Hey Guys, this week i made a version of Thaddius. I have orientated myself by the Naxxramas-WoW version. He changes the polarity of all players either negatively or positively. You can use him with an odd or even-Cost deck. With the odd-Cost deck, he gives all your minions +2/-1. You use it with a aggro deck which buffs your minions attack but they are easier to kill. Also you can not use cards like Argent Horserider because it would start with 0 health. With the even-Cost deck, he gives all minions -1/+2. You use it with a defense deck which buffs your taunt minions. But this also make minions like Stoneskin Basilisk pretty much useless.

I'm just going to be straight here, very few people will vote for cards that have 5 lines of text. It's not a rule per se rather a guideline with is used when creating cards.
I also have an entry this week. In short, instead of drawing a random card, you get to choose out of three cards in your deck to draw out. However I'm not 100% it would work as I intent it too. Is it flawed or would this work if it were in Hearthstone? (EDIT: Just spotted the spelling mistake... please ignore that.)
Well, I'm back with a new idea and a reworked one. What do you think of these cards?
NOTE: Does Beastcaller count for this competition?
Thanks for your comments on my cards! Of the three, I like Spooky Watcher the most.Maybe it should be a demon? Floating Watcher is a demon, after all.
Emmi Hopeblade is interesting, but I'm not sure where it would fit in Warrior. It might be better off as an even cost Warlock card, in a Glinda Crowskin - Mountain Giant Handlock deck.
I saw both your cards. Sadly linkblade91 and shadow don't really appreciate countering the mechanic part. I personally like it, but not in the card you made. I think there can be more interesting and creative designs.
But I really love the Huntress, because she is a real strong card in a Baku hunter. If a similar card was ever printed, she will be the reason why that deck will be a thing. Powerful, but you have to find her and play her, which isn't that strong in a class, that lacks good draws. So gj.
I saw both your cards. And I like the effect of the first legendary more. Sorry, but Zukuu is right - the hunter legendary does feel weak, slow and she would be better (but still subpar as a single copy) w/o the even-Cost restriction. But this will make her illegal, so sorry. :X
Inb4 try to take into consideration how hunter has draw issues. It will be a miracle, if they survive until the late game and find their buffed C'Thun.
Normally I don't like how people try to "ruin" Baku/Genn decks by running niche cards, which put tokens into their decks. Not every class will be good enough to make the cut, so we will see a frigid number of those decks. By using such cards people are actually hurting their decks more, because they are using valuable space slots for something situational. And I was talking in general. The first card feels even more punishing, because 1) you are giving the opponent extra resources, 2) they are sitting at the bottom of their decks so they won't dilute them, 3) most of the time this won't do anything, but to be a River Crocolisk w/o the tag.
The epic neutral is interesting. He reminds me of Hemet, Jungle Hunter. I personally think, that this deserves a slight buff to its stats. Just a slight one, so that it won't become a blind replacement to the Hydra.
Well, Genn does fit aggro decks more and for now Paladin is going to be the best Genn deck, but I don't think, that that deck will want to replace the dude HP. Some people take your legendary as a OP card, but I don't because aggro decks wouldn't want to throw away consistency over a new HP. As for the design - I can't really evaluate it, sorry. Ask for other's opinions.
Interesting card, but I don't like it that much just because I don't see Baku Druid becoming a thing. Malfurion DK is more than enough and the deck doesn't need to sacrifice resources or consistency. Maybe there is an aggro Baku deck, which I'm not seeing and in that deck your card will fit pretty nicely. But if this isn't the case, then sorry, I don't like the design. Slow Druid decks can just use their spellstone, the face damage doesn't mean much to them.
I don't like the design of the last two cards and even the first card kinda worries me.
As Demon said, the last card won't work, because the Start of Game effects trigger after the Mulligan. If this wasn't the case, then I would loved that card a lot and I would have suggested you to use it in the competition.
