I just logged on and couldn't be more dissapointed at the nerf lists. I'm completely dumbfounded by blizzard's complete lack of understanding of how their own game works. I was a little hyped about old gods for a week or 2, but now I really don't even feel like playing the game ever again. They completely removed 2 archetypes from the game: Agro, and fatigue. Agro/face decks are complete garbage after the nerfs and they were really fun and HEALTHY for the game. They helped tone down control decks and prevent people from just playing like 10 big minions in their decks, which is no fun when you lose a game because you had the coin and your opponent went first and then they play the first big minion, then the 2nd and so on and you can't do anything because they value trade you and you can't simultaneously play your own big minion and kill theirs in the same turn. I was actually having a lot of fun in LoE because you could have a long strategic game where you ran more removal than they had big minions, because most decks would only run 2-3 and the games would go back and forth. Now people are going to play greedy decks because why not? And you can't actually remove all of their stuff because there's not enough hard removal in the game! Oh but you can still use BGH LULUL.
Fatigue's dead too because they got rid of Deathlords Duplicates, and all the non-combo druid cards from GvG. Plus like I said, not enough hard removal for the amount of threats your opponent will play.
But at least they nerfed handlock hahahhahah, oh wait, THEY NERFED THE WRONG GIANT. The molten giant was fine because it added strategy to the game and you can play around it. You can't play around Mountain Giant because it's their 4 drop. Mountain giant needed to be nerfed because there's no decent counter to it and it's just a free win when it doesn't get answered IMMEDIATELY, oh yeah and mountain giant was only ever played in handlock. Molten Giant was actually played in other classes like duplicate mage, charge combo warrior, and holy wrath paladin, and was cool. But not anymore.
Decks that were overpowered that didn't get touched: Freeze mage, secret paladin (lost 1 damage on juggler, big whoop), and handlock didn't actually lose that much, it'll still be played every other game. Cards that should've been nerfed that were untouched: Tirion, Ragnaros, Alexstraza, emperor thaurrisan, Fireball, dark peddler, keeper of uldaman, mountain giant, sunfury protecter, Lord Jarraxus, mirror entity, mana wyrm, animal companion, Archmage Antonidas, and Grommash Hellscream.
I really don't even know what to say upon seeing these nerfs. Literally the only 1 that made a little sense was knife juggler, and once again, all the other nerfs they went "warsong commander style" on. Why not try minor nerfs just to make sure it's a good idea? Nope, gotta make the tooltip clean, gotta sacrifice game balance so we don't have to have long texts on cards! I really really regret spending money on this game.
oh yeah and to the Timmys that think that BGH becoming completely unplayable is going to make the game more fun and you're going to see a lot of cool big minions, I've got news for you. BGH didn't prevent cards like "blood of the ancient one" and "gruul" from being played. Ragnaros, ysera, alexstraza, Sylvannas, dr boom, and sneed's old shredder prevented those cards from being played. You will NEVER EVER see any big minion played over those because they're all way better than any of the other big minions, so naturally they're going to win when you consider anything else for that mana slot.
Some of the nerfs I think are okay, but they made molten unplayable, and they killed aggro. You can not even play a molten now until you are at 15 life, and then it would still cost 10 mana! Wtf Reno had already killed face hunter, and now it looks like Shaman will be the only class that gets to play aggro. Juggler is okay, but Leper Gnome and Arcane Golem are garbage now. Get ready for the super greedy control decks kids.
Someone care to explain why dark peddler, keeper of uldaman, sunfury protecter, Lord Jarraxus, mirror entity, mana wyrm, and Grommash Hellscream needed nerfs? loooooool

Molten is still perfectly playable, the decks it was used in (Freeze and Handlock) will still run it. It's just less powerful now, but that's kind of the point.
It used to be a 4 mana 18 health taunt when combo'd with Argus. Anyone can easily argue that for some cards to warrant that kind of strength, it'd only be justifiable when used by a character on dangerously low health.

An austistic rant about nothing. Skimmed over it and im hoping whatever brain degenerating disease you suffer from isn't contagious.
Few points. 1. Handlock was nerfed. Molten Giant was still an integral part of Handlock. And literally the only time you cant beat turn 4 mountain giant is if you also haven't been playing jack for the first four fucking turns. So you're either playing control (so you can remove it) or your deck is terrible.
2. Freeze Mage and Secret Paladin both got nerfed.. I don't even need to explain this.
3. Big Game Hunter DID prevent a lot of cards from being played. It's actually the exact reason that minions with 6 damage are considered way stronger than minions with 7 damage.
I can live with some of Blizzards nerfs but in this latest wave I think they but 3 maybe 4 cards to the warsong commander, starving buzzard range. Arcane Golem is actually shit, ramping ur opponent and not having charge, I mean WTF Blizzard. Molten Giant is practically unplayable now with its 5 mana raised cost (I personally think that Mountain giant should have been nerfed instead, I mean an 8,8 for 4 mana is insane). And lost but not least Blade Flurry got absolutely analed. I can understand changing the card so it doesn't deal face damage but by upping the mana cost by 2 as well this card will never see play again. Ancient of Lore is now pretty useless as well, Azure drake does a much better job and cost 2 less with the spellpower benefit. I rlly hope that Blizzard for once actually makes cards better instead of just nerfing them into oblivion and this doesn't mean taking Magma Rager and making Ice rager. This means actually spending the time to see what cards are underpowered and hopefully bringing a few cards back to life.
*Just called Blizzard and found out that Valeeras funeral is April 26th, ironic that its the day WOG comes out.
cmon guys, when I say secret paladin, I'm talking about wild mode, I'm not stupid... And anyone who thinks freeze mage isn't OP knows nothing about the game. Dude, it's been a tier 1 deck used in EVERY tournament match since beta. And I hate handlock because it's a very restrictive deck that's only countered by very specific things, and these specific things coincedentially are played in almost every netdeck, but handlock is so powerful that it's still extremely commonly played when it goes against its perfect counter almost every other game. I unlike you guys think, make my own decks and almost never net deck unless it's a weird deck like mill druid that's unique. Non-net decks are actually going to be hit harder than the net decks are because of these nerfs. Because like I said, they're going to be greedier, and all the spell combo decks like freeze mage are going to be king

