusion. Thanks for the heads up that you got a good opening hand, it really focuses me and makes me play in a more error free way as I really want to beat you now.
It's just an episode mate, don't put much thought in to it and have fun on your way to legend. GL & HF and gz on reaching the front door to the orange ranks.

So emoting is there to get you off track and hope so to win a game. There seem to be a relation between spamming emotes and playing aggro. Simplistic strategy, easy decisions, overall mindlessness means more time left to use the repulsive emote system.
There also seem to be a relationship between content of character in real live and playing aggro. And that relationship is not laudable.
So decktracker seem to have introduced auto-squelch. Maybe you want to use that (see GitHub)

How could it be different? Only the most "toxic" "tryhards" get there. Why do you even want to get or play there? Because of the rewards? I would advise you to avoid that toxicity and just have fun in casual. Even though casual also has some tryhards due to the passive 10 gold per 3 wins and quests that require to win. The best is really to just find friends you can play with. That way you can exactly establish whatever both of you like to play with and against. After all whatever you consider "toxic" or "tryhard" might not be for someone else. The only downside is that without something like in-game groups/guilds it seems to be rather hard from what I can tell. But I still think it's worth a try. I also play at rather unusual times, so if you're "more normal" it should be easier. Really anything is better then this "toxic" ranked. But that's just my opinion.
TL;DR Be a bro when you see your opponent make a play mistake by saying hello!
I personally miss the Sorry emote. nothing was funnier than watching my opponent taunt off sorries, until oops.... then it would be your turn to start saying sorry. with both players spamming the emotes, its more fun. you learn this at higher ranks. When your opponent is spamming hello, spam oops. when they spam thank you, you spam well played, when they spam a threat, you spam hello. any time they make a play mistake, help them out by being a bro and say hello.
It's pretty sad that people see all emotes, the only method of interaction available in a game, as inherently toxic. It says something profoundly sad about this game.
No I’m not getting triggered by the emotes, just wondering why people would do this since it’s considered BM. And that it almost go hand in hand with aggrodecks like odd pala. Just me being curious about if it tells something about them and so on.
I don't accept the premise of the question, but if I did, I'd say because the people pushing for legend are hoping to speed things up a bit.
I've played in tournaments and I've played on streams, and in both cases, it is sometimes necessary to take some time on a simple turn to either plan out future stuff or speak to your audience. When you are laddering off stream, especially now that ladder finishes don't contribute to tournament league standings, it does get very annoying when people are roping turn 2.
As for the end of game emotes, who knows?

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

Pretty sure it's also about the period: end of season, so everyone is trying to push some stars fast.

Yesterday I had nice surprise. Someone add me after game and said that was nice game, that dose not happend often. It was on rank 5.
Missing lethal since February 2014.
Maybe they wouldn’t emote as much if you actually beat them...
Why do you get triggered by emotes?
Why do you consider playing agro decks toxic behaviour?
Are you 12?

12 years old are playing aggro decks.