The demon is broken. You do realize, that you can play a 4 mana 6/5 demon w/o discarding anything? I mean, if your hand doesn't have any odd-Cost cards, then it will be a vanilla 6/5, great tempo in zoo. With the "restriction" you buff your disco decks even more, so that they can summon free golems or cheap tokens. Look, I kinda like the wording, but you have to design another card (with worse stats). Maybe use the following text as well - Battlecry: Discard a random card. If you have an odd-Cost one, discard that instead. (or something in those lines)
The first card seems the most fair one. For now go with this, but ask for other's opinions as well.
Amm, I think, that your card is way worse than Death Revenant, because you are sacrificing a lot of the deck's consistency just for a cheaper card with slightly better stats. Genn Warrior will never work - having a 1 mana HP, which gives you 2 armor, is super weak and insignificant in any control or aggro decks (where Genn will be actually used in). Sorry.
Nice. The design is better, but I think, that he deserves a slight stat buff. Nah, I like it. Anything else and he would become something miles and miles stronger than Guardian of Kings. Ask for other's opinions and maybe ask for Even-Steven.
For everyone else, who I didn't comment on - kinda hard for me to evaluate your cards. So don't take it personally, if I "skipped" your ideas. Just bump them.
The warrior card seems better to me. The Beastcaller - fix the art (centralize the pic), I don't like the RNG effect, might screw you. The neutral legendary could be reworded like this Reduce the cost of the even-Cost cards in your hand by (1)". The other part was understandable.
Sorry, mate, but I don;t like the design. Shaman's spells are odd cost, so we don't really gain from this card. I admit, that aggro decks can't abuse it, but that's all I can say.
I don't like the first 2 cards. The pala spell, although gratz for not making the clichee deck restriction like everyone else, seems way too good in every slow build. It not only draws you specific cards, but it can play them for free (tirion, ragnaros, something else). The druid legendary isn't practical regarding the coding.
The neutral gnome seems strong, but balanced. Exceptionally strong in dudeadin (tokens cost 1), but in a good way.
The rarity is missing. I think, that you can skip the words "Cost" (in odd-Cost) and basic. We can understand what you meant. Dunno if the text is worth it for a new plain HP, but I like the "equal number of ..." part.
I like the design. Pity, that you need to explain the card better, which leads to making the text longer (basic HP =/= opponent's HP, so that you can avoid copying DK hero powers as well, making this better than that TGT 6 mana epic minion)
I think, that this effect needs to be part of class specific legendaries, but mage isn't the class, which deserves this one. As shukala said, this is too strong there. I think, that this in warrior would be fair. 3 mana execute isn't something broken, that card was nerfed anyway so yeah. You can get an inspiration and make your legendary an even-Cost minion as well, so that it will have an increased cost.
My like said it all. But I really like your card - you get to "draw" two cards with this one, which aren't entirely random, since they have an even cost and you will probably discover the cards, which you sacrificed in making this deck (Execute). So gratz, go with it.
Sorry, dude, but I don't like the design of your card. First off, there is nothing mathematical in warlocks (unless you mean the HS class and not lorewise, but this applies to the other classes as well). Secondly why would a spell damage minion gain rush? Why would a mathematician gain rush? The text of your card is a bit too long. But I like the "your opponent's deck" part. Can you design something, which includes this part?
Thanks for feedback. It seems some modifying is necessary to my idea...
Keep bumping your post, in order to hear out other's opinions. I'm just passing by:
To Battle! at 10 mana seems reasonable, but the current effect is still pretty strong imho. It's an unhealthy mix of Sprint and Varian Wrynn. I can seriously imagine a Spiteful deck just because of this spell (and Dinosize). Dunno, I like the flavour, but I'm fearing its power.
[edit] And if it wasn't clear enough - Grand Archivist would be bonkers there.
About the dwarf - I think, that I'm kinda having mixed thoughts just because of the dudes. Can you change the "odd-Cost" part to an "even-Cost"? If you do this, then the first version will be the one I would chose - not because of the obvious even synergy, but because how this card could be used in aggro decks as well, as a cheap taunt (a neutral Druid of the Swarm with 1 more Attack and w/o the tag), which protects your minions in mirror matches.
