For all of you who think they should drop their big bois right after Nozdormu: it doesn't refresh mana crystals, it's actually bad, Duskfallen Aviana like bad
It was confirmed, it does not refresh your mana crystals. We really shouldn't jump on the "Bad card" conclusion right away, if this was intended for late game Paladin that means we will have strong late game cards that can turn the tide in our favor. Remember even if you give your opponent 10 mana, they have to deal with your 8/8. To deal with an 8/8 it costs mana and so in turn they will spend / waste their resources to kill it. Then on your turn you can clear their board, build your board, Nozari if your in trouble, Time Out! with another spell to get going for next turn. I personally believe this card will, by itself, make control and big Paladin strong. We need to see the other cards before judging though.
This card is sick. It is a 4 Mana 8/8. 8/8 is worth 7.5 Mana alone so just the stats already cheat 3.5 Mana.
Then you have the Battlecry which is a mirrored effect so if both players play the same type of deck it has no impact... Which won't be the case most of the time. Usually you have the dedicated big deck and your opponent has not. If both players have a Big deck, okay you still have the 8/8.
So this is a game winning card when played on curve, and when not it is still a 4 Mana 8/8 which is over the top good.
For all of you who think they should drop their big bois right after Nozdormu: it doesn't refresh mana crystals, it's actually bad, Duskfallen Aviana like bad
Not even close to this. There is a reason it is an 8/8 for 4 mana - clearly to combat being a Duskfallen Aviana like card. This is very obviously good, potentially very good but will backfire every now and then.
Without targetted draw for it and playable 6 extra mana in the same turn, this card will be really bad.
Still, we shouldn't forget that this card will probably be in the discover pool. I wonder how often it will be discovered from other cards and how it will effect the game when it's discovered by a Hunter or a Warrior.
This wont be as significant as people think. Unless there is some combo with it, otherwise Questshamans/Druids will just say ty, and finish their quest/wincondition so much faster .
I think this card is very well balanced. if you don't draw this at early game it doesn't punish you for putting this into deck you still have 4 mana 8/8 minion at late game. It makes highlander Pala and quest pala more viable decksand fits to almost all non-aggro decks.
Also this can fit into combo deck where you need high mount of mana to rotate entire deck so it will allow you to rotate faster.
Bad thing about it is that playing this against other heavy decks.
This card is terrible. 8/8 body give your opponent first go with 10 mana on their next turn.
YOU DO NOT GET 10 MANA ON THE TURN YOU PLAY THIS CARD. THIS IS DUSK AVIANA BAD!! Maybe playable late game in a Paladin Highlander? Might as well have a giant? If it has GREAT dragon synergy then this card could work, but that's a nasty swing turn you're giving up to your opponent.
It will either be pretty good, or unplayable terrible.
TL;DR
Didn't read fine print, 4 mana 8/8 lose the game meme.

Developed Hearthstone player, have played and beaten highly skilled opponents on numerous occasions. Not that ambitious on ladder. Only play off of win streaks. Love theory more than meta.

Nope it is not Duskfallen Aviana bad not even close.
First of all...Look at the stats difference: 4 mana 8/8 vs 5 mana 3/7 .
Second...Since it's a battlecry effect your opponent can't just use their 10 mana advantage and then kill your Nozdormu right away to prevent you from getting your advantage out of the card like they can with Duskfallen Aviana .
And third...In the late game it's just an op giant. 4 mana 8/8 no questions asked.
The two cards are not even in the same realm of power level. I actually think this will be pretty solid in some Control or Big Paladin. Maybe those decks don't end up being meta but it surely will not be because this card is terrible.

I wouldn't compare this card to Duskfallen Aviana (I still don't know what they were thinking), as you can play this card with another 6-mana card on turn 10 without getting punished. Giants can not guarantee such a play, they're too conditional.
Also if you are playing against an aggro deck, your opponent may run out of steam very easily on early turns. So if your opponent holds one card or two, you may just play Nozdormu probably without getting punished.
Who knows, maybe there will be more cards supporting Duel Paladin and Nozdormu will shine in it.
I don't know if I should say good or playable
It's not bad at all but it's not perfect neither, you know

Quality of this card is entirely dependent on whether or not you get 6 extra mana if you play it on 4. If you don’t its probably really really bad.

Very strong card especially versus OTK decks, as you can bring out your strongest minions before they have a chance to draw 85% of their deck.
Mana cost vs stats are f@king crazy
You: Play this
Opponent: Plays his hand
You: Trade with your 8/8, play Shrink Ray and a 4 drop. Advantage

Evolve and all the other wild>standard cards will leave rotation for this expansion
This isn't ramp, more like skyrocket
