1 - It has RNG. It might not screw you as other RNG cards would (hello Yogg Saron) but it can also be less powerful than what you need at the moment.
2 - The card isn't powerful on itself: you need to know what you are picking. You can misplay it. Depending on the situation, the same potion choices can be OP or just average.
3 - It won't win the game alone for you as other cards would. You need an entire deck around it.
But, its awesome, very good and one of the best HS card designs ever made. I hope that we can see more stuff like that from now on.
The only 3 mana drop that could benefit from such combo, right now (at least in standard) are the Harvest Golem and Spawn of N'Zoth. IMO, I do not think that any of them would fit in this deck
I was playing my N'Zoth Priest deck against a Mill rogue. In the end, I managed to summon back all my deathrattle minions against the opponent, and that included 3 copies of Sylvanas.
In a last effort to win the game, the rogue played Yogg-Saron, triggering the nevereding stream of random spells. One of those spells managed to kill one of my Sylvannas, and since Yogg was the sole minion on the other side of the board, it end up stolen in the middle of it's battlecry effect.
When Yogg came to my side, however, it kept playing it's spells as if I was the one who summoned it. It even put some hunter trap on my side and healed.
Volazj is a card for the mid game, not the late game
It's best to use it to replicate big deathrattle minions. If the opponent doesn't remove everything right away, even a single Shifting Shade or Infested Tauren will generate a lot of value - ya, it's like playing a different kind of Dr. Balance. Besides, you create more Deathrattle minions to be summoned later by N'Zoth. There are some nice shenanigans you can do with stuff like Anubisath Sentinel or Twilight Summoner
If you use that AFTER N'Zoth, not only you would lose tempo, but you would need to sacrifice your stuff on the table to make room for the other 1/1 minions.
Right now, N'Zoth paladin is more powerful, with legend potential. N'Zoth Priest, although being very powerful (and a counter to N'Zoth paladin too), usually has a hard time against faster decks.
If you want a strong deck right now, craft the stuff you need for paladin and make the priest deck later. The important legends are shared in both decks, and you will be able to make the N'Zoth Priest very soon,
Right now, I am running N'Zoth Priest. I have in the 6 mana slot Sylvannas (which you also want to run), Entomb, Herald Volazj and Holy Fire. I do not need another 6 mana minion, specially one that ofent pops from Museum Curator.
You, on the other hand, might need Cairne.
If you have already lots of 4 or 5 mana stuff, consider crafting the legendary before the epics. If you do not, go for the legend.
You never know when and how the meta will change, and keeping a decent collection of cards helps. We know there are cards that will never ever be used in constructed, but a lot of occasional tech and underused cards can shine when a new expansion comes up. You might dust something today that you will need tomorrow.
Besides, disenchanting is usually a bad deal. You might end up wasting dust (and therefore money) crafting again stuff that could just sit there in your collection.
Also, there is the wild format. Right now, the brand new format is more popular, but you might want to try the wild format in the future
Twilight Summoner has a good synergy with Raptor and helps build N'Zoth power. Shadowcaster allows some nice shenannigans with battlecry and deathrattle effect, like making copies of Brann Bronzebeard, Sylvanas or even N'Zoth in the late game.
Cairne helps a lot, but if you have already plenty of stuff at 6 mana slot in the curve, you might not need him.

Spellproof, camouflage, guard, spellshield, ward, hexward, spellward, etc.
It's not particularly hard to find a suitable word that would work on this concept.

It wont work consistently unless you have the Voidlord, cube or Doomguard as the only minion on the board.

This Gorgon Zola is a very cheesy card indeed.

Kazakus is very good. But:
1 - It has RNG. It might not screw you as other RNG cards would (hello Yogg Saron) but it can also be less powerful than what you need at the moment.
2 - The card isn't powerful on itself: you need to know what you are picking. You can misplay it. Depending on the situation, the same potion choices can be OP or just average.

I believe it's a slight nerf on the card: use it soon or waste a mana crystal, since you can't get an extra card + big golem.
Besides, Wild Growth would be absolutely worthless in the endgame if you couldn't cycle it for another card.

It is. Works nicely in Control Warrior and maybe Tempo Warrior depending on the deckbuild

Is this a bug or is it working as intended?

It is an important card for N'Zoth Dragon Priest deck. Very consistent, you should try that

I am assuming you are running N'Zoth rogue.

I made a more streamlined version of Aggro Shaman. Basically, it's just Tunnel Trogg and Ancestral Knowledge
