A'dal is bad. Pathetically bad. Compare it to Aviana which costs one less, doesn't need to survive a turn to get value and can save you significantly more than 1-mana per spell. And Aviana doen't even see play!
You're forgetting that this is a class that is centered around 0-cost spells. A'dal has enormous combo potential with Shadow Twin, Gadgetzan Auctioneer, etc.
Even so. Aviana can still pull off a lot more potential value.
Also if Tribute choice is on your opponents turn you don't even need the timer.
Edit: Really Tribute should be its own mechanic. It would fit and you could make more cards with it.
Edit 2: Yeah Tribute seems like it would be an awesome mechanic. It would let you make higher power cards balanced by the fact that you give your opponent options.

I think I'll take your stance on Tribute as well. The more I think about it the more I realize that Blizzard would never let you give your opponent a choice on your turn. That's a really cool tribute card but I'm iffy about keywording it.

I think the best way to word Tribute would be "Your opponent makes a decision at the start of their next turn." You could have the UI work like the Pirate Brawl except its between two choices. Its also interesting that you can make a high stated minion that gives your Opponent a benefit on their turn. It would also probably be best to word the choices from the persspective of the player making the choice. For example "your opponent draws a card" vs "draw a card"
Tribute is an incredibly cool mechanic, but Blizzard's policy of no interaction during the opponent's turn will probably prevent anything resembling it from ever happening :(

I am actually fine with this. It also makes certain tribute effects like card draw less suffocating, since you don't get the benefit until your next turn.

Keep in mind that tribute cards are a lot weaker than they seem since giving your opponent a choice means they pick what is most beneficial to them. A warrior with whirlwind will never give you two coins, etc.

The Hero Power now reads "Discover a 0-Cost card then play it" and the Justicar upgrade reads "Discover two 0-Cost cards and play them." This prevents the player from stocking up on 0 mana spells as certain people have mentioned was a point of concern. Keep in mind that 0-cost cards that do not have valid targets will not be discover-able.

(3/4 mana = 1 card, 5/6 mana = 2 cards, 7/8 mana = 3 cards, 9/10 mana = 4 cards)

Thanks for the praise! I actually have not considered doing a Jaraxxus style effect because I don't think this class needs it and it doesn't fit the playstyle of the class. I don't think I would use Saraad if I were to make a jaraxxus-like card because he already has a card and is an ethereal made up for TGT. For your participation in this dead thread, here's a card :)

Thank you for the kind comment! The other forbidden cards are all 0 mana because they are meant to always been on curve. Also, since the hero power can discover 0-cost spells, this would be far too powerful. Speaking of 0-Cost spells, here you go:

- Shattered Time lowered to 7 mana.
- Master A'dal buffed to 9 mana 5/9.
Developer's notes (it makes me sound important):
- Making an adventure from start to finish is unrealistic unless I find a collaborator(s).
- Thinking of making another class; if I do I'm considering Naga.
- Doubt I'll be making an expansion but if do, it will definitely have Ethereal cards.
