I have been wondering which of the new cars will be the new Dr. Boom. You know, big minion (usually legendary, but not necessarily) that every deck run that can win most of the games you play.
I know, the new expansion has been around just a couple of days and it's too early to make a final verdict or precise prediction.
My bet is Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Costs 7 mana (just like Dr. Boom) and fills the same slot in the mana curve. It has a powerfull battlecry effect and solid body, hard to remove. Dr. Boom had a total of 9/9 stats if you count boom bots, and this one puts a total 8/12. The only difference here is that it can only run on C'thun decks, instead of any deck like Dr Balance used to. But if you are playing C'thun, chances are that you will play this guy.
The most Op card I've seen so far it's Call of the Wild. Only class that can deal with it with only 1 card is Mage with Flamestrike, but this one is a Hunter Card....Neutral I'm stil not sure, there are so different archtypes that it's tought to make this decision.
Flamewreathed Faceless is a really strong card, but it represents a huge amount of tempo loss if the opponent gets to remove it. As a Hunter player, I've been running 2 Deadly Shot just to deal with him. If I manage to kill it on turn 4, it's AutoWin vs Shaman.
There is no Dr. Boom in the new set from what I can tell. Most of the really powerful cards have conditions, require you to build your deck around it or are class specific. No neutral card stands out as a stand-alone bomb.

Yeah it´s Twin Emp, though they are way better balanced than boom was. And are limited to c'thun decks, naturally. There won´t be any cards as boom and shredder in the future i hope.
There is no Card you would and should put in every deck that doesn't want to end the game before turn 6. So I don't think WotoG has another Dr. Boom . Of course, for certain decks, some cards are autoincludes like Twin Emperor Vek'lor for C'thun decks. Or Call of the Wild for midrange hunter. But that's not Dr. Boom Level (imho Twin Emperor would be without his requirements)
I think Cho'gall is being underestimated a lot. He is amazing.
Play it, cast Siphon Soul on the card who's giving you problems and destroy it. Cost? 3 HP. And you still have 3 mana to play whatever you want or to use your Hero Power, plus 7/7 on board.

But sure, it's a really scary card. Haven't yet seen a deck that makes really good use of it though.
So far, I don't see any cards that is so universally viable as Dr B. and that's a good thing IMO. Any card that's good in every single deck and is included by default regardless of the deck is a bad idea.

I had this happen to me last night after having a terrible start. I came back and beat him 3-4 turns later. I had not done anything significant before this turn lol. Good old Bloodlust FTW.

So, what do you guys think?
Twin Emperor Vek'lor is strong, but most times I saw him in play he wasn't as impactful as Dr. Boom.

I think Ragnaros Firelord will take worth instead of Dr. Boom espacially after nerf of BGH.
Even though only one class can use it, the new Dr. Boom is without a doubt, Flamewreathed Faceless... and just like Dr. Boom, it's a 7/7!

I think its Holy Wrath. With the new Molten Giant "nerf" its dominating the meta.

Divine Favor. I'm sorry but this card is starting to get out of control.
