I learned after the first one not to judge quickly. So many cards so far have been thought to have been garbage and now are used quite extensively. This could also be one of them.
3 1/1 beasts in play and 3 beast cards in your hand once they die. This could be pretty awesome. Especially with other cards still to come out.
Hunters hands are going to fill up with some good cards very quickly mid to late game.

The issue is that turn 6 most hunters are looking for burst not mediocre board presence with eventual draw. Unless a bunch of control cards come out it'd be tough to see this in any deck. Might be solid in arena though.
This card is situational.....But very strong in the right situation...Especially in top decking battles in Ranked or Arena...You get 3 webspinners to suicide which equals 3 card draw + 3 dmg for 6 mana....That's pretty good value...
This card will NEVer see play.........ever..... 6 mana for 3 cards that actually cost one...... If they were like leper gnome maybe because your guaranteed 6 damage.. But this is just bad
It's a situational card but very strong in the right scenario. Especially in top decking wars, this is deal 3 dmg and draw 3 cards for 6 mana..Pretty good value..
I think that in a super late game control hunter deck (which would need a lot of other cards from this expansion to justify it to begin with) this card would still be bad. Control decks are designed to play threats in the mid-late game, not overcosted 1/1s that give random cards, instead of ones from your optimized deck. And as it turns out, control hunters (as well as midrange/hyrbid) have an incredible auto-include tier 6 drop already, as well as many other very powerful neutral options for that mana slot. How about that. ;)
Maybe if control hunters become really desperate for card draw they might throw one of these in, but I highly doubt that, especially with lock and load, as well as possibly other card draw being introduced.
It's not good unless comboed with something that can buff your webspinners to make them semi-relevant like a Dire Wolf Alpha. Even then it still might not be good enough to warrant the mana cost.
I'll still play with this card though in a casual deck. It looks like fun.
It's a very situational card but very strong in the right scenario like top decking wars....It's deal 3 dmg and draw 3 cards for 6 mana which is very good.
You guys are looking at it the wrong way....This is a slightly better Nourish....Nourish is 5 mana and draw 3 cards... Ball of Spiders is 6 mana and draw 3 cards + 3 1/1 minions and furthermore it adds to your deck instead of taking away + plus likely beast synergy......It's a very good card when you can afford to play it...Just like when you have the chance too Nourish...
Seriously tho, this is just a bad card. It's a tremendous tempo loss for a decent value gain.
Face/Midrange Hunter will never play this because it's way too slow. Control Hunter...was, is and will not be a thing, at least this addition will not cut it.
Control Hunter does not exist for two reasons:
(1) Face and Midrange Hunter are too strong. One of them is almost alway in the Tier 1 decklist. Not to mention that they're two of the cheapest list in Hearthstone. Firebat's beast Hunter had a quite good win rate in high ranks, but never made into the meta because...well, if you can play a 2000 dusts no-brain deck and have a similar win rate, why bother with 10000 dust hard-to-play deck.
(2) Hunter, as a class, is weak to aggro and doesn't have any life gain from class cards or hero power. If you think about it, all control decks are played by classes that have some form of life gain. Control Warrior has armor up, Shield Block, Shieldmaiden; Control Paladin has Truesilver, Lay on Hands; Control Priest has heal, Light of Naaru and so on. Handlock, while not having any natural life gain, its minions are high-valued therefore can afford to have 2 Healbot in its deck. Hunter have none of these.

I agree. I hope hunter will also get a healing card in this expansion. But in general if you play secret heavy deck- Illuminator is a hidden gem. It can give you heals. It's not super good.. but it's something and 2/4 for 3 mana ain't that bad either :D

I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.
Read it as 6 mana "Draw 3 Beasts". I mean, I know this card is threading on the unplayable territory, but the cost is about right. If it was 5 mana, it would be a bit slower but restricted to Beasts Nourish with bodies attached to it. And anything lower would be just ridiculous. Don't think of it as "Summon 3 Webspinners", only as "Draw 3 Beasts". For a card draw starved class like Hunter, this is a godsend for the more controlly/midrange-y types of decks. Yeah, sometimes you'll get 3 Captain's Parrot out of it and cry, but other games you'll get Kodos, Krushes etc. etc.
Lock and Load is more what hunter needs. Thankfully we got that. This in another hand.. nope. And it's not really draw 3 cards(beasts). Because if you draw a beast immediately, you can also play it if you have the mana while you have to wait til next turn to get your cards from them and who knows maybe they get silenced by a crazy priest running mass dispel or a shaman running 2X earthshock and killing and silencing 2 of them, it's also a bit unreliable. So yeah I don't see how this card is playable. But then again I see your perspective, and it is pretty decent in arena :D

I am a person who wants to see the rest of the set but this card I would have to see is not what I think the class really needed. I mean if when Noxious and The Chiv did their hunter card creation video they had awesome card and almost nothing close to this. I would like to see this card at 5 mana because it would help curve into the late game. 3 mana for the muster effect, 1 mana for the beast synergy and 1 mana for the 3 random beast. I mean would we really try a combo this with Buzzard for 10 mana god no, not a good enough reason not to set its cost at 5.

Every example you listed is shit that would never happen 199 out of 200 games. So it ain't even worth addressing. It's a very good card in the right situation..It's the exact same as Nourish. The cards you draw normally can't be played until next turn anyway. For the extra 1 mana you get 3 1/1 minions with likely Beast synergy.
Pre expansion same old negative vibes moritaries!

Think of it this way in terms of where it lands on the mana scale:
1-3 Mana- Waaaay OP
4 Mana- Still too strong since you also draw 3 cards with beast synergy that don't come from your deck
5 Mana- About right, but combos with Starving Buzzard
6 Mana- Just right
Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Because I never see anyone playing other 6drops than Savanah or sylvanas in hunter bro, and this is pretty bad compared to the 2 others
this card is at six so that we will not see it played with starving buzzard (riot really fears that card)

Ball of Dust is what this should have been called.
Ibn Fahd.
I think this is the the perfect definition for a ''bad card''.
Too RNG based, terrible stats.I'm not seeing this being played in any deck.

High-level play is assumed when discussing cards because otherwise what would we talk about? The art? The sound effects? How fun it is?
"This is a fun card! I like spiders. I made a beast deck." - What value is there in comments like this that you are expecting?

Ball of Spiders? Nope.
SMOrc? Yep!

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.

The card itself isn't bad but control hunter in general is something that will never catch on because face hunter is too strong.
