Greetings Wild players, today i encountered many Shudderwock shaman, after the deck was dead for sometimes.
- The deck basically still works just like pre-nerf thanks to Doppelgangster.
The issue here is my enemy played so many Shudderwocks, the time was not an issue, he got an took 3:15 minutes just for the animation alone, why this is not a salt thread even that im tilted now? my issue is not the combo itself, my issue that he took my time, you have a minute and a 15 second, why give a player extra time and help him to do his combo? do any broken combo you want, have fun, even if the combo is the most unfun combo in HS history, YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE MORE TIME THAN INTENDED, which is 75 seconds,
To address the issue: any combo will immediately stop if your time finished.
How many times should we discuss this - it's not your opponent, who takes extra time to fulfill his combo. The animations are just slow. I've heard, that you can skip them by exiting the game and logging back in.
[edit] Also, if you are sure, that you will die from the Shudder combo or you can't kill the shaman player on the following turn, then just hit the concede button and move on.

i dont mean that my time will shorten, but you shouldnt exceed 75 seconds, you have 75 seconds, anything more than that you waste my time, not my turn time if you know what i mean.

I know what you mean. The issue with the animations has been discussed widely before (they used to cause some exploits with Nozdormu), but the devs haven't done anything about them except making them a bit faster or fixing the aforementioned bugs. Sometimes I also hate how long the animation time takes and if we had the option to turn them off, I would gladly use it.
As I said, I've heard that you can skip the animation by exiting the game and logging back in.
If a Shudderwock player gets the combo off & it doesn't whiff in some way you almost 100% lost anyway. The question then begs why you waited around for that 3+ minutes to finish when you were in a checkmate position?
Your time isn't unavoidably wasted, you can alt F4 or concede at any time.
Same thing goes for Topsy turvy priest. The rope is clearly burned but yet they are still putting the combo together to OTK your ass.
the thing is they set up the entire combo so you’re already dead but you are just waiting for the animation.
Fixing the inherent problem, which is how animations work, would require an entire overhaul on the Hearthstone animations.
Would that be a good fix? Yes.
Are Blizzard way too lazy to even add tiny features like auto squelch which means a big overhaul like this will never happen? Also yes.
Auto Squelch? WTF has Auto Squelch got to do with Animation times? To the Salt Thread with all of this.
Tis Bollocks..
Can you read?
Absolutely. Which is why I asked why you bought up Auto Squelch in reply to a dude ranting about Animation Times. If you have a petty little knife to grind because you can't be assed to click your mouse twice then take it to the Salt Thread.
As for Animation Times, OP they are what they are. Shut up or stop playing if a Tier 4 Wild Deck upsets you that much.

Fuck....
So you can't read.
Why are you on a forum then I wonder... Oh well, not worthy my time anyway.
The animations are annoying sure; but in terms of over-performing decks Shudderwock does not bear mention in Wild.
Even when it got nerfed through the SCG change, Shudderwock Shaman combo decks were sitting at just under, or just over 50% win rates on average. I did a quick search on HS replay just now and there is one Shudderwock combo deck listed for Wild and it is still only averaging 52%.
SCG wasn't nerfed because the deck was oppressive, but because enough people complained that it felt so bad to lose to the Shudderwock deck and it was the easy fix. And while in one way I want SCG back to it's original form since I used it and Doppelgangster in a Wild Val'anyr deck, I'm okay with it as is. Still have Doppelgangster and Echoing Ooze if I want to bring my Wild Val'anyr deck back some time. Immortal Prelate would probably work well in that line up now too.

Just switch to an anti combo deck or tech in dirty rat, deathlord, demonicproject and laugh at them
you could also try playing mill rogue (it also wrecks big priest but is vulnerable to any aggro)

Everything labeled "NOT SALT"... Is usually salt.
Also, what Zpbridge said:

u are so right if a turn is limited, any animation should be limited too
Its in wild, so its fine :)
And if time is your issue, just concede..

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
Wherever anyone says, "not salt"... 120% chance of salt.
The combo didn't fire off nearly as well since the nerfs. Find a way around it rather than crying about how your shit deck got pounded by one deck.
Why are you so salty, why can't you just enjoy the game?
