I don't want to make a long thread here, so i will make it short & to the point. When all quest cards were revealed of JTG, my 1st thought was, hmmm, it would be really smart for BLIZZ to give All or Some quest's for Free just like they did with C'thun to help people who are on a budget or don't pay at all, so they won't feel too distant from every Big P2W decks on ladder or anywhere else. They could have printed more legendaries, but make the quests available for everyone & you can't disinchant them (just like C'thun) untill the expasnion leaves standart. That way, it will make the expasnion feel awseome for everyone & almost everyone wins. Blizz will still make a sh*t ton of money & don't make people with low budgets feel too bad about this expansion. What do you think about this, i hope you get the idea i'm trying to explain?
I thought about this too a bit. I thought it would of been a good idea for blizzard to give people at least one quest for a class on their first pack or something, so they can have fun with it and maybe make some kind of vaguely viable deck to compete with.
That never was going to happen. But I do think that they should be a) cheaper than normal legendaries (say, 800-1000 dust) and b) you shouldn't be able to pull duplicate quests from the packs.
Not all the Quests are that awsome (or so it seems), also now everyone is in frenzy for the new mechanics and is just playtesting them.W Whenthe meta will define I don't really know how many (and which) of them will be actually player. Imho they're not so important, but are just another legendary card.
Probably they've could gift to everyone Elise the Trailblazer because she probably is the most iconic generic legend of the whole expansion set.
Yeah, maybe giving all quests is a bit too much, but atleast giving a few free quests to help F2P or Budget players to help them a bit to fight vs future popular net decks.
It is true that many quests are meta-defining. More than usual legendaries, because Quests are granted in mulligan: you can safely build decks around them.
But it's still too early to say they are NECESSARY to be in-meta: if not, there's no reason for them to be free whatsoever.
I believe in the particular case of the Quest it would have been awesome to put the all free to use for up to two weeks so EVERYONE can toy with them and decide if they want to craft one or many or buy more packs.
Quests are fun, but I am sure I wouldn't be having as much fun if I didn't have the chance to craft anything I want and test decks, so yeah, free to use for two weeks so everyone can have fun and make an educated election or what they want to craft would have been amazing and very welcomed by the community.
IMO, it would have been nice if there was some sort of intro to Un'Goro where Elise talks about going on a quest, and then asks you which quest you'd like to go on. Whichever one you choose, you get for free. That would allow people to have at least one quest, wouldn't be a huge detractor from Blizz's budget, and would reduce whining tenfold. If it was a random quest, most people who got the pally or priest quest would be pissed and you'd have just as much complaining. All the quests is way too much to give away but one would have been fair. Honestly, they could've just scrapped all the login rewards and given us that instead. We got like 3 packs, 150 gold, a golden rare and some dust IIRC. If they had given the quest instead it wouldn't have been that much more of a sacrifice.

People always want more free stuff. Blizzard run their game to make money. You are free to leave.
You are also free to complain but your conplaints have 0 value to Blizzard if you keep spending money.
In other words: Your only power is your wallet.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
I disagree, however it would have been interesting if they gave one away free randomly.
I don't think they should do it for free, but I definetely think the legendary ratio in un'guro packs should be higher.

My takeaway from this poll is that 23 people here are crazy.
