Basically yes, with both brewmaster and brann you would make raza a 8th turn card instead of 5th turn card, and with brewmaster you would spend 12 mana and brann 8 mana. The other drawbacks are also that you need to draw the 2 cards to activate raza's complete effect and also spend a card from your deck just for the effect.
This would honestly be a great way to keep the deck alive in wild. So many of the nerfs blizzard has done have kill some really fun decks.
I feel that this nerf to raza will kinda kill the deck but won't kill the card, at least in wild it will be good for a control deck, don't see it in a combo deck anymore.
The nerf is close to irrelevant in wild. Remember Phophet velen is obsolete in the format for combo purposes since we have Spawn of Shadows. Post nerf the otk will still be possible. It will just require Emperor Thaurissan for consistency.

Chances are that the deck will still be top tier and almost as powerful in wild and still be combo oriented with more of a emperor style finish. The deck is too good against aggro to not see play...but I guess we'll have to wait and see, only time will tell

What if raza nerf was like this: Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, your hero power costs (1) less this game ?

When someone decide to switch to Anduin, hero power costs (2).

just run 2 raaza. still broken
use Youthful Brewmaster, and then Ancient Brewmaster then you get a hero power that costs -1. Infinite mana every turn PogChamp
