wait... Nurgling's really made it in? There is no turtle!
Voting for Edel Bernal's Giant Tortoise. 5 mana is a great spot for this card, I'd love to see mages screw up their whole game plan through Firelands Portal.

Tortoises are Turtle-like beings. I allowed it.
what? Nurgling's card is just a black image. There is no turtle, unless I'm confused?

Try looking at it from above (ie look down on your monitor) or increasing the brightness in PS or something. There's definitely an animal there. I will admit, I saw only black at first too.
Flaming Turtle by SvagoCorp: Highly innovative, extremely well balanced, and the flavour is on point! This is totally the hottest card here! (Voted)
Blastoise by Augrero: Demands more skill in terms of minion placement, and seems balanced enough. Seems like a blast! (Voted)
Rise of Gamera by Dragonborne: Seeing as there aren't a lot of turtles, and that there isn't a clear way to know if a card is a "turtle" or not, I'm not sure if I like this card. It doesn't seem very reliable, and the reward seems to not have a fast enough effect; Nether Portal provides a more immediate effect. Also, compared to the other quests, the reward's stats are quite weak while something like Barnabus the Stomper is a 8/8 with a more poweful effect. The reward seems too slow...erm for a turtle that is. (Not Voted)
Shuckle by Tomerick88: It may be that I haven't adapted to this card yet, but this seems like power creep over Pterrordax Hatchling It can either get out of hand pretty quickly if your opponent can't react to it, or it can just be completely useless as it gets quickly overrun by other minions or things like Power Word: Pain. I'm so painfully sorry for this. (Not Voted)
Giant Tortoise by The_Edel_Bernal: It's a good idea, and it seems balanced compared to Venture Co. Mercenary. However, something about the card seems...dull. Plus, although the card promotes playing Control decks with it, it does not discourage Aggro decks played against it. I mean it's not a "Giant" problem, but it's a "big" deal to me. (Not Voted)
Chimaeric Carapace by Dankygreens:Bolster is arguably better and more reliable, and that card wasn't played. I get that you want to build a wall and make others pay for it, but in reality, it seems like YOU are being taxed here by the tempo loss. (Not Voted)
Turtlemaster Odai by Livienna: This card is just so flavourful, and I LOVE IT. I may be a bit biased because I think that Livienna is a great card designer, and I really think he/she deserves the Card Design Champion title. However, I believe that the card is well balanced, yet it provides a powerful effect that can be played around, but the Spirit of the Turtle can still be potent. That's the spirit! (Voted)
Sky Turtle by sashashepto: I'm slighlty confused by this one. Is "You Are a Turtle" one of the Adapt options, or is it one of the possible options that could appear? Regardless, the idea is nice, and the card seems powerful enough by itself; however, the main problem is the card pool. Since this card is in Priest, there aren't a lot of good Adapt minions here...actually there aren't enough Adapt minions available anyways. The only cards that I can see would see play would be Volcanosaur, Vicious Fledgling...and that's it. It's not worth it to just put a 1/1 out there that provides such a small benefit to a small group of cards. Plus, this card reduces the chance of getting a different Adaptaion that you would want. I like the art of a turtle swimming through the clouds, but I'm afraid the lack of a useful effect is a "cirrus" problem. (Not Voted)
Tortolla, The Wise One by HitSlender: Its balance by itself is fine, but in the current meta...t-t-the eggs... I see them everywhere. The tokens...the Mark of the Lotus...aggro Druids...no escape...a-a-and with more mana as well?!...but...no...the ladder...the spam...my hero's Health...IT'S ALL GONE!!! *hyperventilates*. Sorry HitSlender, I love ya, but I have too much shell shock. (Not Voted)
Sense Shadows by nurgling13: Well, it looks cool and balanced compared to Sense Demons, and the card is a nice reference to that Warlock card and ShadowsofSense and...wait a minute...OH NO, IT'S A PUN. Must...resist...bias...GAH! (Voted)

Ah, I was SSSOOO close, and I was doing SO well at first too. I thought I was good at this.
I don't know who to vote for.
you ARE good at this! there were some strong entries here. also you should of course vote for my card ;D
Thank you. Yeah, I should've done that. I didn't really think about it because these competitions are so short. But here in the finals, you deserve my vote.

I don't think Hero Power should be bolded.
But Flaming Turtle is perfect. I would even go as far as saying that it is a card that could potentially win a weekly competition.
I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,

I'm in the same boat, Sense Shadow's artwork just appears as nothing to me. Just black and empty.EDIT: Nevermind, I see it now. You have to look REALLY closely at it to see it, but it is there.

I guess my brightness or contrast is high or something, because the turtle looked clear to me when I made the image. The outline, at least.
Come Play Make the Keyword!!!

I think my 2 favorite are Flaming Turtle and Giant Tortoise, I think they're both pretty well balanced and have great flavor.
When I die, I want to go peacefully and in my sleep like my Grandpa. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.
Hooray! I made it!! Good to see my Gamera over there :)
Flaming Turtle is a really slick design, I like the card very much. Good job.

Setting aside the Shuckle debate, I think it's amusing and hilarious we ended up with four different Pokemon here. XD
