In and of itself, this is a really good card. Curves well into Houndmaster, works exceptionally well with Build-A-Beast and gives Hunters some pseudo-AoE where they have little. However one thing that damages the card would be that it's yet another 3-cost Hunter card and they already have so many. Potion of Madness is also a thing.
Still, it has potential to be really good.

seems a little easy to kill and is understated for a 3 drop, this would be a much better card in paladin which has buffs like kings. Hunter doesn't really have many buffs outside of hound master and crackling razor maw so you get what you get for the most part. Not a terrible card but not the card that's going to bring hunter back 3/5 stars.
The map itself is excellent 4/5, it will help to fight off aggressive decks. 1 minus, only in the game against the wharf, where it can not be played in any way. He just vokruet - is killed, at the same time captures a couple more creatures. 0. / 5
This card is bonkers! I love it! Against Rogue and Zoolock it is just huge. If you play Houndmaster on this, you can clear the board easily against these zoo decks which need to have the board (even kill that annoying Shaku, the Collector or force them to not play anything on turn 3). This card does against zoo decks what Bearshark does to control decks. And that is the only reason I don't rate this as meta-defining. Because it is really bad against control, and those decks will still exists and be very present.
But now Hunter has two tech tools on the 3 mana cost slot. Bearshark for control and Cave Hydra for zoo. And that is just Awesome!!!
Hunter traditionally struggles against even faster classes, and this card really helps with that. It also has fantastic synergy with Houndmaster, both with its ability and high health.
What happens if i combine this with Dispatch Kodo?

So we finally see the intended target of Toxic Arrow and Bestial Wrath!

The hero hunter needs
This let's hunter fight agains wide boards. Still, the 3-mana slot is very crowded in hunter.

Common? This card is outright busted in arena.
Hopefully, this card helps hunter transition towards control. I don't think it is enough though.
Finally the splash effect on a cheap minion that doens't have awful stats. This is excellent.
This, the unicorn, and some of the other 5 or less mana beasts, are gonna buff Deathstalker. Brilliant. :D
i believe that this guy will be a first pick option in build-a-beast. it's gonna be pretty good.
why doesnt it say adjacent like all cards before it? Makes no sense. HS learnt me that word, So I got that goin for me which is nice.
cool, this + kodo from build a beast - 4dmg to minion and adjecment ones
Won't work. Both have complex texts. Better to combo with giant wasp.
If you can land a Houndmaster on it the next turn it can single-handedly win you the game. Otherwise its quite bad.
That's Incredible!

Very few cards have such an unanimous vote for Very Good with almost none for Meta-defining :O