I really don't understand why the internet is obsessed with the word autism. It's really one of the most embarrassing things to be associated as a nerd and a gamer with people that call other people autistic, which is an extremely crippling disease that millions of people go through. Entire families get ruined because of autism. But for some reason, people randomly just thought it was funny to use the word on the internet. Good luck talking like that in public!

thank you for actually contributing something intelligent and positive to this thread. I actually agree with all of what you said, I really have no idea why all the other people just come in acting hysterical and flaming hardcore.
Lol this guys idea is just to nerf every card that is good.... Bro not everyone wants to play a game where you just play the curve, i swear this games player base has no vision man. Prob just a another netdecking child!!!!

I have a friend whos little sister is autistc, and you make a very good point.
Someone care to explain why dark peddler, keeper of uldaman, sunfury protecter, Lord Jarraxus, mirror entity, mana wyrm, and Grommash Hellscream needed nerfs? loooooool
because dark peddler and keeper were cards that were added just recently after 3 years of hearthstone and net decks have been so ridiculously fine tuned and closed, but then these 2 show up as 2 ofs in every warlock/paladin deck. They're the best cards in the game. Dark Peddler is absolutely insane. Being able to discover a card and get a 2 2 for 2 mana, on top of warlock having the best 1 cost cards in the game. You can almost always play the card you discovered, and not only do you get a body that will kill most other 2 drops, and draw a card, and you get to choose the card, and it's not in your deck. You can get 2 different 1 mana 4 damage spells so you get so much reach from it, plus you can just get a bunch of really good minions as well. Dark Peddler is the best warlock card, and warlock's easily in the top 3 best classes because of the broken hero power.
Keeper is even better than peddler. Secret paladin was one of the most broken decks in TgT and ridiculously overplayed, then they add TWO of these into the deck. That really says a lot. People whine all the time about BGH, but this mofo will destroy any minion. When you equip a truesilver, you can literally just snipe any card in the game, and you keep a 3 4. Oh yeah and if that wasn't good enough, if you don't feel like killing something with it, you can just give +2 +2 to one of your guys, making it a 4 mana 5 6..........
Oh yeah and did I mention both of these are common cards lol, so hello arena. Oh yeah and paladin was already the best arena class before this card XD XD
Lol this guys idea is just to nerf every card that is good.... Bro not everyone wants to play a game where you just play the curve, i swear this games player base has no vision man. Prob just a another netdecking child!!!!
I can't tell if you're serious, but I'm bored so I'll respond. Well I'm doing a response to a bunch of people "nerfing every card that is good" only like 3/4 of them weren't even that great. Not to mention YOU DONT NERF CARDS THAT ARENT GOOD. And you probably didn't read anything I wrote because I create every deck I play
LOL guys make up your mind, just a week ago "These cards are too slow, Nerfs are not going to make up for losses of Healbot, Deathlord, etc." Now "Aggro ded, get ready for p2w greed". Aggro will not die, it will hopefully be balanced with control/Midrange as the game should be. Leper Gnome and Arcane Golem are both bad now, but those were dumb cards to begin with. Face Decks dying is fine by me. Juggler is not bad, just no longer the unquestionable Dr. 2. Healthy aggressive cards, like Possessed Villager and Imp Gang Boss in Warlock, Trogg and Totem Golem in Shaman, the new Divine Shield thing in Paladin, and Animal Companion and Explosive Trap in Hunter will live on. These kinds of cards promote trading and fighting for board control in order to deal enough damage to win the game, which is the spirit of hearthstone in a nutshell. Decks mindlessly hitting face are dumb and I'm glad Gnome and Arcane Golem both suck now. Zoo like Aggro decks will never die, and that's great. Face hunter players might need to learn how to attack minions though.

whats with your hate of handlock. Learn to beat it. Besides, handlock got nerfed anyways
This site is flooded with a bunch of crybabies. Jesus Christ.
Stopped reading when they claimed secret paladin didn't get nerfed.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Not sure if trolling. These nerfs are amazing, best thing that has happened to HS. ever.