I changed the artwork so the tracker looked more like a tracker. Made sure it was centered too. Still don't know if I should put the price of the spell to three. It would be more consistent as linkblade said but if another class (priest) managed to get his hand on the spell it would be OP at that price. What do you think?
Thanks for the feedback! I'd love to give some back but I'm not really comfortable doing so has I have no experience in this :/
Alright, bumping for final feedback and including Even-Steven as well, because apparently he was liked by some people? If I could get some mod feedback as well as anyone elses, I would love to hear it.
I already submitted by idea, but I have a crack theory that Genn could go into Enrage/Pain Warrior, due to most of the cards being even cost.
So here's what I submitted:
I made it to counteract Whirlwind being odd cost. Your deck has to be even, but it serves as a slightly better Volcanic Potion with a roughly 5 mana body.
Does a card get disqualified if I need to edit it? I put even-cost minions rather than even-cost cards, and forgot the Witchwood mark, so I wanted to check just in case.

You can fix things like these, its even encouraged. But you cant significantly alter the card, like change a spell into a minion or make a completely different ability etc., so in your case, go ahead ;-)
The first one replaces Wrath if you aren't allowed to have even-Cost cards, but is not completely useless otherwise (like if you get it randomly). The second one is a replacement for Fireball in odd Mage decks. Note that it's two separate damage sources. Although the two 3 damage pings will hit the same target, they will hit separately and sequentially. This means it will trigger on-damage effects twice, but can also one-shot Divine Shield minions. Is it a little too powerful? I can make it only target minions if so. The last one is meant to slightly alleviate restrictions for odd Mage. You can't get even minions, but it can still help. It's also good if you want to discover a spell, but don't want a Secret. Is this even allowed, though? I could always change it to only trigger if you only have odd-Cost cards.
I like the last card more. I told you my opinion 'bout the first card, the second one does feel a bit too strong, but the last one is perfect. I just imagine how this minion helps you with the curve - you play him on turn 3, discover a 4 cost card or a 2 mana one, which you can combine with a ping. This guys also helps odd decks a lot by giving the players the cards they had to sacrifice. So yeah, the gnome wins.

Witchwood Weave: It's a nice, flexible card that helps Odd Druid but it's outshadowed by Lesser Jasper Spellstone, so it's kinda pointless. The healing is a bit weaker than Flash Heal and a bit weaker than Barkskin, so I don't see that being of use either...I like the alliteration tho. :P
Witch Fire: That seems a bit too potent and bursty in terms of damage. Granted that Odd Mage really lacks direct damage spells (in Standard), so it might help it there, but the effect seems too frightening for my taste. Limiting it to minions would help.
Orderly Storekeeper: I really like this one. Because there's LOTS of good Mage spells (e.g. Polymorph, Frostbolt, Fireball, Meteor, Primordial Glyph, Blizzard, Pyroblast) this will be certainly useful in Odd Mage, which lacks those vital spells. It also curves nicely next turn with an Even number of Mana Crystals. I think you should go with this one, but you should probably buff this to a 3/2 or 2/3 because Ethereal Conjuerer loses 2 stat points from the vanilla 5 mana body (5/6), so this should lose 2 stat points too.
If you want to, could you please review my cards? :3
Anyone who’s posted here plus any other responders: where do you guys find art that so accurately matches that of Hearthstone card art? I usually end up resorting to Magic the Gathering art when making things.
I find a lot of my art from the WoW TCG that was around a bit ago, they have a lot of flavorful art that fits a lot of cards, just have to get creative with it sometimes; or i'll look up stuff on google like if i want an orc warrior i'd look up 'World of Warcraft Orc Warrior Art' and usually I get a good amount of art.
Also i'll be looking through the thread tomorrow and commenting on interesting cards/ones that catch my eye!
I get my art from this page: http://www.blizz-art.com/wowtcg/ It has a lot of content if you're looking for good art for your custom cards, although the search system from it is pretty trashy.
