 Hear hear! That pretty much sums up 90% of my posts in this thread - people at janky ranks in wild (silver, mostly) playing tier standard decks, for whatever dumb reason they have. Zero issue with it if they're doing it legitimately (it's a silly way to do it - can't remember the last time a carbon-copy standard deck was wild-competitive; even something like Cubelock had wild additions to it like Mal'ganis), but it's unforgivable if they're farming wins at low ranks with a deck that could actually get a fair amount of wins in high ranked standard.

Then again, by default someone that thinks a standard-competitive deck should be played in wild probably isn't the greatest player around, so needs that handicap to get easier wins.

 What Standard meta deck right now performs good in wild?
Wild has way more powerful decks for literally every class.

Absolutely, no disagreement - buuut, a competitive standard deck in low ranked wild vs a janky deck (Dispatch Kodo combo hunter, for example) can do quite well, because those janky decks are akin to kitchen table decks in physical card games; they aren't competitive level even if they're relatively well built. Reminds me of the time I was playing some explicitly casual games of Magic on Tabletop Sim, and someone brought a carbon copy Thopter-Depths deck (which had been a plague of extended format when that used to be a thing), and had no idea why they got targetted by everyone at the table.

I don't auto-concede vs such decks because of the fact I have wild cards and that the deck is relatively well built gives me at least a chance, but yeah, it's annoying to have to play against a standard deck when I use wild jank to escape such nonsense. If you're asking what the opponent's mindset might be - no idea at all. Perhaps they've gotten to some sort of decent rank in standard, want to farm some low rank wins to get some credit towards 500/1000 wins, but don't have any decent wild archetypes? That's just about all I can think of - it should be obvious to anyone with a couple brain cells that any entirely-standard deck is very likely going to have an easier time in standard.

This happens because of IQ 2000 people who DE their entire collection at rotation because "WiLd Is CaNcEr! I wIlL pLaY sTaNdArD oNlY. StAnDaRd iS bEtTer." and then when standard turns out to be cancer because it always is but idiots never learn they take the only decks that they have and try to play wild. You still  need to be extremely bad at the game or playing complete jank at trash ranks to lose to them but at least now you know why it happens.

Quest Priest has 9 health and 2 cards -- Sethekk Veilweaver and Inner Fire. I have a 4/7, 4/2, 4/3 on board. He plays Sethekk, Inner Fires my 4/7 and discovers Shadow Word Death, discovers Penance, discovers Holy Smite for a full clear of my board in 3 consecutive cards, then he hero powers his Sethekk Veilweaver and passes. I play Polymorph on the Sethekk and drop Priestess of Fury thinking "Check Mate." What was the last card he got off Sethekk? Mind Control. 

Rogue...yet again...discovers 0 Mana Malygos from DQ Alex and 3 copies of Sinister Strike from Lackeys for Lethal out of nowhere. This is precisely why I hate Rogue in this meta. How do you play around 27482349823498 possible win conditions? You don't. Your win condition vs ANY Rogue in this meta is "Cross your fingers and hope."

I'm so sorry, dear tempo DH player in casual, that you had to waste so much time for your hard-earned win.

It's just that I'm a pretty bad player and I need a lot of time to think about my plays. I hope you didn't misinterpret my lack of skill for some intentional roping. I'd never do that!!!

Game devs know people who play priest have serious problems so they rig the game in their favor. Constant topdecks and perfect steals, ofcourse in casual mode, cuz why would I play decent deck in ranked. Guy fucked up everything he could've fucked up, but when the game decides you win - you win. No matter what. More RNG in your deck, more options to both win/lose, but since it's rigged, you should just run as much rng as you can.

I'm not even that salty but if i posted this anywhere else i'd get shit on for it. Played against rez priest with my bomb highlander quest warrior and priest is my easiest win..............Unless this happens. he has no minions on board i have a few. He's fatiguing for 3 next turn and has 2 cards in hand. he's only just played galakrond (no invokes) and discovers Envoy of Lazul with hero power. He had no clue i was highlander all game because i run two Wrenchcalibur and he's put like 16 seagulls in my deck. my three cards in hand are zeph, dragonqueen alex and bladestorm. Of course he gets alex. Next turn i can't kill him but i just go face (he had a ton of armor mind you because both of his resurrects brought back my kargath prime that stole with soul mirror) anyways he plays alex and gets Ysera, Unleashed and Brightwing. It doesn't matter though because he will still fatigue next turn and can only make trades while i go face with my 4/3's and 1/1's. I think i have him beat but brightwing gave him Lord Jaraxxus and he no longer dies on his next fatigue. Just not my day i guess.

I would really love to know how mmr works because how is it possible that I, plat 5 with barely over 500 wins combined over all the hs classes, get to face against some wanker who already has a golden dh hero (who I discovered after the match was at rank 300something legend). I'm sorry, what?

I swear, dh is such a massively annoying class to play against. Odd dh is pure cancer, I've seen more than a few games of odd dhs bringing odd warrior to fatigue and in one case, even winning. There's quite literally no other aggro deck that can do that, not even remotely close. Why couldn't blizzard introduce a class that was control-based instead of this hyper aggro shite?

Both the DH class and the new MMR have completely ruined this game. I have deleted this garbage again, hopefully for the last time. What an absolutely putrid, horrific experience.

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Imagine playing an arena game, controlling the entire match, lethal on board, opponent 1 card left. Imagine that opponent Holy Wrathing for the perfect 9 damage lethal. I want to say well played, but this is just some utter fucking bullshit rage inducing nonsense RNG. FUCK ARENA. FUCK HEARTHSTONE.

So get a new phone, try to play hearthstone. For some reason it always shows my opponents mana crystals during their turn as my mana crystals. Until now it always corrected itself when it came to my turn. But one game it didn't. So turn three my opponent used 2/3 mana, and then on my turn I only had one mana to use. What the actual f***. Getting metaphorically cheated by these dh, and then actually cheated by the game. First time I uninstalled with no intention of playing again.

Oh, and the 6/7 deal 7 at end of turn, what were they thinking? and the 4/2 that you vomit your hand with and do 30+ dmg to everthing while drawing your deck. And a CHARGE minion that also ignores all taunts for all your minions, after sending leeroy to hof. Seriously the end of this game.

I just want to play the patron era forever. Can someone get the source code, set up a server, and lets restart from there.

The only thing that makes sense for dh is to start them with less health 30 -> 25 or 20 to balance out their hero power and pure bs everywhere else.
