If only they were slower but most of the time they have aggro like hand which is just insane. Evis, backstab while theyre building their own board. And then boom turn 5/6 gg even tho its not like their board was empty for the most of the game.
It just feels unfair that despite aggro openings they easily win a control game.
I've been running janky Raza Priest and Taunt Warrior (which is also poison to the people still playing pirate warrior) and I'm having no trouble at all against Crystal Core. They run too many bad cards and get crushed for the first 5 turns. I'm sure the archetype is great against some decks, but it doesn't seem like an actual problem.
In the long run, I think the dominant Rogue deck is going to be some form of Razorpetal Miracle. But we'll see.
Stop whining. It's not because you haven't been able to win against a deck (after 24h being out) that it is necessarily OP and that it needs to be nerfed. You are just bad, stop sucking. Play and adapt your deck. Isn't it one of the mechanism of this expansion ?
And no I'm not playing Crystal Core Rogue...

Yee okay.... But you know. Not everyone enjoys playing aggro decks. So im just hoping there will be a better solution.
I will never understand the people that try to use this as an argument...makes no sense.
So let me get this straight. Because you dislike playing aggro decks which happens to be a counter to the deck you are bitching about...then you feel something is broke or Blizz needs to fix something so it can be done your way. I cannot think of a good example off the top of my head but basically if you cannot do something your way then it's not right...Or here you go..you don't like using spoons as you prefer to use a fork so are you gonna bitch and not eat your soup because the fork doesn't pick up the soup well enough to eat and you refuse to use the spoon? Shit doesn't work that way bro!!
Without a doubt this quest requires a serious nerf.
3 games in a row against rogue. turn 6 max quest is done and how can you deal with 5/5 for 1 mana?
Cmn we all know its op and unfair. Like what the actual hell?
Its the most cancer ive literally ever seen... Most of the time you stood greater chances against pirate warrior.
This is just insanse and ridiculous.
Another archetype which makes meta aggresive as there is no other way to beat this crap other than strict face dmg.
I know its just the beggining of ungoro but i tried paladin and druid. Both failed against everything that is played right now. I aint gonna play broken retartded face decks only to beat rogues which are like 30% of the games i play.
The reason why you are losing is because you are playing only fuckin Paladin and Druid against Rogue. Play a real control deck and you'll do better.
It's a bit early to declare anything OP. People do it every expansion, and usually things get sorted and early judgments fade. My guess is the quest will stick around in some capacity, but I think it's draw dependence and weakness to hyper aggressive strategies makes it unlikely to dominate the meta too badly. Could be wrong. It's hard to say anything with certainty two days in. No need to cry nerf just yet.
Ive honestly had no problem with it. Been playing an elemental themed quest mage deck. Early pressure snowballs the rogue quest and when it is complete I usually have already established a strong enough board that I can kill them the next turn. Its like any other deck, when you see them pop the quest during the first turn adjust your strategy. In this case just rush him
Nice post. This the exact problem i have in mind.

miracle was much less effective than this. Im serious every game against rogue turn 5/6 quest is done. Against standard miracle rogue? Turn 8...9.
i consistently beat quest rogue with elemental shaman, quest warrior, midrange hunter, handlock and quest mage.
its nowhere near to be op you just have to know how to play against it.
you dont need to play face decks since quest rogue has such a slow opening with all the bounching and 1/1s.
so please stop bitching when you're a rank 10 player and dont know how to handle specific matchups or situations.....
It is OP af.
Needs nerf.
Stupid unbalanced expansion yet again. RIP HS

I knew this was a strong card from when it was released.
I remember when pretty much everyone said this card was 1/5 stars too XD

i havent said anything about playing control deck but thanks for the useless advice. Will write it down somewhere to remind me how not to read.
i always win to rogue with Mid range hunter and quest warrior , maeby, just maybe let the meta settle down a bit untill we called something op

Waayyyy to easy to trigger this overpowered reward. How did this make it out of testing?
Should almost be 6 minions required. You can finish it by turn 5
its easily outplayed by midrange hunter and warrior quest, chill, the meta hasnt settle down. everyone is experimenting still

My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
With Shadowstep x2 + Gadgetzan Ferryman x2 , right there it's easy to achieve early (well in my experience against Rogue I've faced in the last day),
Even Thistle Tea Helps a lot, without mentionning Youthful Brewmaster x2
It can get activated pretty fast. it's all I can say. Then it's a swarmfest of 1-2-3 mana minions and BOOM you die.
