I think Rogue has the potential to be really good.
The thing is it is not obvious how to make it work.
I think I Tempo Rogue that uses Jades, and Stealth Buffs to win in a Aggro-ish Midrange deck will be really strong, but I have no idea how to build it and neither does anyone else yet. When it comes around I think Rogue will have an interesting tier 2 deck.
I've played a lot of Jade Rogue myself. It took a lot of tweaking for me, but I finally managed to get a deck that works well enough for me. It's not a bad deck, but I've seen my share of counters to the deck. If Taunt Warrior gets a good enough curve where they can Bolster a lot of high-health low cost Taunts, it's gonna take you way too many turns to break through while all the while they chunk down your face with their raw board presence. I mean, at least if they know how to bait out your Saps. The Jade decks themselves are all still rather weak to Aggro.
Although I got Shaku, the Collector as my first MSG Legendary, I more appreciate the Smuggling Paladin.
I just played 3 games, but I was paired with C'Thun deck users, and they are pretty weak against it because of that Spawn of N'Zoth effect that goes into your hand rather than your board.
Nobody expects the 9 mana 11/9 Kraken which also deals 4 damage as a battlecry.
I typically get wrecked by pirate warrior, but i can beat basically everything else with Jade N'Zoth Rogue. Taunt Tempo Warrior hard counters Pirate Warrior too.. so play that if you are seeing too many Pirate Warriors

And Evolve/Devolve Shaman beats Midrange Shaman, and other decks.
Fun to see that Tunnel Trogg devolving into a Wisp, and that 4 mana 7/7 into an Ooze.
I've never played Rogue much but I'm having a lot of fun with it at the moment. Pirate Rogue is pretty strong and is the only deck with the new cards that I haven't lost on ladder with yet (7-0). Currently having immense fun in Play mode with a Jade Weasel deck that hasn't lost yet 5-. Fun troll deck that I someday hope to put the Mayor in, not gonna craft him tho.
The irony is that rogue isn't bad, it's just bad early game minion snowballing and face-aggro. It's strong against most other types of decks.
Think about it... miracle rogue was strong against miracle druid, mid-range hunter, control warrior, tempo mage, renolock and control priests. That takes quite the tempo and punch. Even C'thun warrior on full steam and good draws could be outgunned by cold blood miracle rogue.
It's just that the decks it sucks against are invariably the most common decks in HS, it's the entire design of the game shafts rogue.
He led the Stonemasons in the reconstruction of Stormwind, and when the nobles refused to pay, he founded the Defias Brotherhood to, well, deconstruct Stormwind.
Shit like this is just funny at this point. Ive had plenty of success with rogue and trampled jade druid with anything relatively fast. You guys are all gonna be blown away when the dust settles from this new expansion and jade druid is lower tier than jade rogue.
Try removing some of the weapon/attack buffs and replacing them with shadowstep and/or shadowcaster. Your goal should be building that Jade Train, so buffing minions or yourself is time and cards wasted. :)
Won every jade rogue i met with my jade druid. They can not out-jade the deck which has a maximum jade synergy. I noticed that their golems always are much weaker, then mine. They have not heavy taunts (i has), good healing and can not do anything with swarmed golems (their speed of golem swarming is much slower).
They literally got shafted this expansion..i thought they might as well get the free wins as a token of appreciation.
Jade N'zoth Rogue is actually very strong.
Check out my Hearthstone expansion: The Shifting Sands
The expansion was released only two days ago, can people stop making this threads at least for a moment?
Meh, Rogue isn't that bad.

I have a very positive win rate with a tempo jade deck with N'Zoth. It's a very strong deck overall. Not sure why people say it's weak or gimmicky.
nzoth, jade rogue is insanely strong but it loses to pirate warrior every single time, thay why very few people play it

Seems ok.

I am having some success with this.
You can play the board for awhile then you burst the shit out them for a win.
I would run Aya if I had it over the Jade Spirit.
The Jades give you good Tempo after the first 2 which lose tempo but you have backstab and cheap spells to make up for that.
solid against control and aggro.
Miracle Rogue with the new red wyrm (I forget the name of the card xD) and the coins is really good against everything but pirate warrior.
And very fun too ;D
