I went from rank 8 to rank 4 this month, mainly in Corpsetaker Paladin, without playing a single mirror and I played against an amazing amount of different decks. Of course there's a lot of aggro as it's faster to go up the ladder that way, so I faced a good few odd hunters, paladins and rogues, next to that obviously there were some cube warlocks although not that many and they all had different builds, of course a few spitefuls, but next to that there were also elemental shamans and mages, spell hunters, tempo rogues, hadronox druids, murloc paladins, quest rogues, even a kingsbane rogue, zoo warlocks, shudderwock shamans (although I haven't seen any in a while), big mage, and the list goes on...
Next to Corpsetaker Paladin I also went up the ladder using Tempo Mage and Even Shaman. I'm also trying Togwaggle Druid, Elemental Mage and Gunspire Warrior in Casual although that's not working so great.
If anything I've been playing too much lately, there are too many decks to try!
I'm not sure if OP is trolling or just woke up from a dream.
I'm calling it's a troll. I've tested Even Paladin today, and while I've managed a positive winrate and moved up to rank 4, 8 out of 15 matches were mirrors , rest was Cubelock with two Spietful Druids :P Then again, it's all about your local meta.
I actually agree with OP. I know there seems to be a lot of people struggling aggro Paladin, and stifled by Cubelock. But I'm currently at rank 3 and am facing a fairly wide range of decks. It probably helps that my spell hunter eats up all forms of paladin so I'm not unhappy to see them - but there's far more than just those two decks that i'm facing.
At rank 8 i see mostly Spiteful Druids or Odd Paladin. Sometimes Even / murloc paladin, cubelock or odd rogue.
Pretty straightforward. I have some fun playing off meta decks tough (tempo baku mage, mill druid, baku quest rush warrior and Shudderwock). I did most climb up using Even Demonhandlock though.
Mind - I'm not saying these are the best lists, I'm just saying I went to rank 4 with that. I mostly played Corpsetaker Paladin and I initially played it with Paragon of Light, but the deck didn't have enough tempo so I turned it into an even paladin. On my way up I played against a lot of odd paladins and secret paladins (I didn't even mention that one in my initial list) but never an even paladin. It works great against most decks, although it tends to get slaughtered by warlock cube.

If you look at Hearthpwn's class popularity tracker on their homepage you can see there is a well balanced meta right now unlike last season which was literally priest and cubelock.
I’m pleased so far w/ meta. I’ve faced various deck types: cube, even/odds, & spiteful. Look forward to seeing what changes in decks occur over next few weeks. PEACE

FYI - I think that is deck lists posted on Hearthpwn, not what is being played. Slight difference - but at least shows interest in other classes.

Do you mind sharing your paladin and shaman decks dude?
I have had a similar experience. Im very confused by all of the complaining.
I've no clue what I'm doing...

Endless paladins and spiteful, some cubelocks and control priests, thats all for me
Thats because you are rank 5 now. Where most people give up just to get that golden epic.
If by any chance you get to rank 4 you will face these decks:
Cubelock, Even/Odd Paladin, Spiteful Druid/Priest and growing bigger now, Taunt Druid. You will see occasional Taunt Warrior and Tempo mage.
But if you want legend faster? Cubelock and Paladin is your choice.
Im playing Big Dire Frenzy Hunter, and i would say 90% of my matches are Even or Odd Pally, Spiteful Druid or Control Warlock(havent seen Cube much)
At rank 8 i see mostly Spiteful Druids or Odd Paladin. Sometimes Even / murloc paladin, cubelock or odd rogue.

The meta is fine - I played Wild for a bit and between the Coldlight Oracles and Ice Blocks I'll take my chances with Even/Odd pally's any day.

Good looks, thanks man!
I can barely bring myself to complete my daily's. The past 2 expansions have created a very stale game.
