We won't see this in play because elementals isn't good enough to stand Mid - Late games. It's very different from innervate and preparation because Rogue and Druid have late game finishers also prep is a nice card for combo mechanic.
I said it once and I'll say it again this card is amazing.
if this doesn't see play it's only because people aren't playing hearthstone.
Or simply know how to play the game. Sorry, but in my view this card is utterly crap. You lose 1 card for a 2 mana discount; people are comparing it to innervate; but people are forgetting that it's so far away from innervate as any card could be: Innervate was only strong because it allowed Druid to use ALL cards, this is far too narrow, only allowing elementals to be used earlier.
People are also seeing this as the perfect mulligan-combo with innervate+pyros, Water elemental or whatever. But we had always pretty sick mulligan-combos. Most of them never took place.
The most important issue is that this is an utterly crappy topdeck. Yes, sometimes you topdeck it and you can play an elemental 1-2 turns earlier, but sometimes you don't have an elemental or it doesn't matter if the elemental cost 5 or 3 mana at turn 7, because you have nothing else to do anyway. Sometimes it only allows you to use your hero power another time.
It's still a 0 mana spell and never undererstimate a 0 mana spell; still it seems to be one of the most overrated cards right now.
discount ur mountain giant might be nice btw. heavy elemental mage like the kibler one might be good, just dont run dragons fury, theres that new epic aoe card to replace it
I'm not convinced this is a strong card. While the tempo potential is there, the effect is limited to Elementals. It's a good tribe overall, though I don't know that it is strong enough to benefit here.

It wouldn't fit into the elemental handmage Kibler plays because it'd mess with your biggest power play (book of spectres into mountain giant) but it'll see play in a different elemental deck.
This + Coin + Mountain Giant is the next t2 broken combo Kappa
Year of the mammoth tought us mana cheat is strong, no matter how it appears.
Also, turn 4 Rag
Damn strong card. Not meta-defining, but strong as hell.
Mana Wyrm died for this. Literally. Imagine how broken it would be - turn 1 old Mana Wyrm, turn 2 4 mana elemental
This card is very strong and makes tempoelemental mage very possible

This is great. Thankyou Blizzard.
Just a shame Jaina rotates in a few months..
Turn 1 The Coin + 2x Elemental Evocation + Frozen Crusher
I think you're forgetting something here...

This is outstanding; it's the kind of card you full mulligan for and Mage has the card draw to back it.
This is what Mana Wyrm died for. I'd expect Tempo Mage to be great as usual post-rotation.
pretty cool combo with arcanosaur :V

This is good for those powerful but under utilized mid cost elemental with last play effects (like the new one they revealed yesterday).
